“Agne is so wonderful with our dog, Baloo. You can tell that she loves dogs. She is timely and reliable. I am so glad I found her. Baloo is a big dog (over 100 lbs) and he is no problem for her.”

“Wow he's amazing! I've never used a rover before because one of my dogs has aggressive tendencies towards dogs/people. So I've been pretty hesitant in using a rover/sitter. Joseph is absolutely amazing! Took his time, made sure the dogs were comfortable, read their body language. Just did everything right. By his second visit, my dogs absolutely adored him!”

“Emily was great! I booked her day-of on a holiday weekend in a bind and she was super fast to respond, asked clarifying questions to make sure things went smoothly, and then sent lots of pics and reported back on how things went. She even stayed over a few minutes to make sure our dog went potty which was much appreciated. We will definitely use her again for dog walking!”

“Rebecca was great! We have no issues and our dog Molly loved her. We will be reaching out to her in the future for our doggy needs! I would definitely recommend Rebecca to friends.”

“Thank you sooooooo very much! That sounds like a typical day when we walk/run. I appreciate you taking him and even letting some of his energy out. He loves that. I can tell he was happy as when I got home he was wagging his tail, and he just loves meeting new people. He can’t wait for his next walk with ya Jessica! And Thank you for the lockbox, got it!”

About: I have had dogs since I can remember and raised a puppy when I was a teenager. I house sit and watch my family and friends dogs often. I have a cat of my own and love her to pieces. I've administered insulin shots to my parents elderly dog and have even taken him to vet visits. I love all animals no matter what shape or size or species. I know leaving your family member in the hands of a stranger can be stressful and I try to make that experience as stress free as possible. I am overly communicative and extremely cautious with your animals! Lots of pics and updates included! I would love to help you with yours! I am currently very flexible and would love to gain long term clients with regularly scheduled daily walks and then move to overnight visits once trust is established and I get to know your animal more! I would not be able to take any pets into my own home. I am happy to walk even your run pups or do mid day check ins for cats or more!
“Kylee was fantastic! Showed up on time everyday and my dog always came home tired and happy! She even went above and beyond to make sure Moose got extra care and attention.”

About: I've been caring for animals since childhood. I have decades of hands-on experience with both dogs and cats of all personalities. I’ve cared for neonates, seniors, shy and anxious pets, high-energy dogs, and cats with complex medical needs. I’m comfortable administering medications, following special routines, and providing attentive care tailored to each pet. I pay close attention to behavior, appetite, energy levels, and subtle signs of stress or illness. For shy or sensitive pets, I move at their pace, creating a calm, low-stress environment where they feel safe and comfortable. Whether it’s playtime, walks, snuggles, or just quiet companionship, I adjust to each pet’s needs. Above all, I treat every dog and cat like family, with patience, affection, and respect for their unique personality. I’m home during the day, which gives me a flexible schedule to provide individualized care for every pet. This allows me to accommodate special needs, from administering medications or fluids, to extra playtime, snuggles, or monitoring a pet’s health. Being home full-time ensures pets in my care always have attention, companionship, and a consistent routine, so they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I provide a safe, comfortable, and pet-friendly environment for both dogs and cats. My home features a fully fenced yard for doggy guests to play and explore, plus several daily walks to keep them active and happy. I have a resident 15-year-old chihuahua who is friendly with both dogs and cats, and all pets are carefully supervised to ensure peaceful interactions. For cats, I only board one at a time or multiple from the same family. They enjoy their own bedroom outfitted with cozy cat trees, a water fountain, plenty of toys, and catnip. My resident and foster cats are kept separate from boarding pets if needed, so each animal feels safe and relaxed. Your pets will have individualized care, enrichment, and attention in a calm, secure space where they can feel at home while you’re away.

I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to have plenty of extra time to care for animals. I’m able to work around different schedules and am available for regular walks, drop-ins, house sitting, and giving pets the attention and care they need throughout the day. I always make sure pets are in a safe, comfortable, and clean environment. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and make sure everything is kept clean and secure.
About: I'm a retired officer, background-checked through Rover, and have more than 10 years of experience caring for my own dogs as well as friends', family members', and clients' pets. Throughout my career and personal life, responsibility, trustworthiness, and attention to detail have always been important to me, and I bring those same qualities to every pet I care for. In 2016, I adopted Barney the Shih Tzu, followed by Jack in 2019. Both were estimated to be about four years old at the time. In 2025, Jack passed away from bone cancer, giving me firsthand experience caring for a senior dog with significant medical needs. In 2022, I rescued Penny, the white pup in my profile photo. Certifications & Experience • Cat & Dog First Aid (American Red Cross) • Experience administering oral medications • Experience caring for senior pets and pets with special needs • Experience caring for dogs and cats of various ages, sizes, and temperaments, including a large Rottweiler I believe every pet deserves patience, kindness, consistency, and individualized care. Whether your pet is energetic and playful, senior and slower-paced, or simply happiest sticking to a familiar routine, my goal is to provide dependable care while helping them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine, and I'm home much of the time. This allows me to provide regular companionship, potty breaks, feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and supervision throughout the day. Because I intentionally limit the number of pets I care for at one time, I am able to provide a more personalized level of attention and maintain a calmer environment for the pets in my care. Whether caring for pets in my home or in a client's home, I strive to maintain their normal routine as closely as possible. Consistency helps pets feel comfortable, secure, and relaxed while their owners are away. My schedule is generally flexible, allowing me to accommodate a variety of care needs, including daycare, overnight care, drop-in visits, and pet sitting in a client's home. Pick-up and drop-off service may be available depending on distance and scheduling. My dogs are part of the family and spend much of their time relaxing near us, on the furniture, or curled up on a lap. Visiting pets are treated with the same level of care, attention, and companionship while in my home. Dogs are welcome on furniture unless owners request otherwise. I intentionally limit the number of guest dogs I accept at one time to help create a calm, safe, and low-stress environment. This allows me to provide close supervision and a more personalized experience than many high-volume pet care settings. If you prefer your dog to be crated for sleeping, feeding, or when unattended, I'm happy to accommodate as long as a crate is provided. Visiting dogs should be reasonably housebroken, with exceptions considered on a case-by-case basis for puppies and special circumstances. Meet-and-greets are strongly preferred whenever possible before services begin. They allow me to learn about your pet's personality, needs, and comfort level while helping determine whether my home and care style are a good fit. When caring for pets in a client's home, I respect both the pet's routine and the owner's home, providing dependable care, companionship, exercise, and attentive supervision. I believe every pet deserves patience, kindness, consistency, and respect. My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable environment where pets can feel relaxed, secure, and well cared for while their owners are away.

About: What sets me apart is my deep, hands-on experience raising animals from their earliest stages. I have over 10 years of experience caring for pets, and all of my own animals—a dog and two cats—were adopted from shelters and raised by me. This has given me strong instincts for understanding behavior, building trust, and creating a calm, safe environment for animals of all temperaments. I’m especially comfortable with young pets, helping them adjust to new routines, reinforcing positive habits, and providing consistent care. I’m also very attentive to each pet’s individual needs—whether that’s extra patience, playtime, or a structured routine. Because I treat every animal like my own, you can count on reliable, compassionate care and clear communication while you’re away. 🐾 Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. Since I’m currently not working, I have full availability and a very flexible schedule, which allows me to provide consistent, attentive care any day of the week. I already structure my days around caring for my own dog and two cats—feeding, walks, playtime, and maintaining a calm, clean environment—so adding additional pets fits in seamlessly. I’m able to accommodate different routines, whether that’s early morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening care, and I can adjust my schedule to meet each pet’s specific needs. Safety and trust are my top priorities, whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home. I take time to understand each pet’s routine, personality, and any special needs so I can provide consistent, stress-free care. In my home, I maintain a clean, calm, and pet-safe environment with plenty of supervision, structured feeding times, and regular walks or play sessions. I’m mindful of introducing pets slowly and only if appropriate, and I make sure each animal has a comfortable space to relax. In a client’s home, I respect their routines and follow all instructions closely—from feeding schedules to preferred walking routes and house rules. I keep the space tidy, provide updates with photos, and make sure pets feel secure in their familiar environment. I’m very attentive to safety at all times—secure leashes, monitoring behavior, and keeping a close eye on health or any changes. My goal is to make both pets and owners feel completely comfortable and confident in my care. 🐾

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Pleasant Hill
Five stars!!! Katerina was amazing. She just had her first walk with my hundred pound pure muscle German Shepherd mix. She came in with confidence and provided structure immediately. She calmed him down by giving him commands and treats and surprisingly he didn’t jump all over her like he normally does to guests. She gave him an awesome walk provided the cutest photos and I can tell will be the perfect structure he needs for walks. Super excited to book her for reoccurring walks in the future.

I wanted to write a new review since my last review was in May when I had my first walk by Emily. I wanted to come to rover and give an updated review. Emily is extremely caring and responsive. She gives detailed updates, sends cute pictures and takes really great care of my dog Ronnie (who is high energy and strong). I feel like I always can rely on her and will continue to use her moving forward as one of my dog walkers. thank you Emily for being so great.

We have had wonderful experiences working with Kelly. Our dog hasn’t had much exposure to new people and can be a bit nervous around strangers, but she was incredibly patient, kind, and understanding. She took the time to help our dog feel comfortable, and we were so impressed with how quickly trust developed. She was also extremely communicative, keeping us updated and answering any questions we had, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. In addition, Kelly has been very flexible and willing to help us coordinate dog sitting coverage during an important time for our family. Her reliability, professionalism, and genuine care for our dog has truly stood out. We are so grateful for her help and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, compassionate dog walker or pet sitter!

Máire has been walking our senior pittie for a few weeks now and I can really say Máire has been doing a great job. Super communicative. On time. And my dog loves Máire. My dog can be pretty people selective when it comes to actually liking people and she never has a problem leaving with Máire. Maire is very understanding of my dog’s senior shenanigans and her health problems that have caused her to slow down as she’s gotten older. I have continued to re-book with Máire consistently.

Selena S is amazing ! I needed help after I injured my ankle and couldn’t walk my dog Vito! Selena was so great in helping me feel comfortable about her walking my dog Vito. Selena is reliable, studious in the way she made contact for the times that was scheduled and great with Vito! Vito took to Selena immediately, he has great instincts! When she was schedule to come, I would tell him a few minutes before and he would stare out the window for her arrival! I would highly recommend her and be grateful to have her back again when we needed!
