About: I've been the default pet person in my circle for years. When someone goes out of town, I'm the call they make. Over the years I've had turtles, lizards, fish, a hedgehog, dogs, and cats. I had a rescue dog from the Korean meat trade, which shaped how I approach animals that need a little more patience or time to warm up. I'm good at that. About: I’ve owned dogs and cats for most of my life, from a three-legged Rottie named Goose, to Golden Retrievers, to Buster, a beloved mutt who loved long walks in the woods. About: I grew up with dogs and have owned 3 dogs in my adulthood including two mixed-breed rescues from Milo and a pure-bread yellow lab at 6 weeks. My last dog was a husky who I had for 13 wonderful years, so I’ve had hands-on experience caring for dogs through every stage of life, from energetic puppies to senior companions. These days, I don’t currently have a dog of my own, which means when I care for yours, they’ll get my full, undivided attention in a true 1:1 setting. I have a fenced yard, but will only allow dogs outside if they are being watched. Dogs are always allowed on furniture, but if you prefer them not to be, I will be sure to reinforce proper training to them.
