“Charles did a fantastic job taking care of my two cats. He was very good about following instructions. He even helped me take out the trash, which was not a part of his job description. Super nice guy. I would definitely book him again.”

About: I’ve been caring for animals since I was about six years old and have grown up with dogs my entire life. I currently have two dogs that I care for daily, including feeding, and taking them on walks and runs. I am also in charge of brushing there teeth! I’m very comfortable with regular routines, exercise, and basic grooming. In addition to dogs, I care for six chickens and a turtle at home, so I’m experienced with different types of animals and their needs. I’ve also pet-sat for neighbors, caring for dogs, a bunny, and a guinea pig. I truly love animals and treat every pet as if they were my own. Pet care fits really well into my routine. I’m available most days after school and am very flexible on weekends. I have reliable availability and can adjust my schedule to meet pets’ needs, whether that’s walks, drop-ins, or extended care. I take pet safety very seriously and always follow instructions provided by pet parents. I make sure pets are supervised, comfortable, and secure in their environment. I have two dogs who are very much escape artists so I am very used to rambunctious animals. I’m attentive to routines, feeding guidelines, and exercise needs, and I treat every home and animal with respect and care.

About: I've had dogs in my life since I was a middle schooler. Between my family dogs and dogs who have lived in my home since then I have been responsible for at least 7 dogs, of all shapes, sizes and demeanors. I've kept moody Dachshunds, energetic Shelties, even tempered Retrievers and even rescue Pitbulls. I love hiking and getting outdoors, and bringing a canine friend along. I currently have one dog of my own, a peppy rescue mix, and he is my best friend I am available to dog/house sit very regularly. I am an ecological land designer working most days from home with the exception of days where I need to do a site visit or connect with my team in person. I can pretty much work from anywhere with a good internet connection, so most days would be able to be around in case your dog needs more frequent walks or attention. In addition to dogs I love other pets and plants! If you have house plants, a veggie garden or other plants that need some watering or attention while you're away I'll be able to help in the department as well! I work from home most days, so I am able to be flexible around a pets needs regarding feeding, walks, and medication. Ocassionally I do have to leave home for work, and that is typically up to 4 hours. We have one dog at home and since we don't have a yard, we typically take him up on the ridge to walk, or to the Red hill Dog park or San Quentin beach. These are great places to have some fun exercise

“Devon was so friendly and communicative, we would love to utilize her again. Our pets loved her and she helped our shy dog come out of his shell while we were away. We are so pleased!”

About: I have owned and cared for dogs and cats for many years. I love taking dogs on walks that are just the right pace and distance for them. I mostly work from home and can adjust my schedule as needed most of the time. Morning and evening walks are ideal during the Summer months as it can get hot for both the dog and me. I make sure the pet has clean water, clean food bowls, food portioned and prepared as directed. I like to sit with the pet or walk the dog and talk to them in an encouraging tone.
“I don’t really need to explain why Rachel deserves 5 stars, she just does. She was communicative every step of the way and SO patient with my problem puppy (who really just a little anxious). She sent pics and updates every day, came once without pay, and deserves 7/5 stars, let’s be real. She was never ever late, never ever skipped, and made it so easy being thousands of miles away from my babes!”

About: I understand what it’s like to leave your pet alone with a stranger and I will make sure it is as if you never left! I am available weekday afternoons and some weekends. Monday, Wed, Friday after 3pm and T Th at 5pm. On weekends, I just need a week heads up! I like to make sure the pet feels loved and safe first and foremost and I make sure to keep great communication with the client! I am very adamant on making sure all the necessary tasks are completed as well.
“Jackie care for our shy cat, Mick, over the Thanksgiving break. She did an exceptional job. Communication was frequently and clear and service provided went above and beyond! Will 100% work with Jackie again!”

About: I live nextdoor to a school for lots of field/ball play, next to hiking for more active dogs. I live in an apartment with a doggie door and gated backyard for easy potty trips. I'm happy to just hang out with your dog for company or keep them active! Respectful of your home if you prefer your pup stays home while you're away. My corgi loves the company! I grew up with smaller dogs and as an adult have cared for larger dogs. Once my neighbor's corgi adopted me, I fell in love with the breed and got my own! It's a large dog in a little body! Any questions? Just ask me! I work from home and make time to take my dog (and any guest dogs) out daily for lots of play and/or hike. Close access to parks, hills, and a beach My place is animal-friendly and my dog is allowed on all furniture. Yard is gated. In your home I can take them out daily plus lots of play.
“Alaina, after three separate sits, has gotten my cats to come out from hiding when she’s around! I am so impressed with the patience and enthusiasm she showed towards my cats. She moved toys around for them (even hiding them for the cats!), left treats out, played their favorite music and finally the cats have started to trust her. She’s an amazing sitter and I cannot recommend her highly enough.”

“Krystle was amazing - so responsive, responsible, and thoughtful of our dogs needs!! I will definitely be reaching out to her again, we are so appreciative of your help Kystle ❤️”

Whether walking, sitting, or just a drop in, your pet will be happy and expertly cared for while you’re away for woke or play 😄 👟 Walks are a full 30-60 minutes, the time starts when the leash goes on and the walk actually begins, not when the door opens. 🐕 I have training experience and am a master of patience (thanks to my own dog) when it comes to dogs and puppies of all sizes and shapes. I live near the Dawn Falls trail head that opens up into Mt. Tamalpais. This trail is pet friendly and is great exercise for dogs of any age. Ross pet parents share their Rover experiences
Ariela was brilliant, she looked after our 6 year old bulldog for 10 days. Our dog gets stressed out when boarded which leads to the dreaded bulldog skin issues every-time we go away. This was our first time booking drop in visits with Rover and it was great. Joey was looking better than ever when we returned all down to Ariela’s care. She followed his skin and eye routine and administered his medication daily. I always enjoyed getting update of him playing at the local dog park and getting lots of attention at home. I will be booking Ariela again

Lydia is just the best! It is always hard to leave my cat, but I know she is in the best possible hands with Lydia. When I get home, my cat is so happy and playful and thriving, and I know this is all because of Lydia. Lydia has cared for my cat several times and I will 100% ask her to return again.
Claire did a great job taking care of my cat (Kermit) while I went away for 10 days over the holidays. She showed up every morning to give him his wet food, clean his litter box, play with him and give him a few pets. Kermit was in good shape and spirits when I returned. Definitely recommend and would book with her again!

Olivia took expert care of our two elderly cats, both of whom need medication twice a day, while we were away for the holidays. She made our kitties feel safe, warm, and loved while we were away. She will definitely be my first choice for cat care for our next trip!
I couldn’t be happier with the care our two cats received! From the very first visit, it was clear that Abby has a genuine love for animals. Abby kept us updated with photos and notes, which gave us total peace of mind while we were away. We highly recommend Abby to anyone looking for reliable, caring, and professional pet sitting. We have worked with Abby a few times this year and will absolutely be booking again! 🐾💛

Amber is an excellent cat sitter. She is responsible, on time, and got along great with my cat Jimi. I was very careful in selecting someone to take care of my cat and am happy to have chosen Amber. I'm planning to hire her again the next time I go out of town.

Ariane did drop ins on B multiple times a day while I was away for a work trip. She follows instructions well and made sure to send plenty of photos of my boy. Having her drop in and take care of B really put my mind at ease while I was away. We will definitely book her again.

Natalie has been amazing with our 4-month old pup! She’s been coming regularly to walk/play/feed him, and is super responsive, reliable, always updates me, and most importantly, our puppy loves Natalie! She’s also brought her dog with her (after asking me if it was ok, which I gladly said yes to!), and her dog has also been great with my puppy and helps tire him out:) would highly recommend.
