Loving, dependable, safe, fun
I have been involved in the loving care of animals since I was a child. My passion for animals developed 25 years ago. I have been casually helping friends with pets for well beyond twenty years and no harm has ever come to them, nor, have they been lost. I volunteer with shelters and animal causes in my spare time. I own my home with a fenced in yard. I rarely watch more than one or two animals at a time. I do not smoke or drink, am bondable and am fully insured. I offer your pet(s) a genuine, loving experience with recreational and fun activities.. If I have more then one dog I do separate them while eating in case they like to resource guard .. .. If your animal has separation anxiety please let me know because my goal is to have them have a wonderful time with me… If they are a obsessive barker please share this with me because i live in a town house and dont want to disturb my neighbors.... I would like to be aware of this so I can accommodate their needs … Your dog also must be POTTY TRAINED as well... …Other then that I will send them home a happy and tired dog .

Melissa took great care of our girl while we were gone for a few days. She sent me pictures and updates, and reassured me not to worry. Poppy came home happy and energetic. I really appreciated her kind and loving demeanor - I think it was perfect for our sweet girl who prefers calm and gentle environments.
Melissa and her husband were absolute lifesavers! They took our dog, Atlas, on very short notice and provided exceptional care. Atlas returned home super happy and well-rested. Communication was seamless throughout the stay, and Melissa sent constant updates and photos that kept us at ease. We highly recommend her!
Melissa and her husband were amazing! We asked them to watch our dog Charlie on short notice over the holidays and without hesitation they said yes. She let us drop our dog off a day early so that we could get to our flights easier in the morning. Even with a full schedule and holiday craziness with her family visiting Melissa gave Charlie all the love and time she needed. She was very communicative and gave us updates throughout our time being away. When we picked up Charlie we knew she had been taken good care of because of how happy she was.
My doggies, Bo and Penny, love going to visit Melissa- their tails wag so fast as soon as we approach her place!!! I don’t know what we would do without Melissa- a loving dog sitter! I never worry when Melissa has my doggies because they are in good hands.
Melissa was terrific! She and her family took excellent care of my little Yorkie, Lucy. They played with her, took her places with them, sent me photos and texts every day, just seemed to really care about her well being. I will definitely be leaving Lucy with Melissa in the future. I'm do glad I found a caring, safe place so now I feel more comfortable going on long trips and I know that my special little dog is happy.
Pepper had a wonderful stay, and Melissa was so nice to work with!

Schedule
I have a flexible schedule that is adaptable to your needs as well as that of your pet. I work for myself and set my own hours so I’m very flexible.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced in yard that is secure. I NEVER leave animals unattended. I have many toys to play with and bond very quickly with animals. The owner and myself can create a activity plan that surrounds the pet’s individual needs and wants. I have countless years of providing medication and care to animals and can recognize problems before they become bigger issues.
A typical day
Each experience is individual. I live very close to beaches, dog parks and hiking trails. I have plenty of toys to play with and spend our day with.
