About: Raised multiple dogs growing up, worked part time for a local dog sitting company as well personal clients for overnight dog sitting. All satisfied dogs and parents! My schedule is extremely flexible- so we are happy to host your pup even on short notice or in emergencies. As a dog parent, I understand that life happens! We have two incredible dogs that are friendly and love being around other dogs- we are happy to accommodate any and all of your dog needs- leash walking, yard, and crates as well! We both work in healthcare with alternating schedules. We will always have plenty of time and energy to give to your pet! Someone will always be available for their needs! In our house, pets are family. We also set basic boundaries for our dogs and the dogs we board. In our home, we expect our dogs to behave while inside- we will provide plenty of opportunities to get their zoomies out!

About: As a Marin County Native, I’m no stranger to the outdoors. Growing up I loved taking my dogs on long hikes, exploring the vast landscape of the Northbay. Professionally, I’ve been pet & house sitting for almost a decade. Primarily catering to a very private & discreet clientele, I am adept at managing long term or short term sittings under strict guidelines & conditions. When caring for dogs, I take them on two, 20 - 30 minute walks, one in the morning & one at night, as well an hour long dog park visit. Each dog is different & requires a specific routine, many of my clients have special requests, that are happily accommodated upon request. When sitting a clients residence, I provide quality care to all pets. Additionally, my policy is to leave the space better than I found it.

I study remotely with a flexible schedule, so when I pet sit at a client’s home, I get to spend most of my time with my furry companions😌 I play with dogs, I can teach new commands if you want, I walk them with full attention to them, I love to feed them and give all useful needed treats, usually I also brush them and try to give them what they use to have with their owners. We can go to dog park if they like it or vise versa to walk avoiding connection with other dogs if it needs. I can give them their medication in specific time) And of course I love them, I think that it’s very important for dogs as for people. My behavior is different with all dogs, because all of them have their own character and favorite/unloved things and their safety and comfort are on the first place for me.

About: Hello! My name is Karissa and I am a big animal lover. I've had dogs and cats my whole life, and have always enjoyed spending time with and caring for them. I have trained and competed in agility with my Australian shepherds, and I have worked with and trained dogs of all ages. I have also cared for and loved many cats (both my own and for clients and friends). When I played varsity polo for Virginia Tech, my team was charge of all aspects of care for our 16 horses during the school year. I have ridden and cared for over 100 horses since I was young. Through these experiences, I have administered medications, handled behavioral issues, fed a variety of foods, and cared for and diagnosed illnesses and injuries. My goal is to make sure your pets feel safe, cared for, and loved while their favorite people are away. Your pet should feel like they are on vacation too! I am available and excited to care for your pets on any schedule that works best for them! My schedule is quite flexible right now. Because I offer care in your home, I strive to ensure that you and your pets feel safe, respected, and cared for. I emphasize safety, privacy, cleanliness, and happy animals. Especially with the temporary change in caregiver, I believe it is extremely important to maintain the routine your pets are used to while you are away, with maybe a couple extra treats (with permission, of course) :) Above all, I adhere to the care rules and instructions given to me, because you know your pets better than anyone.

About: I have had dogs my entire life and spent the last year working as a veterinary technician, and worked alongside ranch dogs for two years before that. I am comfortable with dogs (plus cats and ranch animals!) of all ages, sizes, breeds, and temperaments. My veterinary background also makes me comfortable with medications and specialty care. I really enjoy being able to get to know each pet’s unique personality! My schedule is currently pretty flexible, which gives me plenty of time for walks and drop-ins throughout the week. I live in a single-level home with a large fully fenced yard that includes a pool. About: I grew up on a farm in Australia and I’m a lifelong dog lover with a rescue dog of my own. I have shelter volunteer experience in which I’ve been trained to handle a variety of dog breeds and temperaments. It would be my pleasure to take care of your dog as I would my own! I love to run also so feel free to request some extra speed on the walks for high energy pups! I work remotely as a software engineer with a flexible schedule. I’m usually busy with meetings early morning but after that I’m all yours! Weekends can be less predictable but happy to work in times with some notice. I’m a shelter volunteer so have been trained in how to create safe environments and identify risk factors. I will always put the dogs well being first and take on board all requests and advice from the owners.

I understand that every pet has a unique personality. Some cats want affection and playtime, while others feel safest hiding, and I always respect their boundaries while making sure they have fresh food and water, a clean litter box, and a comfortable environment. I’m equally at ease with dogs: I’ve trained dogs to sit, stay, lie down, and heel; I’m patient with teething, rambunctious puppies; and I love taking older dogs on relaxed walks where they can sniff and enjoy the world.
