About: I've always had pets and we are always volunteering to help our friends and recently a friend suggested I do Rover. We have a sweet yellow lab named Lucca ("the big easy") and he is great with ALL dogs. We fostered 7 senior dogs through Muttville in SF from chihuahua to English Mastiff and got them all adopted. We love puppies but hope they are potty trained. We live in Southern Marin with lots of places to walk. My son (12-yrs) is also an avid animal lover, and we never meet a dog we don't try to say hi to and often end up narrating for. Hope to see your furry baby soon!! I'm currently working part-time so have plenty of time to take care of your pup. Also, I would be open to dog-walking if you find you need extra help during the day. While I do not have a fenced yard there are several trails around Tiburon and neighborhoods to walk so happy to take your baby on walks with Lucca and I and if Sam is home from school, I am sure he will join us too!

About: I have 20 years experience with bully breeds, and all the health issues that entails, but I’m open to sitting any breed (they are all good dogs!). I live at the beach, so your pup will get long beach walks and/or mountain trail hikes during the day, then sleepy downtime at night. It’s a pet paradise! Update 2/26: I just adopted a mastiff, so I’m not doing any in home boarding until I get her settled in her new home, but I’m still happy to do drop ins or walks for other dogs. Your dog will enjoy morning beach walks or trail hikes, or walks in a stroller if your pet has mobility issues. Daylight hours are spent being active, and evenings are resto-relaxo. I have a fenced and private front and backyard with fake grass for your pet to use. No stairs to navigate - single level home a block from the ocean. About: My wife and I own our home and have large yard in sunny Corte Madera, about 15 miles north of San Francisco. I previously owned a veterinary hospital and pet boarding facility, so working with dogs is a life long passion of mine. Senior pets are welcome!!! I've had San Francisco (city) customers before, but mainly Marin County residents. Pups will have loving care around the clock. I’m retired and my wife works out of the house. About: I have done about 50+ petsits including 3 farm sits (MY FAVOURITE!) I love hiking, long walks and snuggling at home with the fur babies. I was outside of the US and have met clients outside of the app while traveling, that is why my reviews here are not recent. I can run outside with the dogs 3 hours per day. I am a homebody and work online, so for me it's heaven to be inside the home with beautiful pets. That is actually my idea of a dreamy day. I would be a great sitter for an animal who wants lots of company or who isn't used to being alone. I can be out less than 2 hours per day if requested. I also respect the space and preferences of animals. I think about making them happy first, not them making me happy. I love long walks and making sure Dogs who need to run off leash, do so. I also love playing games like tug of war and fetch. I'm able to spend several hours per day to play with and excercise the Dogs. I research about each breed before I accept the sit and I now have experience with different breeds. I send photos and videos every day. You may have to tell me when you think it's too much. I filled up a lot of my memory on my phone and solid state drive with the pets I've taken care of, but I can't delete the photos. It's like deleting photos of your kids. Not possible. I could walk a Dog more than their used to even, if the owners thinks it will make them happy. I am used to preparing special foods for Dogs and Cats, being sure animals don't escape. I would say I go into Mommy mode once I'm with the animals. When there are more than two pets in the house, if I snuggle with one, I will then go to snuggle and give attention to the other one. If the other animal loves playing fetch, I may snuggle the animal, then play fetch after. I don't play loud music around the animals. Although I also don't like loud music when I'm alone .

walkers on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
