About: Hello! Let me pamper your furry friend while you're away. I work from home three days a week and am generally around on the weekends so I can take pups out pretty frequently. I usually only take one dog at a time so they have lots of one on one attention. They are welcome on furniture and will sleep on my bed unless you don't want them to. I was raised with all sorts of animals and have had dogs of my own since I was 8. I worked a lot with a Boston Terrier rescue group in Southern California where I fostered 10 -12 rescue dogs. I have watched many dogs through DogVacay and Rover. I have a 9 year old daughter who loves dogs and is great with them. She and I like to do easy hikes on the weekends and lots of short walks during the week. I work from home Monday, Wednesday and Friday every week and am generally around on the weekends. So I'm set up pretty well to take pups Thursday evenings through Monday evenings. And I can do daycare any day of the week except Tuesdays and Thursdays. I can have someone walk the dogs on the days I go into the office if you need a longer term sitter I live in a house with an enclosed yard. Dogs will be let out in the backyard regularly and taken on short to medium length walks. I have a doggie door and water bowls around the house. Happy to care for puppies and seniors. Pups will get plenty of cuddles and short to medium walks.

About: I was born into a family that had two loving labs and have lived with dogs or owned my own (currently two lab mixes) ever since. I love dogs of all shapes, sizes and ages, and they love me. We just have a special connection - I know I can find one with your dog too that will make them feel comfortable while you are away no matter how long it may be. I've dog stat over the years for families of 1-4 dogs, for a weekend up to multiple weeks at a time. I'm flexible (work from home), clean, organized and respectful of client's homes. We always start our day off with a walk/play/adventure, take a nap around lunch and get out again in the afternoon evening for a double day! I have two fenced yards and plenty of places for dogs to nap and play. We're close to parks, trails and all the outdoor fun spots.

We have an older (large breed) Bullmastiff with many health issues so we can’t have just anyone look after him because aside from the usual TLC that any dog requires, he needs numerous pills on a timetable each day and sometimes trips to the vet-so we really need someone with a natural feeling for animals and good judgment. My husband and I will only travel at the same time if Meg is available because we know that our big boy is getting care as good as we ourselves could give him with Meg. She is communicative, respectful and responsive so we never have to wonder what is going on. We had tried a few other caregivers before we found Meg and the comfort we have with her level of care, attention to detail and judgment, make it so that we can relax when we’re away, knowing that he’s in the best hands.”
