I predominantly work from home in finance and might pop into the office in FIDI once a week depending on meetings. I have a puppy of my own that I dote on all day so happy to add another to spoil into the routine.

I adore dogs and would treat your pup as if they were my own; free rein of the home, patio, couch, and night time snuggles. I have 3 large outdoor decks equipped with a sod patch with daytime access to a doggy doors so they’d have plenty of room to wander, sunbathe or nap if they’d like all within eyeshot. Happy to adapt to whatever feeding and walking schedules pup may already have. Unless otherwise instructed, pup would go where I go when I leave the house for adventures because no one likes feeling left out!

Please let me know if your dog has any sensitivities (loud noises, vacuums, tall men, other dogs/specific breeds, dietary) or preferences (ice in water bowl, sleep in bed, stairs vs elevator). If there is a specific routine you’d like adhered to please bring a paper copy to the meet and greet so I can ask any questions if I need clarity.
A typical day
I like to enjoy the view along with my coffee in the morning so I’m usually in a rocking chair on the deck. I take frequent play breaks with my puppy along with training bursts. Love tug of war and giving petties. There’s couches on every floor so everyone can nap with leisure. Amateur pet sleep photographer (not really but they’re so cute!).

I grew up with dogs since I was 5 and was able to foster for a San Diego based rescue throughout the pandemic. I’ve also been approved to foster for SF animal welfare since I moved up here summer of ‘22! My undergraduate degree is in neuroscience which forded me the opportunity to take a few courses on animal cognition which has helped me hone my skill as an amateur dog whisperer. I’m very much so a dog person and treat them all as if they were my babies! Happy to be in the company of senior or nervous pups and accommodate their needs, however, I have quite a few regulars that are all very sweet so it is unlikely that any new pups would be the only one in my home at any given time.

Amanda was great! I really appreciated the regular updates and photos— it made being away so much easier! My dog looked happy and relaxed and well taken care of! Would definitely recommend her!
Amanda looked after our 4-year-old Shiba Inu for a week and we couldn’t have asked for better care. She’s a genuine dog lover — you can tell straight away — and kept us updated throughout the whole stay, which really put our minds at ease. She’s super friendly, flexible, and just made the whole experience stress-free. Our boy was in great hands and we’ll definitely be booking again!
Amanda was great! Really easy to communicate with, frequent updates and took great care of Donnie!
As always, Amanda is the best! Our pup Ty loves staying with her and I think is a little sad when we pick him up! 12/10 would recommend and we look forward to boarding our dog with her again in the future!
