House and pet sitting is currently my full time job. I can stay with your pets full time when sitting for you. Including spending the night. I know over the past few years many pets have gotten used to having someone home almost constantly. My schedule is mostly wide open. I can spend as much time with your loved ones as they need while I house sit for you. "Clingy pets" are no problem for me. I'll make sure they get the attention and love they want and need. Including but not limited to belly rubs, head scratches and bedtime stories.

Information Nicole J. would like to know about your pet
I would love to hear about how your pet(s) came to join your family, health history and anything you may consider a quirk. I love a quirky dog! Including things or people your pets are scared of,or are aggressive towards. Tell me about any games or toys they like to play with. What's a normal day like for them including feeding, sleeping and "bathroom breaks" routinrs? Do they have any special ways to signal any of these? We can discuss these during a meet and greet before booking to see if I am a good fit for your family. Thank you for taking the time to read this. I hope to hear from you soon!
A typical day
I keep them on their normal feeding and walking schedule and administer any meds or health actions they may need. I can inject insulin or other necessary meds. Giving pills isn't a problem. I have experience with bladder expression if that is needed. Any type of special diet isn't a hassle for me. I've dealt with raw food, kibble and can mixed, supplements, probiotics, weight gaining meals, fresh cooked meals and medications with food to name a few types. Whatever your pets need and however often they need to eat I can handle. Knowing any food allergies or intolerants will be helpful too. I take pride in providing services as per the instructions of each client, as I know every pet and family has their own unique needs. I can take them on their normal routes, to local dog parks or on hikes for their daily walks. Ensuring they adhere to the requests of the pet parents when interacting with other dogs or people. While I'm house sitting I can collect mail/deliveries, water plants and place garbage cans out for weekly pickup.

Pet care experience
Pet parents new to Rover can get $20 off their first booking with me, using my promo code NICOLJ26487 !!! I have been caring for both cats and dogs in a personal and professional setting for 20+ years. I will give your pets the attention, care and love they need while their parents are away. I love all animals! I am open to caring for hamsters, birds, fish, reptiles and amphibians as well. I can't wait to take care of your family like they were my own. A lot of the pets I care for previously lived in abusive or neglectful homes, or even on the streets. I understand the issues that come along with this and assure you that your pet will feel comfortable and safe with me. I give animals their space to get comfortable and used to me being in their home. I try to let them lead in how we interact. Giving them as much personal space and alone time they need while still keeping an eye on them. I'm good at anticipating what will help us become friends. It can be stressful not only for the animals but for the owners as well trusting a stranger to take care of your loved ones. Anxiety of leaving your beloved pets hopefully can be relieved by daily text and or photo check-ins if that will help or is desired. I am proficient but not certified in dog first aid/cpr. I am also learning dog massage. I am very calm in emergency situations and will manage any issues rationally and level headed.
Reviews

Nicole was absolutely amazing! She’s a true dog person—warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about animals. Our dog is older, with some anxiety and medical needs, and Nicole handled everything with incredible care and professionalism. She followed our detailed instructions to the letter and made sure our pup felt safe, comfortable, and loved while we were away. What really stood out was how much our dog adored her. She took the time to play with him, snuggle, and give him the attention he needed to feel at ease. We also appreciated the thoughtful updates and sweet photos she sent throughout the stay. It gave us so much peace of mind. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. Nicole went above and beyond and we feel so lucky to have found her. Highly, highly recommend!

Nicole took great care of our 2 dogs and 2 cats, sending us frequent updates and great photos. She left our house neat and clean, as well. She made fast friends with our dogs who were happy to see her when she returned.

Nicole was great! After much persistence, my somewhat hesitant cat warmed up to her and got all the cuddles, which was a relief.

Nicole was awesome! She was communicative, took great care of Milo and my home. I'd love to have her back any time.
