About: I have 20 years experience with bully breeds, and all the health issues that entails, but I’m open to sitting any breed (they are all good dogs!). I live at the beach, so your pup will get long beach walks and/or mountain trail hikes during the day, then sleepy downtime at night. It’s a pet paradise! Your dog will enjoy morning beach walks or trail hikes, or walks in a stroller if your pet has mobility issues. Daylight hours are spent being active, and evenings are resto-relaxo. I have a fenced and private front and backyard with fake grass for your pet to use. No stairs to navigate - single level home a block from the ocean. Just tell me your dogs energy level and exercise needs, and I’ll create the perfect doggy vacation!

About: I love and grew up around dogs- my family had a husky, a mutt, and a yellow lab. Since college I’ve dogsat for a number of family friends, neighbors, Rover dogs, etc. I’ve house sat, cared for, and walked dogs of all ages and conditions, from puppies and house training, to dogs with anxiety, to dogs recovering from surgery, to old dogs who require lots of patience and love and often have additional medical conditions. I’ve also house sat for cats (typically when house sitting for a dog as well), so very comfortable with cat care too. Also not scared of big dogs- they are some of the best! My current job and travel schedule don’t allow for having a dog full time, so until then I’ve got you covered for weekend trips! I wfh Fridays and am fully available on the weekends listed as open on my calendar. I’ve been on the road for the past several years but my schedule is finally settling down, allowing for me to restart Rover. I currently live in an apartment that is dog friendly, but does require going up a set of stairs, so for older dogs with knee conditions or rapid outdoor needs it might not be the best.

About: Dogs are the light of my life! I've given forever homes to 7 German Shepherds, 2 Poodles and 4 Mixes. I've had extensive experience caring for them through various illnesses & am very knowledgeable about both their physical and emotional needs. I especially love huskies (and other active breeds), and I’m very comfortable with their energy levels, quirks, and need for stimulation. Living in Marin is a huge bonus for the dogs I watch. I spend a lot of time trail running and exploring around Mt. Tam, so your dog will get plenty of fresh air, adventure, and enrichment (if they’re up for it!). Whether your dog is high-energy and loves the outdoors or prefers a slower, more relaxed pace, I’m happy to meet them where they are and make sure they feel right at home. I work at LinkedIn as a program manager and am super grateful they let me work remotely! When I'm traveling (while working), I love trail running, cycling, and eating sushi. I usually come back to the Bay Area a few times a year for in-person work events. Otherwise, I'm usually on a trail somewhere in the mountains. I have a fenced yard, but will only allow dogs outside if they are being watched. Dogs are always allowed on furniture, but if you prefer them not to be, I will be sure to reinforce proper training to them.
