1. Leonard W.
“Leonard was amazing with my dogs. They’re usually high anxiety and a bit skiddish, but they loved Leonard from the beginning. He took them on a long hike and sent tons of photos. He’s prompt and very reliable.”
2. Colton K.
“This was my first booking with Colton and he was terrific. Accommodating on short notice, communicative, timely, and very kindly gave my dog his medicine in addition to his walk. So appreciate his help! Would absolutely book again.”
3. Micah R.
“Micah took such great care of Gerald (we call him Jerry), our 10 year old Tibetan Mastiff when we went to Hawaii for a week. Jerry is energetic so he can be a lot to handle, but Micah kept us updated and we returned home to see our fluffy friend so happy. We would definitely recommend this nice young man! Thank you Micah!”
4. Christina W.
“Christina is a reliable, responsible and loving dog walker who I would not hesitate to use again when we go out of town. She was excellent about communicating with my daughter (who was staying with the pups) how the walks went and any concerns she had. She was particularly good about meeting the needs of both of my dogs, one a youngster and the other a slower senior. I appreciated the time she took to come over to my house to meet the pups and me, learn a bit about their personalities and give them time to meet her. She was also prepared with some great questions for me about the neighborhood and the dogs’ routines. This is my first time using Rover and Christina is an excellent ambassador and representative for them.”
5. Osa F.
“I’ve been using her to walk my pup and it’s been perfect! She’s timely and sends me pics - Lulu is one happy dog I’ll definitely keep using her!!”

7. David A.
“You will not find a more experienced person to walk your dog than David A. He is genuine and authentic and loves his work. I am a dog trainer in the north bay and David has joined me on several walks. He brings to the table many years of animal experience. He is compassionate and also understands dog behavior. The dogs love David. He is very aware of his surroundings, thus setting every walk up for success. David is very upbeat and professional, you will not be disappointed!”
8. Kirsta M.
“Kirsta was great!! My dog Otto (who can be very shy) was instantly in love with her! She sent pics on her walks and made me feel totally relaxed knowing Otto was well taken care of while I was out of town!”
9. Heather H.
“Heather is one of the very few people I let watch my actual human child, so you imagine how good she is with all animals. She is empathetic, compassionate, loving and firm. I have yet to meet any living thing, human or animal, that did not respond to HeThers amazing energy, warmth and love.”
10. Alexandra L.
“Alexandra is everything we’d hoped to find for our family of four (2 dogs, 2 cats, all loving but HIGHLY idiosyncratic). The pets are 100% our babies, and as soon as I saw how much care and excitement Alexandra put into greeting them and following every aspect of their routine, I realized we finally found our long-desired Fairy Godmother sitter. She regaled us daily with photos and videos of them living their best lives (like seriously - I think they might have been a bit disappointed when we came home). Everyone was fed, walked, brushed and played with. It was clear she saw and adored each of their personalities as we do, and when we came home, I have NEVER seen them all so relaxed. I am also a relatively scrupulous housekeeper, and I always feel like I have to clean my entire home the second I return from vacation because the animals seem to take our absence as license to eject fur onto every surface. But I opened the door, and everything felt as clean (dare I say even cleaner?) as I left it. I absolutely cannot praise or recommend Alexandra highly enough, and I hope this is the beginning of a long and fruitful pet nanny-ship! ❤️❤️❤️😻😻🐶🐶🐾🐾🐾”
11. Gage G.
“Gage is so great! My dog is truly hit or miss with humans and the moment Gage walked in the door, he was immediately excited and happy to have found a new friend. Gage is always on time, incredibly thoughtful and polite and a true dog whisperer. He’s taken such great care of my boy while going through postpartum recovery and I couldn’t have made it the past four months without him. I would never chose to go with anyone else but sadly, we are moving and I hope my dog will remember that I can be fun too! I highly recommend Gage to anyone, you won’t regret his immense kindness and respect for animals, five stars all around!”
12. Joe R.
“Joe is gr at with my dog and was available on short notice. He gave me some great training tips. I'm definitely working with him in the future and you would be wise to book him for your pet! Thank you so much Joe!”
13. Jenny P.
“Leaving town without my companion has always been hard, but knowing that Jenny was there to step in to care for Riley made me feel so much more at ease. Riley had daily walks, fun playtimes, and companionship. Through regular updates and photos, it was clear that Riley was enjoying every moment!”
14. Jeffrey S.
“Jeff is incredible and our pup loves him. Knowledgeable, super friendly and reliable. Plus, we Got photos from our walk which we absolutely loved!”
15. Ashley A.
About: Hi there! My name is Ashley. I’m a 28 year old Santa Barbara local, UCSB alumni, and current Physician Assistant student. I’m an animal lover and have had many dogs, cats, reptiles + more! I have been dog sitting on and off for the past 10 years. I have experience with both small dogs and large as well as puppies to senior doggies. I have experience training basic commands and I’m not afraid to clean up a mess. I prefer to be outdoors and would love to take your pups on hikes, the beach, or a mellow walk around the block! I have my own transportation and have a flexible schedule. I am also open to helping around with other chores/errands as needed. Thanks for considering me as your pet sitter! I will be working/studying from home and can check up on your pets frequently throughout the day, any day of the week, just let me know your preferences. I like to know as much about your pet’s routine and habits so I can best mimic what they would be doing in a typical day.
16. Cat W.
“Cat is a top notch dog walker! She is very caring and attentive. She listened to our concerns and she is very knowledgeable about dog behaviors. I feel that she is a great communicator, and felt at ease having her take care of our dog. It is clear that Cat is a huge dog lover, and I am certain we will continue to book with her!”
17. Larissa Q.
“Our two labs stayed at Larissa's house for 1 week. She has a huge back yard in which they were able to play most of the day and they had so much fun. She's very caring and loving towards our babies and would send us photos and give us updates on them daily. She did an amazing job!! Will always trust Larissa to stay with our babies whenever we need to go away. Thank you!!”
18. Cheryl S.
“Cheryl was absolutely amazing with Redford! She gave detailed updates the whole time and we could tell how great of care he received when we got home. So grateful for her and will definitely book again!”
19. Katelyn N.
About: I'm a lifelong cat and dog owner and currently have 3 cats, a freshwater aquarium, and 50+ (mostly) healthy houseplants. Currently taking a hiatus from 10 years of working in the corporate world and looking to spend some extra time with animals while I plan my next career path. Volunteered at the East Bay SPCA for several years with cats and dogs and went through several behavioral + training programs. I've used pet sitting services myself many times and am sharing the information I personally look for: I'm reliable and have common sense and will not do things that will make you scratch your head and wonder "what on earth was she thinking", great people and pet skills, will send daily pictures + update, non-smoker, don't wear perfume, will play with and pet your animals as little or as much as they like, maintain food and water dishes daily, happy to remove shoes in your house, follow strict safety protocols when coming into contact with multiple pets in a day and always sanitize in-between. Cats: I have experience with cats of all ages, from young kittens to senior cats that require several medications a day. I have personal experience with breeds like Bengals and the unique temperament and care they require as well as with semi-feral cats and the extremely unique temperament and behaviors that they can present with. I'm extremely practiced with pet-sitting for shy cats, super friendly cats, and everything in between. I'm highly skilled at reading cat body language and haven't gotten so much as a scratch in several years, I do not push boundaries and prioritize the cats needs and comforts above all else. Comfortable giving eye, ear, and oral medications. Dogs: I have experience with all ages and all types of breeds from sleepy labs to extremely energetic and high-needs corgis and border collies. I have a modest amount of dog training experience and am a firm believer and practitioner of positive reinforcement training. Comfortable giving eye, ear, and oral medications and fishing things out of their mouths that they shouldn't be eating! Fish: I've had a healthy and thriving freshwater aquarium for ~5 years. Currently have corydoras, tetras, chili rasboras, snails, and amano and neocaridina shrimp. I'm comfortable with water changes if we can go through the procedure in explicit details and am otherwise happy to feed at whatever interval you prefer and make sure the intake, filter, heater, light, etc are working properly. Plants: I'm comfortable with just about any type of plant and the vast majority of my collection is thriving (philodendrons, scheffleras, rubber plants, money trees, alocasias, peperomias, syngoniums, etc). I have personally struggled with calatheas (no surprise there!) but can confidently follow any care instructions and will send photos if anything looks off so I can troubleshoot asap. I'm all too familiar with the signs of an unhappy plant and the beginning of an infestation and you will not come home to any unpleasant surprises. I currently have full availability and will proactively communicate any expected changes to my schedule. I'm a quick, reliable communicator and will provide care at the same time of day to ensure consistency and minimize stress for your pets while you're away from home. The safety and comfort of your pets will be my priority. While I'm taking care of them they will have my full attention (ie I will not be on my phone while they sit and stare at me) and I will be fully engaged with them at whatever level they enjoy. I'm happy to sit and pet couch potatoes or activate their "zoomies" mode to get some energy out and provide mental stimulation.

“Meg is the best of the best! Very knowledgeable, professional, and trustworthy. My dogs and cats love her! As a vet and someone who has worked with animals for over 20 years, I’m picky about who I entrust my animals with and Meg has always exceeded my expectations. So happy to have found her!”
