“Michael did such an amazing job caring for our dog while he was out of town! He took him for walks and also spent time playing with him in our yard so that he wouldn’t be lonely while we were away and sent us the cutest pictures so we knew that our little fluffball was doing ok! He also went above and beyond by bringing in our mail and packages and taking out our trash cans on collection day. Highly recommend Michael - he’s responsible, kind, and very easy to work with!”

“I highly recommend Tara. She took care of our dog Whiskey. She is amazing with dogs. Whiskey was so excited to see her and he loved his walks. She cares for your dog like it is her own. She goes above and beyond to make sure your dog is taken care of.”

About: Hello! My name is Gabrielle but I go by Abby. I am a dog lover, as I'm sure you are too. I am in Russian Hill, San Francisco where I don't have any pups but grew up with two Bernese Mountain Dogs. I have grown up caring for big dogs and walking them consistently. I am very active and LOVE to walk - even more so, with a dog buddy. I am comfortable walking and caring for multiple dogs at a time as I have lots of experience doing so. I am very responsible and detail oriented and a great communicator. I can promise you that your pup will be in great hands. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions!

About: A little about me: I'm a lifelong critter lover - dogs, cats, rats - you name it, I love it. For 4+ years, I ran with dogs at an animal shelter in Chicago (PAWS, for those who are familiar), allowing me to work with dogs with all types of breeds and temperaments from nervous, anxious dogs, to high-energy assertive dogs. I'm a careful observer around any new animal (particularly dogs), making sure I understand their personality, comfort level, and needs. Most of my time is spent walking, hiking, or running with best friend and roommate of 2+ years, Fennec. I adopted him from a border collie rescue to be my running companion and since then, has humbled me (daily) with his endless enthusiasm and energy. He's the bestest boy. What to expect dog-sitting or walking: My approach will be to make your dog comfortable, happy, and fulfilled. In our initial meeting, I'll ask a ton of questions to understand your dogs likes, dislikes, schedule, and personality. Then, I'll make sure to fill in where I'm needed (couch cuddles, play time, sniffy walks, etc.) - giving your loved one (your dog), a great experience while giving you peace of mind. Afterwards, you can expect pictures and a quick summary, so you know exactly how the visit / walk went. If a walk isn't enough for your dog, consider this: I own a border collie, so I know how hard (i.e., impossible) it is tire out a high-energy dog. If your dog is like mine and needs WAY more than a walk (or three), let me take them on a run at their distance, at their pace. I'll just ask that you have the proper equipment (harness, leash) for your pup and I've got the rest. If you’d like me to run with your pup, select dog walking services and note you’d like a run. Note that running is a flat $5 surcharge (for either a 30 or 60-minute run). If your dog is friendly / likes other pups, I'll bring Fennec along too. #packrun Pet care fits right into my day to day right now. I'm currently taking a break from work, so I've got a lot of flexibility with my schedule and can work around whatever days and times suit you and your dog best. I tailor my approach to each dog and each owner. Before anything starts, I like to get a sense of your dog's routine, habits, and preferences, along with any specific instructions you have, and I'll work around all of that. Whether it's a walk, a run, or sitting in your home, my goal is to keep things as close to your dog's normal routine as possible so they feel comfortable and cared for the whole time.
“I was super happy to find Sally for a dog walk on short notice. She was super attentive to details and I was completely at ease that my pup would be safe with her. She was very easy to communicate with and my dog clearly loved her. Thanks Sally!”

“Mari is AWESOME!!! Mari is the first dog walker I ever used. My dog is very needy and has his ways and routines. Mari adapted to his needs immediately. She is gentle. She loves to talk to my dog. (He understood everything she said.) She is conscious and in-tune with him. Mari put me at ease. (I’m a little overprotective of my pup.) I will use her again and again. I feel he’s safe with Mari and it gives me a feeling of relief. Thank you!”

“Page was so great with our dog Bagel - Bagel was super excited to meet her and tired after their walk. She was on time, and very communicative as well which I appreciated. Thanks Page!”

“Daisy was amazing!! She took such great care of our rottie/lab mix. She was responsible and was always on time. She came twice a day for his daily walks and showed Milo so much love! Would highly recommend Daisy to care for your pet! Thank you Daisy!!”

“Our pups love Amber! She walks them twice a week and they get sooo excited when she’s here. She’s consistent and super easy to communicate with. We’re very lucky to have found her ☺️”

About: *great references available upon request. Please feel free to reach out with any questions.* Hi there! I have been in the animal care business my whole life. Growing up on a ranch taught me a lot about horses, dogs, cats and the outdoors. I am very knowledgeable in terms of animal health and behavior. I have been entrusted with many great animals in my lifetime, and it's so rewarding to get to know each individual pet and their families. Having raised my own German Shepherds, I was able to apply and learn what I needed to create a good all around dog. My personal dogs have given me and edge in how I communicate with each dog that comes into my care. I understand all dogs are different and I like taking things slow, and building trust and confidence in the long run. I take pride in providing the greatest care to each individual pet. I have references for house/pet sitting, dog walks, basic dog grooming, Kennel Management, Dog Breeding, ranch caretaking, barn manager, foreman, assistant to horse trainer, from/horse care/feed/lay up. I also have background in House Cleaning, in home caregiving and Personal Assistant roles. I am accustomed to taking care of my own personal pets daily. I check their food/water in am and pm. and usually lunch time. I take them out for constant bathroom breaks, play time, exercise. Double checking doors, locks. Safety First. Ensuring all and any gear are working well, (collar, leash, harness etc) I reach out to you periodically during visits / walks/ boarding/ sitting. I am available for any questions, comments, and concerns.

About: I provide a calm environment in-home and exciting fun-filled adventures outside. Marin is my backyard and I love taking pups on hikes and to the beach. I have a 6-year old dog full time and she is great with all dogs. I've taken care of all kinds of dogs, from those that love to play to older dogs that need more one on one time. I'm comfortable with on and off-leash walks and am very attentive to dogs with unique triggers that need to be managed. I will provide a loving, caring environment with your dog where they can feel right at home and be their best self. I'm currently working part-time so I'm available throughout the day and evenings. I'm available weekdays and weekends. I live near a massive trail system, dog parks and the beach, so can customize your dog's stay based on what they love most. I have a 6-year old friendly dog, Chilli, in home to keep your pup company. I take Chilli on 2 big adventure walks each day and adjust that schedule for other dogs as needed, including additional potty breaks and play time. Dogs can be crated or not, depending on how they're most comfortable. Chilli roams freely in the house throughout the day and I often keep our patio door open for her to lounge in the sun.

Carter’s been great with my dog, Nellie. She’s a senior with changing needs, and he always adapts to her energy level and what she needs that day. He’s consistently on time, keeps me updated after every walk, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and thoughtful dog walker.

Marielle was exactly who we needed to help with our dogs; we're so grateful to have found her! She confidently handled our two dogs walking through the neighborhood, including one that has some leash aggression and one that is prone to eating whatever he can find. She was punctual, communicative, and reported all the details of the walks each day - including photos! We knew our dogs were in good hands; we'll definitely be contacting her again for future walks. She's the best!

Caroline was great to work with when coordinating a walk for my dog, gave very special attention to my dog (and got some great photos from their walk), and by the time Caroline brought my dog back from her walk, my typically shy dog was already ready to go out on a walk again with Caroline!

After a meet and greet I asked Mariia to walk Dakota for me when I had to work late and I knew Dakota was in good hands! She is reliable and very communicative! She sent me multiple photos and kept me updated. Dakota was shy at first as she usually is, but Mariia gained her trust quickly and Dakota had a great walk while I was at work :)

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
