Information Katey D. would like to know about your pet

The most important information to know is if the dog has any special needs or medication that needs to be taken. I also like to know how the dog interacts with dogs/animals not also living in the home.

A typical day

A typical day starts with getting up when the dog(s) wake up, letting them out to go to the bathroom, and then feeding them. After that it varies. I do like to get a walk in and then relax for a bit before maybe going out for another walk or sometimes going to a dog park.

I love all dogs!

Pet care experience

I love dogs, but don’t currently have one of my own. So, I like any opportunity to be around dogs. I got my first dog at the age of six. My second dog came at 21. I've been dog sitting since I was 12. I enjoy playing with dogs and taking them for walks. I love hiking and walks around the neighborhood or parks and it would be easy for me to bring a dog along with me. I don’t currently have a set schedule. I’m also a microbladist, so am only really gone if I have a client to see. I’m currently able to spend lots of time with any animals I’m watching. I follow the instructions of the client. Most jobs are pretty standard of feed the dog(s) and possibly other pets, make sure there is water, take for walks, but there are slight variations between each job and I follow what each client wants (or doesn’t want) done.

Katie was a lifesaver after my surgery. She was great with my big dog and my dog looked forward to seeing her every day!

Katey was fabulous walking our dog! She clearly loves dogs and is affectionate with them and she knows how to handle them. She's punctual and communicative. We will definitely have her back again in the future!

Katey is awesome! My dog Lola loves her and she has helped with training on walks. I cannot recommend enough.
