I currently have had a wonderful cat named Latte for 6 years and I couldn't live without her. I am available during the day to walk your dog or take it to play at a dog park, or check in on your cat and give it plenty of love, food, and attention. I make sure the pets I look after are cared for like my own, and their safety, comfort, and security are a top concern of mine.

About: I’ve spent more than 35 years caring for cats and dogs, including two German Shepherds, four Shelties, and my current cat—who adopted me after I found her asleep on my bed one day and she simply never left! I understand that every pet has a unique personality. Some cats want affection and playtime, while others feel safest hiding, and I always respect their boundaries while making sure they have fresh food and water, a clean litter box, and a comfortable environment. I’m equally at ease with dogs: I’ve trained dogs to sit, stay, lie down, and heel; I’m patient with teething, rambunctious puppies; and I love taking older dogs on relaxed walks where they can sniff and enjoy the world. What sets me apart is my experience, attentiveness, and genuine affection for animals—I take the time to understand what makes each pet feel happy, secure, and cared for. I’m self-employed and have a very flexible schedule, so pet care fits easily into my daily and weekly routine. I’m available for morning, afternoon, and evening visits and can often accommodate changes or special scheduling needs. About: Hello! My name is Karissa and I am a big animal lover. I've had dogs and cats my whole life, and have always enjoyed spending time with and caring for them. I have trained and competed in agility with my Australian shepherds, and I have worked with and trained dogs of all ages. I have also cared for and loved many cats (both my own and for clients and friends). When I played varsity polo for Virginia Tech, my team was charge of all aspects of care for our 16 horses during the school year. I have ridden and cared for over 100 horses since I was young. Through these experiences, I have administered medications, handled behavioral issues, fed a variety of foods, and cared for and diagnosed illnesses and injuries. My goal is to make sure your pets feel safe, cared for, and loved while their favorite people are away. Your pet should feel like they are on vacation too! I am available and excited to care for your pets on any schedule that works best for them! My schedule is quite flexible right now. Because I offer care in your home, I strive to ensure that you and your pets feel safe, respected, and cared for. I emphasize safety, privacy, cleanliness, and happy animals. Especially with the temporary change in caregiver, I believe it is extremely important to maintain the routine your pets are used to while you are away, with maybe a couple extra treats (with permission, of course) :) Above all, I adhere to the care rules and instructions given to me, because you know your pets better than anyone.

About: I have years experience watching friends and families dogs as well as my own 8 year old pit bull. I love all animals and would love to spend time with your doggy :) I am available weekday nights after 6:00 pm and full day weekends Saturday and Sunday. On weekends I am available to spend unlimited time with your pet. Your pet will be well taken care of. I will make sure your pet has the right amount of exercise, attention, and that their needs are met.

About: I grew up with my Australian Shepherd, who was part of my family my entire life, and I helped care for her throughout her senior years. I now have my own cat, Emerald, and my family recently welcomed a terrier puppy named Edna. I also have experience caring for friends’ cats, as well as a neighbor’s and family friend’s Chihuahua and a family’s Golden Retriever. About: I treat every dog like they’re my own. I stick to their feeding schedule and make sure they get the attention and care they deserve. I also love running, so if a dog is up for it, I’ll happily take them on a jog with me. I build my days around the pets I care for. I usually set aside specific blocks for walks, feeding, and playtime so nothing gets missed. It actually helps me stay structured and active throughout the week. I provide all pet care at the client’s home, never at mine. I follow their normal routine, keep their space clean and comfortable, and make sure they feel safe and cared for in their own environment.

About: Hi! I have always loved animals. I have had dogs my entire life since we adopted my first dog, a black lab, from the humane society when I was 5. I have also volunteered at the humane society for many years on a regular basis. I am home full time right now and my priority is giving the animals I look after the best possible care and of course lots of love! I just want them to be happy and comfortable with me. About: Although I have never owned a dog myself, I have several years of experience caring for family dogs. My sister has had a dog since 2016, and my mom got a dog in 2023. I regularly help care for them when my family is out of town, including feeding them on schedule, providing fresh food and water, taking them on walks, and making sure they are safe and comfortable. While I do not have extensive pet-sitting experience, I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs and caring for them with patience, love, and responsibility. I keep them on a secure leash at all times, pay attention to their surroundings, allow them time to sniff and explore, and make sure they release enough energy without getting them overtired.
