About: We always had pets while I was growing up, mostly dogs and cats. I first adopted a dog on my own when I was in my early 20s, a beautiful chocolate lab named Riley. When I got engaged to be married, we rescued a small dog, Niko - our first baby. Niko sadly passed away in 2023 at the age of 17. She is greatly missed. In more recent years we brought Huckleberry into the family as a small puppy. He is a wonderful Great Pyrenees/Border Collie mix. He was Niko's best friends. We have always had pets; dogs, cats, birds, rats, etc. I am recently divorced and missing being around Huckleberry every day, and I would love to meet your beloved pet and would enjoy a check-in or a walk. I am currently doing consulting for a variety of companies in the medical technology space, providing me plenty of time to hang out with your dogs. Weekend days are the most wide-open, but during the week I also have plenty of time each day. I cannot host pets in my home and am available to drop-in and pick up dogs for walks from a client's home. Any care during a check-in or walk would be through gentle care and support, and hopefully some fun for all. I will talk with the client about any specific needs and requests.

About: My life has always been my dogs. I have been taking care of dogs and other pets my entire life and it's truly my life's purpose. I have experience with all breeds especially elderly chihuahuas and timid breeds. No breed is too difficult for me. I have experience with rescuing and fostering for the past 15 years as well as volunteering at shelters. I've been exposed to all different backgrounds, personalities, sizes and breeds. No matter what all dogs are good dogs it's just matter of giving them the attention they need and that's what I'm here to help you with! I'm an avid hiker and walker for my two boys and will customize play time and amount of exercise to your baby. I'll make sure you get pictures and updates and can promise I'll do anything to make sure you furry child has a doggone good time! I have a flexible schedule currently and will be attending school in the spring. At the moment I am available mostly between 11am-10 pm Monday-Saturday. I can do mornings on occasion or Sundays if necessary. Don't hesitate to ask and I will always see what I can do. My dogs get fed twice a day and get their preferred treats. They get daily walks and 2-3 hiking adventures a week. They are very different temperaments and energy so I am used to tailoring their exercise routine accordingly. I will care for your pets in a similar way or as needed and agreed upon during our communications. I am very in tune and attentive to what your pets needs are. I will respect the rules set forth by the client and most importantly make sure your pet is cared for and truly enjoyed their time. Benjamin did a great job taking care of Oberon. I really enjoyed the silly pictures he took of Oberon while they played in the park. Megan was wonderful taking care of my dog, Teddy, and staying at my house for a long weekend. I could tell Teddy was a happy boy and getting lots of snuggles and attention. Davina and her family were excellent caregivers for Cloud and Princess. Davina was great communicating with us while we were gone. Our home looks just as it did when we left, except better because she brought in packages that had been delivered by Amazon and placed the mail on the kitchen table.
