Hi there, my name is Lauren! I’ve grown up with and cared for dogs regularly for at least 20 years. I truly love and being around all dogs. My 3 childhood dogs were gentle (yet sassy) toy breeds, I fostered and found the forever homes for a loving (but separation anxiety diagnosed) beagle and an ill but resilient Siberian husky in college, regularly volunteered with dog adoption agencies, and I occasionally dog sat for my brother’s large, rambunctiously goofy bernedoodle and a family friend’s smart and energetic schnauzer! I currently do not have a dog because I love to travel and the thought of leaving my furry friend at home is honestly too much for me right now! Perhaps like you, it’s hard for me to be away from my beloved family members. That’s why you’re on Rover, right? With this in mind, I absolutely empathize with whatever stressors are associated with leaving your pup and I’m here to help support you! Here are some quick facts I can provide about the service I can commit to: 🦴I work from home for most days, my partner also works from home too. Your dog will not be alone for long periods of time. 🦴I have my fair share of favorite close-by hiking trails, your dog will LOVE coming along for the journey each day! Is your furry one staying with us for a weekend? Great! We love hiking on the weekends! 🦴I can provide regular pictures and text updates whenever you’re missing your pup! Whenever I traveled growing up, I know those make all the difference. You deserve to have that ease! 🦴I just love cooking! I am more than happy to boil chicken breast/liver (no seasonings, of course) as a treat or to prepare any additional special steps in feeding your dog.
