About: I’m a WFH dog mom in Berkeley with decades of experience caring for small and senior pups. I specialize in 0–40 lb dogs, seniors, and dogs who need a little extra patience or medication support. I’ve cared for dogs since I was 8, starting with neighborhood pups and eventually my own dog, Silky, who was with me for 17 years. Since then I’ve had two more dogs and regularly care for friends’, family’s, and neighbors’ pets. I’m comfortable following detailed routines, giving oral medications, and reinforcing training you’re already working on. My goal is for your dog to feel like part of the family while you’re away. PS If your dog enjoys (or needs lots of) exercise, I’m happy to provide long walks or gentle runs. I'm currently working from home so have plenty of time to spend with your pups! I am available during the day on weekdays and can coordinate nights and weekends. I live in a single‑family home in San Jose with a fully fenced, pup‑proofed yard. Your dog can relax on the couch, nap in the sun, or hang out with my friendly 14‑year‑old poodle‑terrier mix. Because I work from home, dogs are rarely left alone and can go out for potty breaks every 0–2 hours. I keep a close eye on introductions and always do slow, supervised meet‑and‑greets so everyone feels safe.

“Our dog had an amazing time with Diana! We got frequent updates on their fun adventures from the dog parks to running around her house and helping with homework (lol), and much more! Honestly our dog has been so well behaved after spending ~6 days with Diana. Highly recommend to everyone!”

“Rosa and Kevin took great care of our pup, and sent regular photos and updates during his stay which we really appreciated as new dog parents! They also have an enclosed outdoor space for the pups to play, which was great.”

“Go & Misa are the sweetest! They loved Juju like she was their own, and took her to lots of parks and walks - she had a blast & didn’t want to leave LOL. Communication was fast and clear, and I’m grateful for the last minute help when I needed a sitter. I love getting photos seeing Juju living her best life!”

“Lei was reliable and very experienced with pet care. Pablo had such a wonderful time, enjoying both her family and her sweet elderly dog Winston. She sent daily (sometimes multiple times a day) photos and observations so we always knew what Pablo was up to and how he fared. I would absolutely book agai. With Lei!”

“Ellen was an amazing caretaker for our dog. She made sure he was comfortable with her 2 dogs before we committed to a few nights of him staying at her home. She sent daily updates and pictures, which I always appreciate. She and her partner were the best company for our dog! Will call them again.”

“Shannon was wonderful. The boys loved her. I was worried about leaving them for days, as I never had, but once we met Shannon, those fears evaporated. She came for a couple short visits prior to my trip. They took to her immediately, and while I was away she sent videos and pics multiple times per day. Really couldn't be happier!”

About: I have had pets my entire life since I was a child and I absolutely adore them! I consider myself a highly sensitive person and that helps me stay attuned both to humans and pets! I have a flexible work from home job and because of that pet sitting fits smoothly with my daily and weekly routine. I can adjust as needed! I feed them on time, play with them during play hours and make sure that they feel safe and take care of. I would make sure to read the pet body language and make sure to give them enough space when they’re shy or not ready to interact!

“Laura did a couple drop ins to check on my kitties while I was gone! She was amazing. The best pictures, made sure they were taken care of, and I felt like my home was safe with her checking in. Definitely do not hesitate to book her!”

About: I grew up with dogs and have owned 3 dogs in my adulthood including two mixed-breed rescues from Milo and a pure-bread yellow lab at 6 weeks. My experience ranges from puppyhood to senior dog care, as well as behavior issues including fear, resource, and leash aggression. I attune to a dog's needs and understand their body language and boundaries. I am responsible, reliable and have a deep love and respect for animals. I am a teacher on summer break, so my schedule is fairly open and flexible aside from occasional travel. I have reliable transportation and can accommodate last minute needs. My services include in-home visits (feedings, medications, playtime, companionship) and walks. I'm able to do a neighborhood walk or drive to a local trailhead for a hike.

“Anjali took amazing care of my new kittens! She took great pictures and spent extra time playing with them. Also, she had to give them medicine which came up at the last minute, and I so appreciated her ability to take care of everything. Highly recommend!”

“Genna was amazing! She took great care of my cat Nutella. She brushed her, played with her, fed her and gave her lots of love. She offered to meet before and noted down everything on Nutella routine. Also a bird got into the apartment and Nutella killed it, and Genna took care of everything, even vacuumed. Genna was amazing, I highly recommend her”

About: Cat Care I absolutely love cats! I grew up with three cats and had my kitty best friend, Lola, until she passed away last year; she was 17 years old! I miss her every day, and caring for cats is very special to me. I understand that every cat has their own personality, boundaries, and routine, and I’m happy to give them as much attention (or space) as they need.
“Caroline did a great job checking in with my kitty! When I leave my cat alone she gets stressed out and lets me know when I get back by acting out. Caroline was able to reduce her stress when I had to leave (in the middle of moving in) and my kitty was happy and well behaved when I got back. I loved all of the photos she sent each check-in and knowing she was being cared for. Will be booking with her again!”

“Jackie care for our shy cat, Mick, over the Thanksgiving break. She did an exceptional job. Communication was frequently and clear and service provided went above and beyond! Will 100% work with Jackie again!”

“Ethan and Mariia were amazing taking care of my dog with separation anxiety. They kept me updated with photos and activities of what them and my dog did that day. They were very responsive and asked a lot of questions for taking care of my dog. Will definitely book again!”

About: I am a pre-vet student at Colorado State University. I regularly volunteer at Animal Friends Alliance and The Milo Foundation, taking care of cats of all sizes and ages. I feed them, clean their cages/rooms, wash litter boxes and food bowls, and play with them. I also volunteer around the clinic at the Marin Humane Society, prepping and taking care of animals after procedures. I have had cats of my own for my whole life and am the dedicated person at my house to give flea treatments and medications. I truly love cats of all sizes and have worked with them all.
About: I have 20 years experience with bully breeds, and all the health issues that entails, but I’m open to sitting any breed (they are all good dogs!). I live at the beach, so your pup will get long beach walks and/or mountain trail hikes during the day, then sleepy downtime at night. It’s a pet paradise! Update 2/26: I just adopted a mastiff, so I’m not doing any in home boarding until I get her settled in her new home, but I’m still happy to do drop ins or walks for other dogs. My girlfriend Amanda lives with me, also works from home and loves dogs so there is plenty of love to go around! I live in a one bedroom condo with plenty of space and a fenced balcony. About: Howdy I’m Serena! I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember, and caring for them has always been a natural part of my life. Growing up, I raised and looked after a variety of animals—including turtles, bunnies, and kittens—which taught me early on that every pet has their own personality, needs, and boundaries. As I got older, I became the go-to person for walking dogs and helping friends and neighbors care for their pets, gaining experience with everything from large, high-energy dogs to shy small pets and senior cats. Core Skills & Experience: -Comfortable with all sizes and temperaments (large dogs, small dogs, cats, kittens, seniors) -Kitten & puppy care, including play, supervision, and positive engagement Senior pet care with patience, gentle handling, and routine consistency -Skilled with high-energy pets and structured walks/playtime -Strong at building trust with shy or anxious animals -Cat-focused care: playful engagement + respecting boundaries and cues -Detail-oriented with feeding schedules, routines, and updates -Experience managing multiple pets at once -Basic pet CPR knowledge What sets me apart is my ability to adapt to each animal. Whether that means keeping up with an energetic dog who needs structure and exercise, or taking a slower, more gentle approach with older pets who need extra care and consistency, I focus on meeting them where they are. I especially love caring for cats. I enjoy playing with them, keeping them mentally engaged, and just as importantly, respecting their boundaries. I pay close attention to their behavior and take the time to build trust at their pace—something that’s especially important for shy or more independent cats. Above all, my goal is simple: to make your pet feel happy, secure, and cared for—like you never left. For safety and peace of mind, I also make it a strict rule to never board dogs and cats together, ensuring a calm and secure environment for every pet in my care.

About: I specialize in small dogs (up to 30#) and provide a cozy, calm home environment, where they get plenty of individual attention, playtime and affection.. I also have experience caring for Senior dogs, and understand the extra patience and gentle care that they sometimes need. I’m comfortable administering medication and following special routines to make sure older pups stay comfortable and well cared for. I treat every dog like it’s my own, so you can feel confident that your little one is in loving attentive hands. Your dog will be our only guest unless you have two dogs in your family and that’s the only way we’ll have multiple dogs. Your pet will never be left alone! I’m a retired nurse so my schedule is open and flexible. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine allowing me to give dogs in my care plenty of attention throughout the day, including walks, playtime and cuddle time. I can easily accommodate medication schedules, and each dog’s routine. Safety, trust, and a calm environment are my top priorities when caring for dogs. I provide a secure, pet-friendly home where small dogs can relax and feel comfortable. I keep pet parents updated with messages and photos while they’re away. My goal is to create a peaceful, loving space where dogs feel cared for and right home. I know how expensive pet care can be so, as a courtesy, I keep my Rover prices as low as I can. Hope it helps.

About: I've loved being around animals for as long as I can remember. Since middle school, I've helped take care of dogs by walking them, bathing them, feeding them, playing with them, and giving them lots of attention. Being around pets has always been something I enjoy, and I treat every animal like they're my own. Right now I live with two dogs, Taco and Balu, so taking care of dogs is part of my everyday routine. I know every dog has their own personality and needs, and I always try to make them feel comfortable, safe, and loved while their family is away. Pet care fits very well into my routine. I’m currently unemployed because the restaurant I worked at unexpectedly closed, which means I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give pets the attention and care they deserve. Whether it's walks, playtime, feeding, or just keeping them company, I’m able to be fully present and make sure they feel safe and comfortable while you're away. Whether I'm caring for a pet in my home or in a client's home, my priority is making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I always follow the owner's instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications if needed, and any specific routines. I know that pets are happiest when they can stick to what they're used to. I also make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and fresh water throughout the day. I'll treat your home with respect and keep it clean while you're away. My goal is to make sure your pet is happy and well cared for, so you can have peace of mind knowing they're in good hands.
“Mariia went above and beyond with my dog, Mr, Puk. She not only walked my dog but played fetch with him as well. When Mariia left, my dog tried leaving with her 😂. Mariia was polite and courteous upon our interactions. She will be my go -to dog walker moving forward!”

About: I adopted my first cat in 2018, and have been obsessed ever since. I currently have two cats, Mac and Marty, and they are my best friends. Since owning cats, I have been dedicated to educating myself about how to keep them happy, healthy, and feeling secure in their environment. I know to be extremely patient with cats, to let them set the rules and boundaries for how they want to interact with you, and to look out for changes in behavior that can act as subtle but very important health indicators. I also know that cats require a lot of attention, different kinds of enrichment, and a high level of care. I work from home full-time, so I am available most weekdays after 5pm and all day on weekends. I have flexibility within the day as well, depending on the length of a home visit. Demonstrating a high level of care for your home and pets is extremely important to me (I respect no-shoes-inside policies). I'm happy to adjust to you and your pets needs to make sure I am providing the highest level of service that I can. I aim to build confidence and trust that things are taken care of while you are away.

About: I’ve grown up around animals my entire life, including Bernese mountain dogs and cats, so I’m very comfortable caring for pets of all sizes and personalities. I’m 26, live in Mill Valley, and work as the general manager of two restaurants in San Francisco. Although my schedule can vary, I’m generally available in the mornings, on weekends, and for overnight care. I truly love spending time with animals, whether that means going for a walk, playing fetch at the park, or simply relaxing and giving them plenty of attention and affection. Since I’m not able to have a pet of my own right now, caring for other people’s dogs and cats is especially meaningful to me! I currently work as a restaurant general manager, so my mornings are usually open before I head to work in the afternoon around 1-3. I typically finish around 9–10 p.m. and am available for early-morning visits, overnight stays, and weekends. My schedule can vary slightly, but I’m happy to communicate clearly and coordinate a routine that works best for you and your pet. I’m unable to host animals in my home, but I’m available for pet sitting in a client’s home. I understand that every animal has their own personality, routine, and specific needs, so I always take the time to learn what makes them feel most comfortable. My priority is making sure your pet feels safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away. I’ve grown up with cats and dogs, so I’m comfortable around animals of different sizes and personalities. I’m dependable, respectful of your home, and happy to provide regular photos and updates.
About: Dogs are the light of my life! I've given forever homes to 7 German Shepherds, 2 Poodles and 4 Mixes. I've had extensive experience caring for them through various illnesses & am very knowledgeable about both their physical and emotional needs. I trained all of them myself with modernizing the methods as the practices changed over time. In High School I worked for a veterinary clinic washing dogs and administering vaccines as well as meds. I was a teacher for 20 years and am super resourceful. I've always had dogs. For me, life would be empty without them, and I'm one of these crazy people who would do absolutely anything to meet their needs!! You can definitely trust that I'll do everything to give your dog the best!! I LOVE DOGS & CATS!! Not to mention horses, ponies and rabbits! I love to house sit and spend my time with any wonderful canine or animal! They'll be given the absolute best of care and companionship when I'm there 24/7 the rest of the week! I'm a retired teacher of 20 years, in great physical condition, and want to do this full time. I LOVE DOGS AND CATS!! I've always worked in the helping professions as a teacher and behavioral case manager for the homeless. Now I want to do what means the most to me....spend my time with animals and give them the best experience possible!! Number 1, follow the directions of the client relative to their animals. Number 2, be respectful of their environment. Number 3, do all the extras possible for the animals including companionship. Number 4, leave the house as nice as it was on my arrival date.

About: I have always grown up with pets in the house! I’ve also sat a variety of animals, breeds and temperaments. Always been a big animal lover! I currently have a very flexible and open schedule. I love being active and outdoors and always love to have a pet companion for that! About: Hi there! My name is Bella, and I’d love to help care for your furry friends. I have six years of experience with pet and house sitting. I used to volunteer at the humane society, so I am very familiar and comfortable with animals and their needs. I've worked with dogs of all ages, sizes, and abilities (deaf, blind, etc.). I’m local to Sausalito, and am happy to help you out if you’re located in Marin. Feel free to shoot me a message if you have any questions! We both work remotely and have flexible schedules. My partner, Michael, is also on my account and he serves as my backup, in case I ever need it. :) Communication is key! About: I love and grew up around dogs- my family had a husky, a mutt, and a yellow lab. Since college I’ve dogsat for a number of family friends, neighbors, Rover dogs, etc. I’ve house sat, cared for, and walked dogs of all ages and conditions, from puppies and house training, to dogs with anxiety, to dogs recovering from surgery, to old dogs who require lots of patience and love and often have additional medical conditions. I’ve also house sat for cats (typically when house sitting for a dog as well), so very comfortable with cat care too. Also not scared of big dogs- they are some of the best! My current job and travel schedule don’t allow for having a dog full time, so until then I’ve got you covered for weekend trips! I wfh Fridays and am fully available on the weekends listed as open on my calendar. I’ve been on the road for the past several years but my schedule is finally settling down, allowing for me to restart Rover. I currently live in an apartment that is dog friendly, but does require going up a set of stairs, so for older dogs with knee conditions or rapid outdoor needs it might not be the best.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 8. I grew up with a dog since I was an baby. I was riled to walk, bathe, feed pets on a consistent period of time. I’m currently studying in Grad school for nursing, so I am home almost all day during the week and weekends. Pet care and the needs of the pets will be a high priority. I have a complete fenced in yard, and a kind heart dog that can keep your dog company. I have numerous dog toys and areas for them to have their own space. In other clients homes, I feel comfortable due to the numerous of time I have house or dog sat growing up.

“Aine showed up on very short notice today and took Django for an hour-long walk. He is a very energetic pup, so I was happy to hear that she had a good experience walking with him. He’s now sleeping soundly.”

Your dog will enjoy morning beach walks or trail hikes, or walks in a stroller if your pet has mobility issues. Daylight hours are spent being active, and evenings are resto-relaxo. I have a fenced and private front and backyard with fake grass for your pet to use. No stairs to navigate - single level home a block from the ocean. Just tell me your dogs energy level and exercise needs, and I’ll create the perfect doggy vacation!

“Michael was amazing with our rottie! Because she has some leash reactivity, we met him beforehand so he could meet her and go for a short walk. You could tell immediately that he loves dogs and was very comfortable with them (especially big dogs). He sent updates and pics/vids while she was with him and we picked up a very happy and tired pup. We will definitely be using Michael again in the future! Thanks Michael!!”

We looked so forward to the daily photos they sent (hi-light of our vacation). They gave daily updates on how our dog was doing and any questions we had were answered ASAP. When we go away again, we will definitely be contacting Molly & Stephen. Thank you”

We’ll definitely be booking with you again and highly recommend you to anyone looking for a wonderful dog sitter.”
