I often pet sit for friends, from short visits to boarding for several days, so I’m very comfortable with daily routines like walks, feeding, playtime, and just keeping pets company so they feel safe and happy. I also tend to take way too many photos, so you can expect lots of photo updates while I'm with your pet! I work from home doing freelance work, so my schedule is pretty flexible and I’m able to plan my day around pet care, whether that’s walks, drop-ins, or staying with them for longer periods. About: I have decades of experience caring for cats and dogs of all ages breeds. I'm a stay at home parent with older kids that would dote over your pet as much as they obsess over our resident Great Pyrenees. Your pet is part of our family as long as they're with us. I'm a stay at home parent so I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule for house sitting, boarding and last minute care for your pet. I have a fenced yard where your pet has access to our home and outside. I am home most of the time to tend to their needs and can help with medication administration as well.

About: Hi! I'm an artist working from home who loves spending time with dogs and cats! I often pet sit for friends, from short visits to boarding for several days, so I’m very comfortable with daily routines like walks, feeding, playtime, and just keeping pets company so they feel safe and happy. I also tend to take way too many photos, so you can expect lots of photo updates while I'm with your pet! I work from home doing freelance work, so my schedule is pretty flexible and I’m able to plan my day around pet care, whether that’s walks, drop-ins, or staying with them for longer periods. I’m available for boarding, house sitting, and walks, and I like keeping a consistent routine so pets feel comfortable and not rushed. I live in an apartment right next to Washington Square Park and Coit Tower, so it’s really easy to get dogs out for nice long walks and some additional short walks to get some fresh air! I also have a 3-year-old cat who’s used to being around dogs. I keep my place clean and calm, and I pay attention to how each pet is feeling so they’re comfortable. I’m also happy to follow any routines or instructions so things feel familiar for them.
“Sonia is awesome! She provided our Ridley (a HIGH energy and HIGH attention lab) with the best of care. Ridley was happy to see Sonia when we dropped her off and sad to leave when we picked her up. She made friends with Sonia's pups and became one of the team. We got tons of photos of her sleeping, eating, playing and just relaxing. “We had a great experience boarding our pup with Go. He is very quick to respond, communicates clearly and is very pleasant and friendly. We had a meet and greet twice before we actually left my pup with Go and his wife. They were kind to Hira, asked good questions, clearly went through my care instructions. We felt comfortable boarding for almost 3 weeks. Throughout the stay Go sent pictures, and kept us informed. They took Hira to the park every day and she seemed very happy and comfortable with them. “We have only left Koba with family or one other sitter so when she told me she would be out of town I was worried about finding another sitter but we got lucky with Mike! We liked that he seemed to understand bully breeds and instantly felt at ease after the meet and greet. Mike kept us updated throughout the day with lots of videos and photos of all their little adventures around scenic SF areas. Koba definitely looked like he was having a blast. He was a little anxious/restless the first night but Mike was super understanding. “Melissa did an excellent job boarding Thor while I was away at a wedding for several days. I was nervous about leaving him because it had been a while since he spent overnights anywhere. He can have a little separation anxiety. Within the first day into my trip I felt 100% at ease and reassured. Melissa was very accommodating and made Thor welcome in her home. She stayed in contact and sent pictures and even a video. Thor was well exercised, going on long walks, and to Mt Tam for trail walk with her husband was great. My big boy came home tired and happy. I would definitely recommend Melissa and rebook with her! Great experience.”
