I’ve raised a puppy of my own and have been professionally paid to house-sit and care for multiple dogs (up to five at once). I'm confident with big dogs (up to 100 lbs) and always tailor my care to each pet’s personality and needs. I’m currently in a flexible, open-schedule period and available most weekdays and weekends. “Ariela was brilliant, she looked after our 6 year old bulldog for 10 days. Our dog gets stressed out when boarded which leads to the dreaded bulldog skin issues every-time we go away. This was our first time booking drop in visits with Rover and it was great. Joey was looking better than ever when we returned all down to Ariela’s care. She followed his skin and eye routine and administered his medication daily. I always enjoyed getting update of him playing at the local dog park and getting lots of attention at home. About: Hi! I have always loved animals. I have had dogs my entire life since we adopted my first dog, a black lab, from the humane society when I was 5. I have also volunteered at the humane society for many years on a regular basis. I am home full time right now and my priority is giving the animals I look after the best possible care and of course lots of love! I just want them to be happy and comfortable with me. About: Animals have always been an immovable part of my life. I grew up on a small goat farm in northern california surrounded by llamas, ducks, geese, 3 beautiful cats, 6 dogs, and of course, goats. Through life on a farm, I have developed an immense love of all creatures, furred, feathered, and scaled. I have also had lots of experience caring for sick and injured animals. I have volunteered with both wild animals rescues, and the humane society. I'm currently in school, so my schedule allows me time in both the mornings and evenings to spend time with your wonderful pets. My weekends are also free. House sitting is my specialty as I do not have too many pet responsibilities at home, giving me more time at yours! I’ve grown up around big dogs, old dogs and cats, and special needs animals, so i’m used to an array of care requirements. I love to walk dogs and cats, as well as visit the dog park as many times as they ask. About: We’re a good fit for dogs who are over 1 year old, 15 lbs or more, spayed/neutered, fully potty trained, and happy sleeping solo (no human beds or bedrooms). We don’t accept dogs who require pee pads or bark/whine when we are out of sight. These basics help keep the vacation smooth for everyone. Pick up/drop off: 6:00am - 7:00pm. We live with a wonderful Lab named Lincoln (no current job). We are able to do walks (and runs!) through the Watershed, Deer Park, Headlands and love to take photos. For longer stays, we do field trips (including a secret dog pool in Petaluma 🤫). We try to switch each day up to provide variety. Backyard with plenty of room and recently installed dog run. Fenced from road. Also a hammock should our guest prefer a more leisurely day. ;)

About: I have cared for many pets in my life (a dog, cat, tortoise, 4 birds, 2 fish, and 9 hamsters to be exact) so my love for animals is a huge part of who I am! I currently live with my Ragdoll cat, Myko, and he is my bestie. I have taught him tricks, we go for walks on his leash or in his stroller, and we start and end every day with playtime. About: I have 2 dogs of my own at home! We love spending our nights after work at the dog park or going on hikes together on the weekends. Most of my friends and neighbors ask me to take care of their pups whenever they travel and it’s something that brings me a lot of joy! I work from home so my schedule is flexible. I can take breaks and go for long or short walks throughout the day. I am most free before work, during my lunch break 1:00-2:00pm or after 5:30pm I am very attentive to the needs of each pet and make sure they feel relaxed in any situation. I have dogs of my own at home and understand the importance of keeping them leashed and safe.

About: I've had dogs in my life since I was a middle schooler. Between my family dogs and dogs who have lived in my home since then I have been responsible for at least 7 dogs, of all shapes, sizes and demeanors. I've kept moody Dachshunds, energetic Shelties, even tempered Retrievers and even rescue Pitbulls. I love hiking and getting outdoors, and bringing a canine friend along. I currently have one dog of my own, a peppy rescue mix, and he is my best friend I am available to dog/house sit very regularly. I am an ecological land designer working most days from home with the exception of days where I need to do a site visit or connect with my team in person. I can pretty much work from anywhere with a good internet connection, so most days would be able to be around in case your dog needs more frequent walks or attention. In addition to dogs I love other pets and plants! If you have house plants, a veggie garden or other plants that need some watering or attention while you're away I'll be able to help in the department as well! I work from home most days, so I am able to be flexible around a pets needs regarding feeding, walks, and medication. Ocassionally I do have to leave home for work, and that is typically up to 4 hours. We have one dog at home and since we don't have a yard, we typically take him up on the ridge to walk, or to the Red hill Dog park or San Quentin beach. These are great places to have some fun exercise

I’m very attentive and loving, so your dog will get plenty of affection, playtime, and walks, along with consistent routines for feeding and care. I also prioritize safety and follow any specific instructions closely, including medications if needed. I’m a responsible and respectful sitter. I treat your home with care and make sure it’s left clean and just as you left it. My goal is to be someone you can fully trust with both your pet and your space.

“Last time we went away, we used a non-professional catsitter who , due to a family emergency, was only able to visit once in 4 days. This time, we loved getting photos of our cat weaving her way between Em's legs, nuzzling her face, etc. during twice-a-day visits. We were so glad to know that our kitty was fed and watered and that she had used her litterbox and it was not filthy (the rest of the house was quite dirty and messy, and we are very sorry about that and grateful that our catsitter fulfilled her obligation despite that).
