About: Hi everyone, I work in mental/behavioral health and am saving up for graduate school! I am very passionate about animals, especially dogs and cats. I moved to California from the Netherlands a few years ago. I am looking for new pet sitting clients in the East Bay or San Francisco. I can do overnight pet sitting as well as walks or visits during the day. I also live right by Lake Merritt so if you live nearby, I’d love to take your dog on walks around the lake. A full loop around the lake takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes (a little over 3 miles). I can pick up and drop off your dog at your house. I have several years experience in cat sitting as well as several years dog sitting and dog walking (middle-aged Labrador, middle-aged German Shepard mix, and puppy Border Collie). I will start working swing shift in a few weeks so I will be available to pet sit during the morning/early afternoon. I can do overnight pet sitting as well as walks or visits during the day. I can take care of pets at my apartment but I don’t have a backyard so I would take them outside on a leash around the neighborhood or to a park or Lake Merritt.

We needed someone to watch him for a few hours over three consecutive days while we had construction happening at our house and my husband and I had unusual work schedules, and they were incredibly flexible and accommodating throughout the whole thing. Poe clearly had the best time staying with them: playing in their backyard, going on walks, and spending time with their family and kids. We have a baby on the way, so it was especially nice knowing he was getting some positive time around younger kids, and Lisa and Cameron said he did great with them. They also sent us adorable photos and videos every day, which we loved. Poe came home happy, tired, and ready for a very good sleep after getting so much attention and exercise! This was our first time having Lisa and Cameron watch Poe, but we would absolutely book with them again. They are such warm, friendly people and clearly great with dogs. I have a fenced yard that is split, boarders have been placed along the fence. This is to prevent fence fighting or becoming territorial. I have large water bowls I keep 2 outside. I refill the water ever 2-3 hours a day. I clean the yard with a pooper scooper three times a day. I spray the yard with cleaner and fly spray. I do this everyday 7 days a week. My dogs are usually outside from morning till night. I give them walks in between the day and I train my malinois a lot due to their high drive( trainer for 9yrs) . Always entertaining them and giving them something to do is crucial.

About: I have experience with cats who are particularly anxious, I am able to provide much more than just feeding and regular care tasks. I have experience with emotional regulation for anxious cats and dogs , and I’m able to provide extra attention through extended stays, diverse kinds of play, and overnight care. I also have prior experience with elderly dogs who need special accommodation. I work only 2 days a week, and have a very open flexible schedule at the moment. I can provide a wide range of services, my most notable experience is working with anxious pets who need extra attention and love! For dogs, I prefer to take dogs on multiple walks (ideally 3 walks per day) to encourage lots of activity, I can encourage socializing if needed. I have a school pickup around 3:00 PM, and my 6-year-old is home with me afterward. For boarding and daycare, I’m therefore best suited for dogs who are comfortable and gentle around children. I’m happy to work with each pet’s normal routine and adjust walks, meals, potty breaks, and playtime as needed. I take safety and consistency seriously and always follow each owner’s instructions as closely as possible. In my home, I make sure pets are supervised, comfortable, and given a routine that feels familiar to them. I’m careful with doors, entrances, leashes, feeding instructions, and anything else that could affect their safety. Since I have a 6-year-old child at home, I only accept dogs for boarding or daycare who are comfortable and safe around children. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and follow the pet’s established routine, including feeding, potty breaks, walks, medications if needed, and any house-specific instructions. I also make sure doors and entry points are secure before I leave.

About: I attended veterinary technician school at Carrington College and have 9 years of experience working with a wide variety of animals. I do this because I truly love it! I’m happy to take your babies on walks, down to the beach, and care for them as if they were my own during their time with me. I’m a part-time student and work from home, which means I have plenty of time to spend with your pets! Whether it’s a midday walk, a trip to the beach, or just some cozy companionship, I love taking breaks throughout the day to care for furry friends. For cats, I know that the best way to earn their trust is to respect their space—and I’d be honored to be their work-from-home buddy (or, let’s be honest, their loyal servant). Whether your kitty wants playtime, lap time, or just someone to admire them from a respectful distance, I’m happy to oblige! I live in an apartment, so I can accommodate small to medium-sized dogs or multiple cats for boarding. I ensure dogs get plenty of walks and exercise throughout the day. For safety, I always use secure leashes on walks and closely supervise all outdoor time. While I don’t have a fenced yard, your pet will get lots of attention, playtime, and care to keep them happy and comfortable!
