About: We always had pets while I was growing up, mostly dogs and cats. I first adopted a dog on my own when I was in my early 20s, a beautiful chocolate lab named Riley. When I got engaged to be married, we rescued a small dog, Niko - our first baby. Niko sadly passed away in 2023 at the age of 17. She is greatly missed. In more recent years we brought Huckleberry into the family as a small puppy. He is a wonderful Great Pyrenees/Border Collie mix. He was Niko's best friends. We have always had pets; dogs, cats, birds, rats, etc. I am recently divorced and missing being around Huckleberry every day, and I would love to meet your beloved pet and would enjoy a check-in or a walk. I am currently doing consulting for a variety of companies in the medical technology space, providing me plenty of time to hang out with your dogs. Weekend days are the most wide-open, but during the week I also have plenty of time each day. I cannot host pets in my home and am available to drop-in and pick up dogs for walks from a client's home. Any care during a check-in or walk would be through gentle care and support, and hopefully some fun for all. I will talk with the client about any specific needs and requests.

About: Hi There! My name is Kristi and I’ve cared for dogs (family dogs, friends/family dogs, and now our own!) for the last 15+ years. A little about me—I’m a Bay Area local, grew up with German Shepherds and have experience with owning and caring for large breed dogs. We currently have a 4 year old German Shepherd mix who we absolutely adore. He is friendly with other dogs, babies and kids, and has enjoyed a fur sibling when we’ve fostered in the past. I’ve volunteered at The Tri Valley Animal Shelter for about 4 years (dog walking), and have also volunteered with the Bay Area German Shepherd Rescue, where I’ve fostered 2 dogs (including one 4 month old puppy). Whether it’s strolling the streets, playing catch at the park, or simply just showering your pup with love and treats—I’m there! Hope to meet you and your pet soon! I value time management, dependability, and responsibility. I work from home so my schedule is flexible, and am happy to adhere to your dogs usual schedule/routine. I take our dog out at least twice/day, with a long walk in the mornings and afternoon. Our dog Ziggy is extremely playful and friendly and would love a friend to walk/spend time with. I’m happy to crate your pup if that’s what they are used to and you’d prefer with another dog in the house.

About: I have one French Bulldog, ZaZa who is three and a tiny poodle mix, Blake, who is 2.5! Blake has lived with me throughout most of my college experience ever since he was 2 weeks old. I trained him by myself while also taking care of zaza from time to time! I just graduated from UC Berkeley, and I am currently looking for a part time job, but as of now I am completely free to focus on caring for doggos! I also have my dog Blake at home with me, so I am open to fit with your schedule. Blake is an energetic dog, so I like to take him out on 3-5 walks everyday. I also take him to the dog park once a week to help release his energy and interact with other dogs. I have plenty of toys at home, and training treats! Since Blake is a poodle, and he has long curly hair, I have a grooming kit at home as well that we use once every two weeks!

About: I worked for 18 months in a boarding facility for cats and dogs. I am comfortable with all ages of pets. I can administer medications. I have experience with reactive dogs. I personally have two senior cats and an 8 year old dog. I have been dogsitting and catsitting for six years. I am a full time student but have a large amount of flexibility between classes and am completely free on the weekends. I will keep my calendar updated. I do not take pets into my home as my dog is reactive, however I am very thoughtful in the homes of others. I am happy to walk familiar routes or try something new with your friend. I will always do a meet and greet before a long time stay to ensure me and the animal can bond. I can work with your schedule.

About: I've always been able to read animals very easily. I can pick up on their body language and am able to quickly tell what they need, whether that's a break, some water, or just a little extra attention (or if they want some space!). I'm comfortable with small to medium-sized dogs from all age ranges, and I adjust to each animal instead of treating every walk the same. I think pets are truly a gift to this world and deserve every ounce of respect. I'm a full-time product designer and I work from home, so my schedule is very flexible. I don't have many meetings, which means I can usually step away for a walk or a drop-in during the day. About: Animals have always been my passion and your pet's well-being will always come first. I work in a very timely manner and am proactive to let you know about how your pet is doing! I split my time between providing services on Rover, and working at Contra Costa Animal Services. A portion of my proceeds from bookings is donated to the shelter each month.🐶🐱💕 I have open availability 7 days a week, Sunday - Saturday, with earliest appointments at 8AM and latest at 8PM. I keep my calendar updated regularly. Caring for pets in your home requires trust and respect. I keep to the main community areas of your home and require access to one bathroom. Supplies such as leashes, collars, harnesses, treats, etc. that you provide will be returned back to their original location. Keys can either be left in a hidden lock box or on my person - I take care to properly label and safely store any keys to ensure they are returned when my stay is over.

If you prefer your dog to be crated for sleeping, feeding, or when unattended, I'm happy to accommodate as long as a crate is provided. Visiting dogs should be reasonably housebroken, with exceptions considered on a case-by-case basis for puppies and special circumstances. Meet-and-greets are strongly preferred whenever possible before services begin. They allow me to learn about your pet's personality, needs, and comfort level while helping determine whether my home and care style are a good fit. When caring for pets in a client's home, I respect both the pet's routine and the owner's home, providing dependable care, companionship, exercise, and attentive supervision.
