Hi. My legal name is Phuong and I also go by Rae. I've had dogs for the most part of my life (all adopted or given). I volunteered at a rescue group in socal so I'm fully experienced in working with cats and giving oral medication. I was chosen as the best 'scratch-giver' among all the volunteers by the most finicky cat in the rescue group (I know that by being the only one getting her affection). I also had volunteer work with rabbits at the shelter and let them out in play pen for exercise. Now I occasionally volunteer with PALS to give dogs vaccine, deworm and topical flea treatment.

Rae was terrific and treated our cats like her own. Our two kitties have sensitive stomachs and require very particular feedings, but Rae took it all in stride. She was friendly, approachable, arrived promptly, went above and beyond that ensure the kitties were well fed and well taken care of. It was great knowing they were in good hands while we were away. Thanks!
Great communication, Lola was well cared for and she helped take the garbage cans out and brought up the packages.

Schedule
I have a 9-5 job that I need to physically leave home. Therefore, I only accept boarding over the weekends with start day in the evening of Friday (morning is up to discussion). Besides that, I’m pretty much flexible and can take on last minute request in the same week as long as there is enough time to schedule a Meet & greet. My dog Laila has dog reactivity, so I understand how challenging it is to take care of special-need dogs. If your pet is boarded at my place, they will be separated and go through slow introduction.

Safety, trust & environment
Pets can enjoy napping on beds or snuggling on the sofa. Your dogs can roam freely in my apartment as well as the shared fenced yard under my supervision.

A typical day
Once I know your dog temperament, we can hike in the Natural Hillside Area or play at Bruce King Memorial Dog Park in my neighborhood. I also love taking dogs for a walk in the Albany Bulb and letting them sniff their new doggy friends.
