“Valerie is wonderful to work with. She is prompt, reliable and truly loves animals. I felt completely comfortable with her walking our dogs. She asked many questions about them and took time observe their behavior and gave them yummy treats. Would definitely recommend Valerie!”
“Allison really saved me…I needed help last minute and I’m so lucky she was available! I could tell from the minute she met my Poppy that my girl would be in great hands. Knowing Poppy was going on long walks and getting updates and adorable pictures took a lot of stress off my shoulders while I was working.”

“Felix was a wonderful dog walker and support for our housesitter while we were away for 9 days. Our dog took to him right and away, and if you said “Felix,” our dog would race to the gate wagging her tail :). Felix was prompt and responsive on texts…we are so appreciative to have found him!”

“Andy is a lifesaver! She stepped up in a moments notice when our Stella's needs changes. Stella was very well cared for and we got updated photos all the time. You'd be very lucky to use Andy. I know we will be again, often, in the future.”

Let me brighten your dogs day with a visit while your away. I’m now a semi-retired scientist, spending my time between art making & dog walking/sitting. I have nothing but time to spend with your special friend. At this time I do not offer any dog sitting in my home. I do hope to offer this service in the near future however.

I have two yards one with a pool and one without a pool, both yards are fully fenced. Our dogs typically hang out in the yard without the pool when we are not outside with them Dogs are allowed in our pool if their owners are open to swimming for exercise!

About: I've raised my 5 year old beagle-terrier rescue since he was 7 weeks old and my cat since she was 1.5 years old. Pets are so special and I always lead with care, tenderness, and a sensitivity to their routines. I have experience with potty training, oral medication administration, teaching basic commands like "sit" and "shake", & working with diverse breeds/sizes/ages/ability levels of dogs & cats. My goal is to create a safe, fun, peaceful environment for all pets, whether that's an extended walk around the park or a chill night in watching their favorite shows. I'm finishing up my Doctorate at the moment, and should be quite flexible for walks and drop-in visits all week in the morning, afternoon and early evening! I am available for house-sitting during holidays! For my own pets, and for the pets I've cared for over the years, I strive to maintain their nutrition, exercise, & playtime routines as my first priority. Whether I am watching them for a few hours, or staying with them for several days, their comfort and safety is of the utmost importance! I value consistent communication with pet parents. For instance, photo/video updates on how their pets are doing, especially during an extended stay.
“Courtney is fantastic! She walks Summer during the week for me, and I couldn't be happier. She is reliable, communicative, and Summer absolutely loves her. Highly recommend!”

About: Lifelong cat person with a deep love for all things feline. I specialize in cat care and understand that every cat has their own routine, quirks, and boundaries. From shy kitties to bold bosses, I’m happiest earning their trust and keeping their days calm, clean, and stress-free. I currently own one cat who’s as clingy & loving as me, so if you have a needy, cuddly baby, we’d for sure be a perfect match! Though I am a huge cat girl, I have my entire life’s worth of experience with dogs too. I’ve owned yorkies, poodles, german shepherds, labs, and boxers. I also have experience with exotic animals as I’ve owned leopard geckos, a slide-botched lizard, and an argentinian black & white tegu! I currently have open availability. I am a third year medical student and have some time off to study for an upcoming board exam in July, so I can make any visit fit into my schedule! I prioritize keeping pets comfortable by sticking closely to their usual routines, especially for cats who thrive on familiarity. In a client’s home, I make sure feeding schedules, litter box care, playtime, and any medications are handled with consistency. I respect each pet’s personality, whether they want engagement and play or quiet companionship, and I never force interaction. I keep spaces clean, monitor behavior and appetite, and provide regular updates so you always know how your pet is doing. My goal is to make your time away as stress-free as possible for both you and your cat.
About: I grew up in a home full of animals — usually three dogs and a cat (or more) at any given time — and my family often fostered rescues. Over the years I’ve also volunteered at multiple animal shelters, so I’m comfortable caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I’m experienced with the day-to-day essentials like feeding, walking, playtime, cleaning and giving basic medications. Above all, I’m dependable, patient, and genuinely love what I do — keeping pets happy, calm, and cared for while their people are away. I currently have open availability and am hoping to meet some new best friends. I really look forward to meeting you and your fur family. I follow your guidelines in addition to my knowledge of safety from 20+ years of pet ownership and care experience. I am keen on observation and communication to ensure everyone is comfortable during your time away.
About: I worked at my local veterinary clinic in high school as a kennel technician for two years and have worked as a clinical technician at UC Davis for the past four years. I’ve also been a long-term dog walker and pet/house sitter for friends and family. Most of all I love animals! I’m a recent graduate and I’m living at home for the summer so I am very available, especially during weekdays. Id love to hangout with your pet! I have a large fenced off backyard and there are no other pets in the home. I used to play softball and love playing catch if your pet likes fetch! I’m also comfortable administering meds to dogs and cats.
“Mia walked our two dogs for us while we were away. She is friendly and responsible. She spent extra time getting to know the pups better. She was patient with my very shy dog. Thanks, Mia!”
