“Second experience with Ellen was as good as the first. Our Betsy goes to her eagerly and comes home happy and tired. In between, fun! As demonstrated by pictures and video. Thanks Ellen!”

“Sara was just wonderful with our little Chihuahua mix Toaster. She provided lots of pictures and updates, took him on many walks, and appreciated his affectionate Velcro-dog tendencies. I look forward to booking her again in the near future!”

“Adriana was such a wonderful sitter for our dog Raffie! We received lots of daily updates and cute photos. Raffie loved all her walks and snuggles. We couldn’t be happier with the care she received and we will definitely be booking with Adriana again!”

“Alvin and Ashley were fantastic with our dog, Yoda. They kept us updated with frequent messages, lots of photos, and thoughtful details on how everything was going. About: Hello! I have cared for animals of every kind since I was able to hold a leash, brush a cat, and collect chicken eggs. I'm a Mill Valley mom, educator, and current owner of two sweet Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. I have owned cats, dogs, chickens, rodents and birds. I keep bees as an active beekeeper. I am experienced with medically fragile animals and am comfortable giving all meds, including subcutaneous fluids. I have fostered for years with Marin Humane and Milo as well as professionally pet sitting through Trusted House Sitters and Home Exchange in addition to Rover. My home is warm, safe, child and animal friendly. My yard is fenced and my children (ages 8 and 14) love share in the caring of animals. We all care deeply about animals and will give yours all the love they need. We would love to have your dogs join our pack for awhile! I am an educator and off for the summer. I have plenty of time to care for your pets along with my own. My kids and I stay local and have adventures and relaxing downtime all summer long. I have a large, fenced yard that includes hill side. My house is warm, cozy, pet and kid friendly. My dogs sleep on my bed and I'm fine if yours want to also. We love neighborhood walks and throwing balls in the backyard.
“Sonia is the best pet sitter I could ever dream of for my precious boy! My miniature dachshund, Deuce, stayed with Sonia for 12 days- the longest I’ve ever left him alone. She put my anxious puppy mama heart at ease by sending SO many photos and updates- I cherished every single one! Most impressively, I let Sonia know that it was my baby’s first birthday mid-stay and to give him a squeeze for me. She HANDMADE a beautiful doggie birthday cake and threw him a puppy birthday party ?? It was so far above and beyond the call of duty but it really made me feel like she cares for my baby as much as I do. Deuce was sad to leave at the end of his stay and can’t wait to come back!”

“They did an amazing kept me updated with pictures and how he was doing. When I came to pick him up he didn't wanted to leave. Will definitely book again. Highly recommend them to take care of your fur baby.”

“Tempted to gatekeep, but Summer is the best! She's responsive, sweet, and flexible, and it's clear she really cares about dogs/animals. Butters received so much love and attention, and he got along great with her retriever Benson. I will absolutely be asking her first when Butters needs a sitter again.”

“Ellen was an amazing caretaker for our dog. She made sure he was comfortable with her 2 dogs before we committed to a few nights of him staying at her home. She sent daily updates and pictures, which I always appreciate. She and her partner were the best company for our dog! Will call them again.”

“Our dog had an amazing time with Diana! We got frequent updates on their fun adventures from the dog parks to running around her house and helping with homework (lol), and much more! Honestly our dog has been so well behaved after spending ~6 days with Diana. Highly recommend to everyone!”

About: I'm the friend who everyone asks to take care of their dog (including senior dogs). I love our furry friends—and appreciate every families trust. I raised a Bichon puppy and later cared for her as a 12 year old senior dog. I have fostered and helped to train 4 rescue dogs through the Milo Foundation and frequently pop by to volunteer walk Milo dogs. I am an executive who works from home so I am at the dog's side non-stop and have the flexibility to take several walks a day. I'm also a 5 minute drive to Blackie's Pasture for longer walks. I have a super clean home. The dogs are allowed everywhere. I have a very clean, safe home. I also have access to popular dog parks/walks. I pay close attention to dietary restrictions, etc. And when it comes to passing another dog on leash I always ask if the dog is friendly. I'm a mom to an 11 year old—I care for dogs like they are kiddos.

“Henri had a great weekend at Paulina’s! She came out to greet us and then took the leash and introduced Henri to her home-he was so comfortable with her from the start. Our dog has hardly been away from us in his 7 years and I was a little nervous about leaving him with someone new, but I soon realized I had nothing to worry about. Paulina is a very relaxed person and sent updates and adorable photos each day. It made me happy to see him look so at home with her. Don’t let her lack of a backyard discourage you-Henri was happy and tired when we picked him up. We will call on her whenever we need a dog sitter for when we visit our daughter in SF. Paulina was an absolute lifesaver and we are so happy to have found her!”

“Sylvia and her family took great care of our golden retriever Riley. Drop off and pick up was easy and accommodating around our schedule. They provided many pictures of their daily walks with other dogs, trips to the mill valley dog park, Riley swimming, and relaxing. Our dog is a girly girl and is also our shadow and I know Sylvia took great care of her and made her feel welcome.”

“If I could give Matt a 10 star.... I definitely would!!! He was so great with my lil pooch!! If you need a dog sitter.. and you want a hassle free, great sitter.. pick Matt!!!! We will be back. Roxie says woof!!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Belvedere Tiburon
Ellen came to my rescue after my other plans fell through on short notice. I appreciated her quick response and that she arranged a meet up for that afternoon. My dog is elderly and losing his hearing but I know he was in excellent hands with Ellen. I would definitely book again.
Our dog had an amazing time with Diana! We got frequent updates on their fun adventures from the dog parks to running around her house and helping with homework (lol), and much more! Honestly our dog has been so well behaved after spending ~6 days with Diana. Highly recommend to everyone!

Raffie had a wonderful stay with Adriana and her family. This was her second time there and I can’t imagine anyone taking better care of her while we are away. Adriana was very accommodating and communication was excellent. We received daily pictures and updates and saw how much fun Raffie was having. Thanks again!!

Siena watched my 2 large dogs for a few days on a last minute work trip. She was very easy to communicate with and very responsive and accommodating. She sent cute photos of my dogs on walks and snuggling on her couch - they had the best time! The dogs can’t wait to come back :)
Karen is great! She kept my dog Olive over the weekend recently. When Olive and I went for the meet and greet, Olive made no growling noises(which she usually does either new people), and was prancing around smiling while we were there. She sent lots of pictures and took great care of Ms Olive. Her dog Tulip was also a generous host. Don’t hesitate to book a stay or walk with Karen 🌸🐾

Mariia and Ethan were just flat out fantastic! They immediately sent pics, videos, and written updates about my dog. Each time they were showing or stating where they were, what they were doing, and how he was responding. They did this morning, mid day and evening. It was comforting to me for having that while I was away. But the literal SMILE on my dog’s face said it all. They were so caring, thoughtful and detailed in his care as well. The added bonus was my meatball dog was returned fit, calm and happy. I could not give a higher recommendation. Will definitely be using them as my go to. They are wonderful!
