About: Hello! I have cared for animals of every kind since I was able to hold a leash, brush a cat, and collect chicken eggs. I'm a Mill Valley mom, educator, and current owner of two sweet Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. I have owned cats, dogs, chickens, rodents and birds. I keep bees as an active beekeeper. I am experienced with medically fragile animals and am comfortable giving all meds, including subcutaneous fluids. I raised a Bichon puppy and later cared for her as a 12 year old senior dog. I have fostered and helped to train 4 rescue dogs through the Milo Foundation and frequently pop by to volunteer walk Milo dogs. I am an executive who works from home so I am at the dog's side non-stop and have the flexibility to take several walks a day. I'm also a 5 minute drive to Blackie's Pasture for longer walks. All around my neighborhoods I have taken care of dogs. One of my favourite things to do is go on a hike with a pup! I have flexible hours and would love to help out and take care of some pups! As stated above I am extremely flexible. No commitments as it is summer! I love being in nature and have had a lot of free time. Overall pretty open! I've had San Francisco (city) customers before, but mainly Marin County residents. Pups will have loving care around the clock. I’m retired and my wife works out of the house. Safe and secure environment with 24 hour monitoring. Secure fenced in yard with doggie door. Pups understand very quickly that we are there to take care of them and they feel safe and secure with us.
About: I adore dogs! I have cared for many pets and homes throughout my life, from small dogs and puppies to Brittanys and Labs. I am very experienced in walking dogs, playing with them, and providing their basic food and water needs. I genuinely love dogs, and can't get enough of them. I have also cared for birds, fish, and other small pets such as hamsters and Guinea pigs. I am an expert caretaker of homes, both apartments and houses. I have served as a long-term housesitter for friends and families, and while I am not a homeowner, I have rented numerous houses and cared for them meticulously. I also absolutely love gardening and am quite experienced, so I am more than happy to provide gardening and landscaping maintenance. I am a professor, so I have a lot of flexibility in the summer months until mid to late August. During the summer months, I teach a bit and do some activities, but I am able to be home as much as needed to care for pets. I am careful and conscientious with pets. I make sure they have enough to eat, drink, and enough exercise. I am good at taking dogs on walks, and I follow owners' instructions to the letter.
