About: I have 20 years experience with bully breeds, and all the health issues that entails, but I’m open to sitting any breed (they are all good dogs!). I live at the beach, so your pup will get long beach walks and/or mountain trail hikes during the day, then sleepy downtime at night. It’s a pet paradise! Your dog will enjoy morning beach walks or trail hikes, or walks in a stroller if your pet has mobility issues. Daylight hours are spent being active, and evenings are resto-relaxo. I have a fenced and private front and backyard with fake grass for your pet to use. No stairs to navigate - single level home a block from the ocean. Just tell me your dogs energy level and exercise needs, and I’ll create the perfect doggy vacation!

“Julian was a great match for Coffee and I. He is friendly, responsable and very knowledgeable about his job. He keeps sending pictures and videos of each walk that I appreciate so much during my busy work schedule. Totally will contact him for future events. Thanks Julian and Rover for helping us.”

“Had Gage everyday this week, as our puppy was neutered and couldn't do his regular off-leash hikes. Gage was on time every day, and our puppy Murphy was very excited to see him each day! I wouldn't hesitate to book Gage again, and was grateful that he was able to accommodate a fairly last minute request for a week of 8am walks!”

About: I grew up with dogs and have owned 3 dogs in my adulthood including two mixed-breed rescues from Milo and a pure-bread yellow lab at 6 weeks. My experience ranges from puppyhood to senior dog care, as well as behavior issues including fear, resource, and leash aggression. I attune to a dog's needs and understand their body language and boundaries. I am responsible, reliable and have a deep love and respect for animals. I am a teacher on summer break, so my schedule is fairly open and flexible aside from occasional travel. I have reliable transportation and can accommodate last minute needs. My services include in-home visits (feedings, medications, playtime, companionship) and walks. I'm able to do a neighborhood walk or drive to a local trailhead for a hike.

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since I was little. I often join my friends when they house sit to spend time with their clients pets! I am free 7 days a week, 24 hours. My schedule is up to you! I am always free since I am on summer vacation. I go to college at CSUSM, down in Southern California. I am very attentive and intuitive when it comes to animals. I will give my 100% attention and care to your pet. I can provide emotional and physical care!

About: Hi, I'm Isabel! I'm a passionate animal lover with hands-on experience caring for pets of all kinds. I currently have my own pets at home, so I know firsthand how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your furry family member. Over the years, I've also cared for the pets of friends and family, so I'm comfortable handling a variety of personalities, breeds, and needs. And if your pup comes back a little muddy from our adventure, I'm also happy to give them a bath and send them home fresh and clean! I’m currently working part time, so I’ve got a pretty open schedule most days. Afternoons and evenings work best, although some days I’m completely free! I walk my dog every day and keep her on a regular routine. I’ll walk your dog in their neighborhood so that they’re comfortable and know the area well. I maintain boundaries with other dogs, keeping your pets safely paramount.
About: I love and grew up around dogs- my family had a husky, a mutt, and a yellow lab. Since college I’ve dogsat for a number of family friends, neighbors, Rover dogs, etc. I’ve house sat, cared for, and walked dogs of all ages and conditions, from puppies and house training, to dogs with anxiety, to dogs recovering from surgery, to old dogs who require lots of patience and love and often have additional medical conditions. I’ve also house sat for cats (typically when house sitting for a dog as well), so very comfortable with cat care too. Also not scared of big dogs- they are some of the best! My current job and travel schedule don’t allow for having a dog full time, so until then I’ve got you covered for weekend trips! I wfh Fridays and am fully available on the weekends listed as open on my calendar. I’ve been on the road for the past several years but my schedule is finally settling down, allowing for me to restart Rover. I currently live in an apartment that is dog friendly, but does require going up a set of stairs, so for older dogs with knee conditions or rapid outdoor needs it might not be the best.
About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and my family currently has two Labs, so I’m very comfortable with daily walks, feeding routines, playtime, and giving dogs the attention they need to feel happy. I also have several years of experience pet sitting for neighbors, caring for dogs and other animals while their owners were away. I understand that every pet has a different personality and routine, and I always try to make them feel comfortable, cared for, and well exercised. Whether it’s an energetic walk, sticking to feeding schedules, or simply spending quality time with them, I genuinely enjoy being around animals and treating them with patience and tenderness. Pet care fits easily into my routine. I currently work part time, so I have a pretty flexible schedule and plenty of availability for walks, feeding, playtime, or check-ins throughout the week. I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for during visits. For walks, I pay attention to leash safety, surroundings, and each pet’s energy level and needs. During check-ins, I make sure pets have fresh water, meals or medications if needed, potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of attention. I also try to keep pets on their normal routine to help them feel relaxed while their owner is away. I respect my clients’ homes by keeping things clean, unaltered, and following any specific care instructions closely.
“We contacted Anjali one evening with a last-minute request right during dinner time. Bochy hadn't exercised all day and was acting out. She jumped at the chance to take Bochy to play and ended up taking him for a nice walk and fetch time. She was good about keeping him under control off leash, and he came back tired and happy. Thank you!!”

About: I’ve been a dog lover my entire life and grew up surrounded by pups, especially snow dogs, which will always have a special place in my heart. My last dog was a husky who I had for 13 wonderful years, so I’ve had hands-on experience caring for dogs through every stage of life, from energetic puppies to senior companions. These days, I don’t currently have a dog of my own, which means when I care for yours, they’ll get my full, undivided attention in a true 1:1 setting. I’m very intentional about creating a calm, safe, and personalized environment. No overcrowding, no competing pets, just focused care tailored to your dog’s needs and personality. I especially love huskies (and other active breeds), and I’m very comfortable with their energy levels, quirks, and need for stimulation. Living in Marin is a huge bonus for the dogs I watch. I spend a lot of time trail running and exploring around Mt. Tam, so your dog will get plenty of fresh air, adventure, and enrichment (if they’re up for it!). Whether your dog is high-energy and loves the outdoors or prefers a slower, more relaxed pace, I’m happy to meet them where they are and make sure they feel right at home. I work at LinkedIn as a program manager and am super grateful they let me work remotely! When I'm traveling (while working), I love trail running, cycling, and eating sushi. I usually come back to the Bay Area a few times a year for in-person work events. Otherwise, I'm usually on a trail somewhere in the mountains. I have a fenced yard, but will only allow dogs outside if they are being watched. Dogs are always allowed on furniture, but if you prefer them not to be, I will be sure to reinforce proper training to them.
About: I lead with integrity and am always open to learning more about our furry friends. Serving Marin county and outer SF. Please DM anytime, thank you! Open availability on Fridays, Saturdays and Sunday. I have limited weekday availability. My schedule reopens at 6:30pm and after to accommodate evening and overnight sitting. Safety and trust is priority, I allow for the pet to approach me first and follow their cues as best I can. ** Client home sitting only ** Currently not available for house sitting at mine.

“Mariia went above and beyond with my dog, Mr, Puk. She not only walked my dog but played fetch with him as well. When Mariia left, my dog tried leaving with her 😂. Mariia was polite and courteous upon our interactions. She will be my go -to dog walker moving forward!”

About: Howdy I’m Serena! I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember, and caring for them has always been a natural part of my life. Growing up, I raised and looked after a variety of animals—including turtles, bunnies, and kittens—which taught me early on that every pet has their own personality, needs, and boundaries. As I got older, I became the go-to person for walking dogs and helping friends and neighbors care for their pets, gaining experience with everything from large, high-energy dogs to shy small pets and senior cats. Core Skills & Experience: -Comfortable with all sizes and temperaments (large dogs, small dogs, cats, kittens, seniors) -Kitten & puppy care, including play, supervision, and positive engagement -Senior pet care with patience, gentle handling, and routine consistency -Skilled with high-energy pets and structured walks/playtime -Strong at building trust with shy or anxious animals -Cat-focused care: playful engagement + respecting boundaries and cues -Detail-oriented with feeding schedules, routines, and updates -Experience managing multiple pets at once -Basic pet CPR knowledge (not certified, but familiar with emergency response) What sets me apart is my ability to adapt to each animal. Whether that means keeping up with an energetic dog who needs structure and exercise, or taking a slower, more gentle approach with older pets who need extra care and consistency, I focus on meeting them where they are. I especially love caring for cats. I enjoy playing with them, keeping them mentally engaged, and just as importantly, respecting their boundaries. I pay close attention to their behavior and take the time to build trust at their pace—something that’s especially important for shy or more independent cats. Above all, my goal is simple: to make your pet feel happy, secure, and cared for—like you never left. For safety and peace of mind, I also make it a strict rule to never board dogs and cats together, ensuring a calm and secure environment for every pet in my care. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I work full-time on a hybrid schedule, which gives me extra flexibility—especially on Mondays and Fridays when I’m home and have more availability for walks, drop-ins, and quality time with your pets. I’m also available for boarding on weekends (including Fridays), and I make sure to dedicate plenty of time for play, exercise, and attention so your pet never feels overlooked. I prioritize creating a safe, calm, and engaging environment for every pet. I live in a spacious apartment with a loft setup, giving pets plenty of room to relax and explore, and I have access to a nearby hiking trail that’s perfect for walks and outdoor play for dogs of all sizes. For cats, I provide a clean, enriched space with toys and scratching areas to keep them mentally stimulated. I always follow each owner’s instructions closely and adapt to your pet’s specific needs, routines, and personality. For added safety and peace of mind, I maintain a strict rule of never boarding dogs and cats together, ensuring a secure and stress-free environment for all animals.
About: My love for animals began in Colorado, where I rescued a husky malamute wolf. Caring for him led me to eventually care for an entire pack, where I learned patience, structure, and how to read animal behavior in group settings. After moving to the Bay Area, I rescued a kelpie, a highly intelligent and energetic breed. Through him, I gained hands on experience with proper training, mental stimulation, and the level of attention needed for dogs that thrive on engagement. After his passing, I rescued my sweet chihuahua and have since cared for many dogs of different sizes, ages, and temperaments. Alongside my dog experience, I have rescued and cared for many cats over the years. I am comfortable with kittens, adult cats, and seniors, and I understand that cats need a calm, respectful approach to feel safe and secure. I am experienced with litter box care, feeding routines, playtime, and giving affection on their terms. I take the time to build trust with shy or independent cats so they feel comfortable while their owners are away. Today, I care for every dog and cat as if they were my own, providing dependable, loving, and individualized care to help them feel safe, happy, and at home. I have full availability to help you with pet care needs! I have full availability to help with your pet care needs, including walks, visits, and companionship. I provide pet care in my clients’ homes through house sitting, walks, and drop in visits. I do not offer boarding in my own home, as I try to maintain my pet’s peace as much as possible. When house sitting, I maintain your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and companionship. I make sure pets feel safe, relaxed, and cared for while also respecting and caring for your home. For walks and drop in visits, I focus on giving pets quality attention, exercise, and enrichment during each visit. I take the time to understand each pet’s personality and needs, whether that means energetic walks for dogs or calm check ins and playtime for cats. Across all services, I closely follow care instructions, monitor your pet’s well being, and provide regular updates so you have peace of mind while you’re away.
Muir Beach dog parents share their Rover experiences
We hired Carolina to walk our dogs when we had to go out of town for the day. I always get anxious trusting my dogs and home to a new person, but Carolina was wonderful. She was friendly, punctual, and a great communicator. She followed all my instructions, was sweet to my dogs and sent lots of pics from their walk. I came home to safe and happy dogs. I’m so glad we found her and hope to hire her again!
