“Meghan and Jenny were the absolute best! They watched our Dog Squid for nearly 3 weeks while we were in Europe and we got the cutest updates every single day. I honestly think Squid was sad to leave them to come back home. He had so much fun and was so loved. We absolutely will use them again and cannot begin to describe how comforting it is to know your pet is in a loving home while you are traveling.”

“Ulunma and her family took wonderful care of Buddy. She was so sweet to send pictures of him during his stay. We’ll definitely request her and her family to watch Buddy in the future. Thanks Ulunma!”

“Mariola was very responsive and conscientious. She sent us photos and updates daily and answered any questions we had in a timely fashion. We felt comfortable leaving our two dogs with her as we could tell she really cared for them. We will definitely hire her again in the future!”

“He said he is not one, but Joshua is a dog whisperer! Daisy loved Joshua and she seems so comfortable with him. Immediately, she felt comfortable and safe when we dropped Daisy off. Joshua was professional and made sure there was a process to drop-off and pick-up. We received daily updates and photos. This was our first Rover experience and we cannot ask for anyone better! We will definitely consider Joshua for future boarding and sitting.”

“Robyn and her family were so wonderful for our weirdo dogs. They were incredibly accommodating to their idiosyncrasies / needs and patient with them. Robyn's little daughter is also very gentle and dependable around dogs which made us feel very comfortable leaving our dogs with them. Our dogs seemed like part of their family for the week we were gone. We also got daily updates and photos from Robyn. Will book again if they'll have us - I know our girls will be excited to go back!”

“Maya (Anchisa) was an exceptional sitter for our furry son. We took a 5 day family vacation and she watched our 17 lb dog. Maya sent multiple updates every day and seemed to like taking as many photos and videos of our little guy as we do! We feel very comfortable trusting Maya with our dog.”

“Christine was absolutely wonderful and accommodating my last minute boarding request! She was super attentive and made sure to communicate with me throughout Zosie’s entire stay. My pup had the best time and I can tell she was very well loved and taken care of while I was away. I will definitely reach out to Christine again for any future stays ❤️”

“Suzanne did a great job with our dogs. It seems like she was able to spend a lot of time with them, provided frequent access to her beautiful yard, and took good overall care of them. It was great to get a picture or two of them each day -- it's a small thing that makes a big difference if you tend to miss your dogs while on vacation. Her prices are magnitudes lower than what we would have paid to board them somewhere like Citizen Canine or Wag Hotel. I'm really glad that Rover exists and that we found Suzanne.”

“Zack was truly amazing!!! He is more than welcome to care for my fur baby anytime. I loved the constant updates and videos of him and my fur baby having a good time. Thanks Zack!”

“Joann was fantastic! She was reliable and communicative. My pup was happy and well-cared for when I got back—couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!”

“Ben and his family were great! They treated Neeka like their own dog and gave her lots of love. They took her to outdoor events and lots of walks. Neeka had a great time staying with them.”

“Our dog absolutely loved staying with Kate, Chris, and their family! They have a great backyard and gave her lots of hikes, playtime, and snuggles. We are so happy that our dog was treated like family while we were away.”

“Monica is the best! She couldn’t have been more welcoming. My dog clearly loved Monica’s family and her dog. They went on daily walks and played in the yard at home. Just perfect. Many thanks!”

“Maria and Kevan are wonderful!! They made our dog feel at home and I love all the photo updates I get from them. They’re very sweet and kind and I would definitely recommend them to any pup.”

“Hope is great with nervous dogs and makes them feel comfortable and loved. We booked her last minute for a week long trip caused by a family emergency, and it was so nice to not have to worry about our pup. Hope is very communicative and sends lots of pics and videos. Great sitter!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Canyon
Chad was amazing! This was the first time we'd ever boarded our dog and the longest time he'd been away from us so I was quite nervous about how it would go. Chad was very reassuring and managed our very high energy pup. Our baby was happy to see us when we picked him up but I think he would have been happy to stay at Chad's place even longer. :)
Thank you so much for taking care of our baby, Pixie. She means the world to is and we are always worried about leaving her. Thank you for letting us do a meet and greet ahead of time to put us to ease. Thank you for providing is a few updates and pictures while we were away. Drop off, coordination, and communication was a breeze. Looking forward to having her stay with you in the future.

Simply the best! Kelly took incredible care of our beloved cavpoo, Bijou. She was very thorough in the meet and greet, walked us through her philosophy of care, showed us in details the housing arrangements for our pup, and then gave us frequent updates during the stay. We will definitely be using Kelly again in the future!

They were a treat to work with! I was a little nervous leaving my 6-month-old Australian Shepherd because of how much energy and attention young Aussies require, but they exceeded all expectations. They took excellent care of him during his stay, including taking him on multiple hikes and making sure he got plenty of exercise and enrichment. It was clear when I got home that he was happy, healthy, and well cared for. I really appreciated the level of attention and care they provided, and I would happily recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and loving sitter.

Michael was truly unbelievable and definitely will be rebooking. He sat our 2 labs and they immediately took to him when we met him prior to booking - rare for our yellow, who sometimes gets a bit nervous around new people, but he was immediately at ease. Michael is clearly a chap who knows dogs and who dogs know is a good, loving person. Michael was also super responsive and kept us updated with photos throughout the stay. The dogs were clearly well settled and happy. THANK YOU MICHAEL! Truly. Dare I say, I can't wait to book again. Don't hesitate - this guy is a gem!

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
