I work from home so your fury family member will always have a companion, playdate and snuggle bug! I pride myself on giving your doggy my undivided attention throughout the day. In my best effort to maintain a clean and happy environment for both our fury friend visitors and the humans, I have established hours of my services. Daycare Drop off/Pick Up Hours: 7:00am-6:00pm Boarding Pick Up Hours: 7:00am - 10:00am Extended care: - For Boarding - Daycare rate applies if Boarding visitor is not picked up by 10:00am. - For Daycare - Boarding rate applies if Daycare visitor is not picked up by 6:00pm. Holiday Rates: Jan 18, 19, 20, 2026 - MLK Feb 14, 15, 16, 2026 - President's Mar 28-Apr 5, 2026 Easter/Spring Break May 23, 24, 25, 2026 - Memorial Day Jul 3, 4, 5, 2026 - Independence Day Sept. 5, 6, 7, 2026 - Labor Day Nov 21-28, 3028- Thanksgiving Dec 19-26, 2026 - Christmas Dec 31- Jan 3, 2027 - New Year's * Important Holiday Rate Note * Rover no longer recognizes Easter as a holiday, however I do. If you book over the Easter/Spring Break week of April 19-26, your rate will be adjusted to the holiday rate.

Information Barbara H. would like to know about your pet
I do not take certain breeds because of my own personal comfort level and ability to control a situation. Unfortunately, for pitbull owners, you would be best suited with a different sitter. The more you are able to share on your dog's tempermant, habits, idiosyncrasies, etc., the better I will be about to provide a fun and safe environment for your pet. Important Note: Finally, if your dog is not house-trained, or prone to accidents, marking, chewing (even clothes) or excessive barking, I am not a good fit for your visit. I work from home and the barking is distracting. I understand separation anxiety is common so I ensure to pay extra attention to helping your pet adjust with a kind heart. However after 24/hrs, if your pet is still displaying the same behaviors, it will no longer be a good fit for your pet or me; as your pet sitter. Additionally, accidents and chewing cost me monies that Rover does not reinberse. If this occurs, I will call and request that your emergency back-up picks up your pet. Thank you for understanding. * Before booking, please include an emergency contact who can pick up you pet if we (owner/sitter) determine, it's not a good fit. *
A typical day
We will customize the type of walk your pet will enjoy most without stress or anxiety. From 5 minutes to 1 hour, 1 block to 4 miles... Trails, street, off-road, avoiding other dogs, etc. Also, if you prefer no walk, we can have a blast with toys, balls, pully's and games in a safe and secured fenced backyard.

My family and I love animals! It is such a reward to take care of your precious pup. Your furry friend with receive lots of attention! Services include lots of snuggles, walks, and of course so much love! Based on your requirements, we will work with you to create a personalized play-date specific to them. A typical day will include 1-on-1 time with your pet, lots of potty breaks, stimulating doggy games, tons of attention, and of course, every day will end with a fun Yappy Hour! Your dog's safety is our first priority. Our home is clean, dog-friendly, and free of harmful chemicals or objects that could harm your pet. Because your dog is unique, it is important for us to create a customized day-plan based on their personality, needs, and wants. We look forward to making memories and treating your dog as an extension of our family. It would be my pleasure to serve you and your pet!

Patrick and Journey had the BEST time at Barbara’s. They got to roam all over their house and yard and were spoiled with cuddles and naps. We are so grateful to have found Barbara last minute! Lucie immediately warmed up to her and her family. They were super friendly and put us at ease right away. Our dog got long walks even in the rain and they took such great care to dry her well and keep her healthy. The house is immaculate and perfectly step up for dogs. We will definitely use her service again if we are in the area!
