About: I have had dogs my entire life and spent the last year working as a veterinary technician, and worked alongside ranch dogs for two years before that. I am comfortable with dogs (plus cats and ranch animals!) of all ages, sizes, breeds, and temperaments. My veterinary background also makes me comfortable with medications and specialty care. I really enjoy being able to get to know each pet’s unique personality! My schedule is currently pretty flexible, which gives me plenty of time for walks and drop-ins throughout the week. I can accommodate different days and times whenever possible! I am happy to follow your pet’s normal routine and any specific care instructions. My veterinary background has given me experience with pet first aid, medications, and special needs, as well as recognizing changes in behavior or health. I’ll usually brush them as well and try to keep their routine as close as possible to what they’re used to. If they enjoy socializing, we can go to a dog park or meet other dogs during our walks. And if they prefer to avoid other dogs, I’m happy to choose quieter routes and give them the space they need💛 I can give them their medication in specific time) And of course I love them, I think that it’s very important for dogs as for people. My behavior is different with all dogs, because all of them have their own character and favorite/unloved things and their safety and comfort are on the first place for me.

About: I have been involved in the loving care of animals since I was a child. My passion for animals developed 25 years ago. I have been casually helping friends with pets for well beyond twenty years and no harm has ever come to them, nor, have they been lost. I volunteer with shelters and animal causes in my spare time. I own my home with a fenced in yard. I rarely watch more than one or two animals at a time. I do not smoke or drink, am bondable and am fully insured. I offer your pet(s) a genuine, loving experience with recreational and fun activities.. If I have more then one dog I do separate them while eating in case they like to resource guard .. .. If your animal has separation anxiety please let me know because my goal is to have them have a wonderful time with me… If they are a obsessive barker please share this with me because i live in a town house and dont want to disturb my neighbors.... I would like to be aware of this so I can accommodate their needs … Your dog also must be POTTY TRAINED as well... …Other then that I will send them home a happy and tired dog . I have a flexible schedule that is adaptable to your needs as well as that of your pet. I work for myself and set my own hours so I’m very flexible. I have a fenced in yard that is secure. I NEVER leave animals unattended. I have many toys to play with and bond very quickly with animals. The owner and myself can create a activity plan that surrounds the pet’s individual needs and wants. I have countless years of providing medication and care to animals and can recognize problems before they become bigger issues.

About: Hi! I've had pets my whole life, up until moving to SF and I know how to love and care for pets big and small! I have experience walking and watching cats, dogs, small mammals, and reptiles. I've walked dogs as large as a German Shepherd and as tiny as a Chihuahua. I am often complimented that the pups I take on walks come back looking relaxed, happy, and if they're young they come back listening to commands better. I work with dogs on pulling and use mindful energetic reinforcement to work on any bad habits the pet parent wants support with. : ) If you’re interested in boarding a pet, I have a gentle golden retriever and a Siamese cat who basically thinks he’s a dog. They are both friendly with any animal. Your pet will have some friends to play with! If they’re not in a playful mood my home is large enough to create separation. I work fully remote and often find myself with a lot of free time in the day. So what else would be a nice treat than to care for an animal! For dog sitting care that is done in the pet parent home I ensure that I understand and follow any instructions you have for arrival, food, water, crating, and locking up. For day care (no overnight) I have my own personal office in downtown. If the pet isn't super hyper active they can stay with me in my office and I can take them out for walks periodically throughout the day along Embarcadero. For boarding I have my home in the East Bay with a dog run on the side, a fenced in backyard with grass. There are dog parks and walking trails 5-10 minute drive from the house.

About: My animal care experience started with my first dog foster at 18. In the past 18 years I have worked as a zookeeper before transitioning to Veterinary Medicine. I was a kennel tech, then Veterinary Assistant before earning my Registered Veterinary Technician License. My skills include dog walking, cat socializing, administering medications (oral, transdermal, injectable), nail trimming and positive reinforcement. I also have experience performing health exams, giving vaccinations, surgery prep and monitoring anesthesia. Over the years I have been a reliable dog walker, cat and house sitter for friends and family, as needed. At home I have a senior black chihuahua and senior black cat. I understand the need for wanting your pets to have the best care while you’re away. I am here to help take care of that for you. I’m currently working as an RVT working 10-hour shifts. Outside of my day job, I plan to be there to provide dog walking, cat sitting and house sitting as my free time allows. In your home, I will provide the type of care that you request. Whether that is dropping in and feeding your animal or taking your dog for a nice, long, stimulating walk, I aim to make it comfortable and enjoyable for your pet.

About: I grew up with a dog at home and still miss his sweet smile (you can see him in my profile!). I’ve always loved taking care of dogs, bringing them on walks, visiting parks, and making them happy by caring for them as if they were my own. About: My wife and I own our home and have large yard in sunny Corte Madera, about 15 miles north of San Francisco. I previously owned a veterinary hospital and pet boarding facility, so working with dogs is a life long passion of mine. Senior pets are welcome!!! I've had San Francisco (city) customers before, but mainly Marin County residents. Pups will have loving care around the clock. I’m retired and my wife works out of the house. Safe and secure environment with 24 hour monitoring. Secure fenced in yard with doggie door. Pups understand very quickly that we are there to take care of them and they feel safe and secure with us.

About: I was born with 2 Dachshunds in the family that I wrestled within my first years of learning to crawl and have lived with a dog most years of my life. I once had a Doberman Pincher whom I raised & turned into a service dog in the Air Force when I was given an overseas assignment and couldn't take him. For years I had a diabetic Chow Chow that I could leave in the back of a convertible car with the roof down on Hollywood Blvd by the Chinese Theater while I went to a show and knew the car and puppy would be as I left them hours earlier (Note: that was the 1990s... Hollywood Blvd. is a different animal now). I’ve tackled Pit Bulls mistaking my 5 lb. Chihuahua for a squirrel. I’ve crossed paths with multiple coyotes with my Chi’s in the Presidio & have great accuracy throwing rocks. I'm an IT engineer who works at home and sits long periods & my dogs absolutely motivate me to exercise with them daily and there are many places to do so in Dog City, USA! I've been working remotely and keep my pups with me. We exercise daily at the beach, Presidio or at any of the great parks in the area. We would go to Ocean Beach more often if not for all of the stinky stuff that washes up on shore that they just can't resist rolling around in (a dead walrus tops a skunk's stink by a mile) necessitating a bath(s).... in tomato juice? Safety is critical! I have a fenced yard which makes dogs possible in the city. They are never exposed to the street, so there’s zero chance of a mishap with escaping. I usually take my McNab/Border Collies (who were raised by Chihuahuas 😊) to Crissy Field, the Presidio, the Beach or Golden Gate dog park daily, so my dogs are quite social

About: I have 20 years experience with bully breeds, and all the health issues that entails, but I’m open to sitting any breed (they are all good dogs!). I live at the beach, so your pup will get long beach walks and/or mountain trail hikes during the day, then sleepy downtime at night. It’s a pet paradise! Update 2/26: I just adopted a mastiff, so I’m not doing any in home boarding until I get her settled in her new home, but I’m still happy to do drop ins or walks for other dogs. Your dog will enjoy morning beach walks or trail hikes, or walks in a stroller if your pet has mobility issues. Daylight hours are spent being active, and evenings are resto-relaxo. I have a fenced and private front and backyard with fake grass for your pet to use. No stairs to navigate - single level home a block from the ocean. Just tell me your dogs energy level and exercise needs, and I’ll create the perfect doggy vacation!

About: I grew up surrounded by all kinds of pets and have owned both cats and a dog as an adult, which was a Dalmatian—describe them as eternally young. :-) I'm an active individual whose current living situation doesn't allow pets so would love to help with yours! Those of you in the Larkspur/Greenbrae area may recognize me from walks on the local paths where I’m able to greet many dogs. While on vacation, I also seek out opportunities to contribute or volunteer for various animal causes, which you’ll see in some of my pictures. I'm retired so my schedule is generally flexible unless I'm out of town for personal reasons. Choosing a more limited radius at this point enables greater schedule flexibility, and to be close to local resources should a need arise. I will pet sit in your home so that your fur baby has all of their normal comforts and routines. I realize not all owners have a fenced yard for a dog so understand the importance of daily walks. I always welcome the opportunity to meet or chat about your needs in advance, so that you may advise of any behaviors for which I'll need to be more mindful. I care for fur babies of at least one year of age. NOTE: I only have experience providing meds to dogs, not cats. Due to allergies, I’m unable to sit in homes with cigarette smoke or with whole house carpeting (in bedrooms is fine). I'm a neat, tidy person who's very responsible--former homeowner.
