About: I have had dogs my entire life and spent the last year working as a veterinary technician, and worked alongside ranch dogs for two years before that. About: I started pet sitting by taking care of my friends’ cats and dogs whenever they travel. As a travel lover and a pet parent myself, I know how important it is to leave your pets with someone you can truly trust. I always want my own cats to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while I’m away, so I try to give my friends’ pets that same level of care and attention. I can run outside with the dogs 3 hours per day. I am a homebody and work online, so for me it's heaven to be inside the home with beautiful pets. That is actually my idea of a dreamy day. I would be a great sitter for an animal who wants lots of company or who isn't used to being alone. I can be out less than 2 hours per day if requested. I could walk a Dog more than their used to even, if the owners thinks it will make them happy. I am used to preparing special foods for Dogs and Cats, being sure animals don't escape. I would say I go into Mommy mode once I'm with the animals. When there are more than two pets in the house, if I snuggle with one, I will then go to snuggle and give attention to the other one. If the other animal loves playing fetch, I may snuggle the animal, then play fetch after. I don't play loud music around the animals. Although I also don't like loud music when I'm alone .

Megan is great with my shy kitties. They've warmed up to her after only 2 bookings. She even found and cleaned up the places where one of the cats threw up. I didn't think to mention where the cleaning supplies were. She also suggested something to give cats help with hairballs. She clearly knows and cares about cats. For the reports, she always takes lots of photos and lets you know how your cats are doing. I feel confident my cats are well taken care of when Megan is cat sitting.
I've been so lucky to find someone who understands my sometimes fearful/reactive senior rescue dog. Marielle is so kind and did all the right things to make introductions with my dog a positive experience for her. There are very few other people I would trust to take my 65 pound shepherd/bully mix out on a walk and not have to worry. Having another person I know Winnie trusts makes life so much less stressful when I have busy weeks at work, and Winnie is so happy to have a new friend to hang out with.
We’re very happy with the care Anjali provided for our kitties while we were away. She was responsible, reliable, and very loving with them. She sent us regular updates and photos, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. At one point, I reached out to her because I needed her to check something specific with their litter box and automatic feeder, and she responded right away and took care of it. Communication was great throughout, and we felt very comfortable knowing our kitties were in good hands. We would definitely recommend her!
Genna was amazing! She took great care of my cat Nutella. She brushed her, played with her, fed her and gave her lots of love. She offered to meet before and noted down everything on Nutella routine. Also a bird got into the apartment and Nutella killed it, and Genna took care of everything, even vacuumed. Genna was amazing, I highly recommend her

sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
