About: I’ve worked with many different animals, including cats, dogs, birds, hamsters. I love working and caring for them. Patience is needed to make your furry friends feel comfortable. I’ve worked with many large dog breeds, which include malamutes, German shepherds, pitbulls and even Akita’s. I’m currently work during the day so I am free most evenings Sunday through Thursday. I have more availability on Fridays and Saturdays during the day. I make sure the pets are in safe areas for them so that they don’t get into anything that isn’t safe. I make sure to give them space but follow them just in case. I want them feel comfortable in their space.

About: Animals have always been an immovable part of my life. I grew up on a small goat farm in northern california surrounded by llamas, ducks, geese, 3 beautiful cats, 6 dogs, and of course, goats. About: We only take 1 dog to be cared for at a time with our small family & havapoo Ollie. I work from home during the week so there is lots of time for cuddles and walking. My teen is eager to help! I work from home full-time, so provide cuddles, attention and lots of walks. In the evenings our family of 3 + havapoo Ollie will care for your fur baby just like ours We can follow whatever protocols you would like for your pup. We have a fenced in deck and provide plenty of walking and exercise at the open field down the hill if your pup is up for it.

About: I co-owned two dogs with my neighbor as a child. My jobs was to walk and feed them. The first was a Saint Bernard who "decided" he wanted more space and fresh air and moved to the country. Later came a Golden lab. Then, we had milking goats, chickens, emus and rabbits... I have 2 cats I love dearly. They love walking around the yard showing me their favorite finds; usually it's a whole of some kind. I walk a lot on my own a Marin and can talk your furry well-behaved pet around your neighborhood and beyond. I am very dependable, always on time (unless major accident happens) and love all furry friends like my own pets. Available most days and/or week-ends between 8 AM and 9 PM for in home visits or dog or cat walking. Some cats like to go on walks too! I can ease both you and your furbaby’s anxiety by staying with them in their home and checking in with you regularly with photos and videos. Boarding your furbaby elsewhere is very stressful for them, especially considering the limited amount of care and physical activity. I will give them all the love and attention that they need and take them on adventures around the neighborhood (with your permission); it really helps to refocus and calm them down. Let's make sure your furbabies are as happy and comfortable as possible while you're away. I also provide basic training and understand common behavioral issues such as reactivity and separation anxiety. I love working with puppies, helping to socialize them and teach recall is critical at a young age. Be sure to tell me all about your pet's quirks and needs so that I can help. I have over 10 years of professional pet-care experience, plus I have cared for many types of animals. I took some time off from petsitting when I took on the full-time responsibility of caring for an elder dog. Our family’s Siberian Husky, Skye, was truly the best companion and adventure buddy. She lived a happy, active life for 16 years! She is dearly missed and will furever be with me in spirit. About: Animals have always been an immovable part of my life. I grew up on a small goat farm in northern california surrounded by llamas, ducks, geese, 3 beautiful cats, 6 dogs, and of course, goats. Through life on a farm, I have developed an immense love of all creatures, furred, feathered, and scaled. I have also had lots of experience caring for sick and injured animals. I have volunteered with both wild animals rescues, and the humane society. I'm currently in school, so my schedule allows me time in both the mornings and evenings to spend time with your wonderful pets. My weekends are also free. About: I’ve cared for dogs in a wide range of situations, including senior dogs, special-needs pups, and dogs recovering from injuries. Most dogs love nature, and it's exciting to see them perk up on walks at the sound of chirping birds, rustling brush, or a skittering lizard. There are great dog-friendly nature paths in Novato and San Rafael that give the pups both sniffing and social opportunities, so they come home tired and content. What I’m especially good at is communication. I pay close attention to a dog’s eyes, ears, posture, and energy, because they tell you so much before they ever make a sound. I use a gentle “dog voice” (yes, the sweet baby-talk voice) and clear, steady cues, because many dogs respond quickly to warmth, tone, and consistency. Even anxious or shy dogs usually soften when they realize they’re being understood. I’ve also cared for large dogs, and my Labrador retriever loves having big buddies to play with. No matter the size, age, or temperament, I’m respectful of each dog’s individual needs, and I make sure they feel safe, seen, and truly cared for with plenty of affection, attention, patience, and exercise. I currently work from home, and I have a (mostly) flexible schedule. I like to get out with my dog two times a day for 2+ mile walks on local trails and parks. I respect people's spaces, and I am good at following detailed instructions for homes and their pets. I have references and happy clients to tell you about it!
