About: Hi, my name is Amanda. I am a 34 year old animal lover! I grew up on ranch property with my family. I rode horses, and we had dogs, cats, chickens, a pig, goats, even donkeys! I currently have two sphynx cats, but I love all animals :) I currently work as a personal trainer at Equinox Berkeley. I have varied availability depending on my schedule, and my husband works a hybrid role, so sometimes pets are home alone for a maximum of 4 hours. My husband and I currently live in a loft unit attached to a house that is on a fenced property. There are no other pets on the property besides my cats inside our loft.

About: We've designed our experience a little differently than most. Rather than filling our home with multiple unfamiliar dogs, we intentionally host just one dog (or one family's dogs) at a time. We made this decision because we know separation can be hard. Our goal is to give every guest a calm, relaxing vacation while giving their humans peace of mind knowing their pup has our full attention. My husband Cameron and I have both been around animals our entire lives and have experience with puppies, seniors, bulldogs, and dogs with special needs. We also have two young kids (ages 3 & 6) who absolutely love animals and know how to be gentle and respectful around them. Whether your dog loves hiking, backyard sniff sessions, playing fetch, or simply curling up on the couch for a nap, we'll happily match their pace. We'll also send plenty of photos and updates throughout their stay because we know being away from your dog isn't always easy. We'd love to meet you both! We keep our schedule intentionally flexible so we can build our day around your dog's routine instead of expecting them to adjust to ours. Your dog's safety is our number one priority. Our backyard is fully fenced and we supervise outdoor time closely. Because we have young children, we've already built our home around safety. Medications, chemicals, and anything potentially dangerous stay locked away, and as a gardener I'm always mindful of which plants are safe and which aren't. If your dog joins us for a walk or an adventure, they'll always be on leash and right by our side. They won't be left unattended anytime, ever. We don't take guest dogs to dog parks or introduce them to unfamiliar dogs. We prefer controlled environments where we know exactly what's going on. We know leaving your dog with someone new can feel stressful. We take that responsibility seriously and will care for them like one of our own.

About: I got started dog sitting my coworkers great dane when she went off on work trips and found my love for having that friendly companion I work full-time monday thru Friday but I have a very flexible schedule on weekends and days during the week to find time to enjoy one on one time with your dog.
