About: Hi, I’m Sam! I’ve had animals in my life for as long as I can remember—dogs, cats, fish, reptiles, birds, and even horses. Growing up in a home where animals were part of everyday life (my dad worked in horse racing!), caring for pets has always come naturally. Though I’m new to professional dog walking, I’ve been a dedicated dog dad for over 20 years, always having two dogs by my side. I walk my own pups every day and make all of their food from scratch—yes, they’re very loved (and very spoiled!). I’ve also regularly pet sat for friends and family and am confident with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I used to have a Great Dane/St. Bernard mix, so handling large or giant breeds is second nature to me. I am always off on Fridays and Sundays. I do not offer boarding in my own home, but I am always happy drop in to your place for play or potty breaks. About: I grew up on a farm in Australia and I’m a lifelong dog lover with a rescue dog of my own. I have shelter volunteer experience in which I’ve been trained to handle a variety of dog breeds and temperaments. It would be my pleasure to take care of your dog as I would my own! I love to run also so feel free to request some extra speed on the walks for high energy pups! I work remotely as a software engineer with a flexible schedule. I’m usually busy with meetings early morning but after that I’m all yours! Weekends can be less predictable but happy to work in times with some notice. I’m a shelter volunteer so have been trained in how to create safe environments and identify risk factors. I will always put the dogs well being first and take on board all requests and advice from the owners.

About: I grew up surrounded by all kinds of pets and have owned both cats and a dog as an adult, which was a Dalmatian—describe them as eternally young. :-) I'm an active individual whose current living situation doesn't allow pets so would love to help with yours! Those of you in the Larkspur/Greenbrae area may recognize me from walks on the local paths where I’m able to greet many dogs. While on vacation, I also seek out opportunities to contribute or volunteer for various animal causes, which you’ll see in some of my pictures. I'm retired so my schedule is generally flexible unless I'm out of town for personal reasons. Choosing a more limited radius at this point enables greater schedule flexibility, and to be close to local resources should a need arise. I will pet sit in your home so that your fur baby has all of their normal comforts and routines. I realize not all owners have a fenced yard for a dog so understand the importance of daily walks. I always welcome the opportunity to meet or chat about your needs in advance, so that you may advise of any behaviors for which I'll need to be more mindful. I care for fur babies of at least one year of age. NOTE: I only have experience providing meds to dogs, not cats. Due to allergies, I’m unable to sit in homes with cigarette smoke or with whole house carpeting (in bedrooms is fine). I'm a neat, tidy person who's very responsible--former homeowner.
