About: I’m a WFH dog mom in Berkeley with decades of experience caring for small and senior pups. I specialize in 0–40 lb dogs, seniors, and dogs who need a little extra patience or medication support. I’ve cared for dogs since I was 8, starting with neighborhood pups and eventually my own dog, Silky, who was with me for 17 years. Since then I’ve had two more dogs and regularly care for friends’, family’s, and neighbors’ pets. I’m comfortable following detailed routines, giving oral medications, and reinforcing training you’re already working on. My goal is for your dog to feel like part of the family while you’re away. PS If your dog enjoys (or needs lots of) exercise, I’m happy to provide long walks or gentle runs. I'm currently working from home so have plenty of time to spend with your pups! I am available during the day on weekdays and can coordinate nights and weekends. I live in a single‑family home in San Jose with a fully fenced, pup‑proofed yard. Your dog can relax on the couch, nap in the sun, or hang out with my friendly 14‑year‑old poodle‑terrier mix. Because I work from home, dogs are rarely left alone and can go out for potty breaks every 0–2 hours. I keep a close eye on introductions and always do slow, supervised meet‑and‑greets so everyone feels safe.

“Megan was fantastic! She took such great care of our poodle, Messi, and kept us updated every day with photos and messages, which gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. Messi also loved spending time with Megan’s daughter and quickly became friends with her sweet pups. It was clear he was happy and well cared for the entire time. Thank you, Megan! We’ll definitely be booking with you again and highly recommend you to anyone looking for a wonderful dog sitter.”

“Lori is the most compassionate and caring dog sitter I’ve ever met. My dog was injured while I was out of town, and she picked up and took care of my dog with such kindness and compassion. She communicated with me all throughout the day and night until I was able to make it back home. Ziggy & I are so grateful for her. I couldn’t recommend a sitter more!!! She’s amazing!!!”

“Elena and Holly were excellent sitters for my chihuahua mix Toaster. They were very communicative, responsible and Toaster was happy and healthy when I returned from my trip. I will definitely use them again!”

“Our dog had an amazing time with Diana! We got frequent updates on their fun adventures from the dog parks to running around her house and helping with homework (lol), and much more! Honestly our dog has been so well behaved after spending ~6 days with Diana. Highly recommend to everyone!”

“Sam was fantastic with Red. She is warms and welcoming and has a great set up for dogs. We were delayed getting home and Sam was flexible in keeping Red another night. It was really a great first experience and we’ll be back!”

“Rosa and Kevin were wonderful! They were super responsive, easy to communicate with and took such good care of our pups. It gave us a lot of peace of mind knowing our pups were well taken care of while we were traveling!”

“Jenna was so great watching our little Dachshund. She arrived almost 15 minutes early to our meeting point. I was worried because our dog had never been away from us . In addition he also has separation anxiety when I am not around. To our surprise he connected with Jenna right away and didn’t even notice when I sneaked away. She took care of our Elliott as if it was her own per. I can highly recommend Jenna and will for sure book her again if needed. Thanks again so much Jenna for giving us an enjoyable night out.”

“Deborah was fantastic! She was nice enough to accommodate us same day and could not have been nicer. We could tell instantly when we arrived that she was going to take great care of our dog Otto. She took him on walks, took him to the beach, sent lots of great photos, and even bought him some pup cups! Her children were also absolutely lovely and obviously made Otto feel comfortable and welcome. Highly recommend using Deborah services! You cannot go wrong!”

“Bee is very responsive and caring. Ruby had a slightly hard first night being away from us but Bee was so caring and kind that Ruby quickly adjusted and had a great time with Soju! We will definitely be back.”

“Megan was so great with our French Bulldog, Avocado for a long weekend! She treated her like a queen, lots of walks and play and attention. She has a great dog friendly home and neighborhood in a very convenient location in Marin. We loved getting periodic updates and videos of how she was doing. Highly recommenced Megan and would love to have Avocado stay with her again.”

“Karen is great! She kept my dog Olive over the weekend recently. When Olive and I went for the meet and greet, Olive made no growling noises(which she usually does either new people), and was prancing around smiling while we were there. She sent lots of pictures and took great care of Ms Olive. Her dog Tulip was also a generous host. Don’t hesitate to book a stay or walk with Karen 🌸🐾”

“Shannon was wonderful. The boys loved her. I was worried about leaving them for days, as I never had, but once we met Shannon, those fears evaporated. She came for a couple short visits prior to my trip. They took to her immediately, and while I was away she sent videos and pics multiple times per day. Really couldn't be happier!”

“Laura did a couple drop ins to check on my kitties while I was gone! She was amazing. The best pictures, made sure they were taken care of, and I felt like my home was safe with her checking in. Definitely do not hesitate to book her!”

About: I have had pets my entire life since I was a child and I absolutely adore them! I consider myself a highly sensitive person and that helps me stay attuned both to humans and pets! I have a flexible work from home job and because of that pet sitting fits smoothly with my daily and weekly routine. I can adjust as needed! I feed them on time, play with them during play hours and make sure that they feel safe and take care of. I would make sure to read the pet body language and make sure to give them enough space when they’re shy or not ready to interact!

“Genna was amazing! She took great care of my cat Nutella. She brushed her, played with her, fed her and gave her lots of love. She offered to meet before and noted down everything on Nutella routine. Also a bird got into the apartment and Nutella killed it, and Genna took care of everything, even vacuumed. Genna was amazing, I highly recommend her”

“Anjali is amazing. She is prompt, detailed, and very communicative. She let me know exactly what was going on with each kitty, and most importantly, they love her. One of my cats is slow to warm up to people, and he took to Anjali after just a couple of days. I'm so grateful!”

“Caroline did a great job checking in with my kitty! When I leave my cat alone she gets stressed out and lets me know when I get back by acting out. Caroline was able to reduce her stress when I had to leave (in the middle of moving in) and my kitty was happy and well behaved when I got back. I loved all of the photos she sent each check-in and knowing she was being cared for. Will be booking with her again!”

I live at the beach, so your pup will get long beach walks and/or mountain trail hikes during the day, then sleepy downtime at night. It’s a pet paradise! Update 2/26: I just adopted a mastiff, so I’m not doing any in home boarding until I get her settled in her new home, but I’m still happy to do drop ins or walks for other dogs. About: Howdy I’m Serena! I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember, and caring for them has always been a natural part of my life. Growing up, I raised and looked after a variety of animals—including turtles, bunnies, and kittens—which taught me early on that every pet has their own personality, needs, and boundaries. As I got older, I became the go-to person for walking dogs and helping friends and neighbors care for their pets, gaining experience with everything from large, high-energy dogs to shy small pets and senior cats. Core Skills & Experience: -Comfortable with all sizes and temperaments (large dogs, small dogs, cats, kittens, seniors) -Kitten & puppy care, including play, supervision, and positive engagement Senior pet care with patience, gentle handling, and routine consistency -Skilled with high-energy pets and structured walks/playtime -Strong at building trust with shy or anxious animals -Cat-focused care: playful engagement + respecting boundaries and cues -Detail-oriented with feeding schedules, routines, and updates -Experience managing multiple pets at once -Basic pet CPR knowledge What sets me apart is my ability to adapt to each animal. Whether that means keeping up with an energetic dog who needs structure and exercise, or taking a slower, more gentle approach with older pets who need extra care and consistency, I focus on meeting them where they are. I especially love caring for cats. I enjoy playing with them, keeping them mentally engaged, and just as importantly, respecting their boundaries. I pay close attention to their behavior and take the time to build trust at their pace—something that’s especially important for shy or more independent cats. Above all, my goal is simple: to make your pet feel happy, secure, and cared for—like you never left. For safety and peace of mind, I also make it a strict rule to never board dogs and cats together, ensuring a calm and secure environment for every pet in my care.

“Isabella and Michael were great at watching Fifi! They followed my instructions to a T and sent very cute picture updates! Would absolutely have them watch her again! Very communicative and friendly ☺️”

About: In a past life, I swear I was a cat. My family's cat has brought love into our house and extended it beyond watching neighbors' and friends' cats. I am their favorite meal and treat giver, cuddle buddy and companion.

“We just moved to the area and are thrilled to meet Halee! We did a quick meet and greet and then sent our dog for the day. I was particularly appreciative that when our timing changed, Halee went above and beyond to be flexible with us. She took our dog on really long walks, and he came home so happy! She even gave me some helpful tips, when asked, of how to train and support our dog. We liked her so much. We are already doing an overnight with her later this week. She loves dogs and was willing to price her services competitively which we really appreciate. We highly recommend her!”

More importantly, Rusty had an amazing experience with Ellen as well. Her care for him was evident through outstanding communication and a joyful pup upon return! Thanks Ellen, I know Rusty looks forward to seeing you again soon!”

“Go was great with my Shiba Inu and took great care of him. Momo got to go to the park every single day!! Received plenty of love from him and he seemed very happy from all the pictures I was sent. Highly recommend!!”
“Sylvia and her family took great care of our golden retriever Riley. Drop off and pick up was easy and accommodating around our schedule. They provided many pictures of their daily walks with other dogs, trips to the mill valley dog park, Riley swimming, and relaxing. Our dog is a girly girl and is also our shadow and I know Sylvia took great care of her and made her feel welcome.”

About: Loving dog parent to a 3-year-old Rough Collie, experienced in daily walks, feeding, grooming, routines, and patient care, providing calm, reliable, home-style attention every weekend. “I work full-time during weekdays, but pet care fits naturally into my routine. I’m available early mornings, evenings, and weekends, and I plan my schedule to ensure pets receive consistent attention, walks, feeding, and companionship. I prioritize pet care commitments and only accept bookings I can fully support.” “Safety and trust are my top priorities. I’m a dog parent myself and understand daily routines, supervision, and consistency. I follow each pet’s care instructions closely, keep doors and leashes secure, and ensure calm, attentive care. In my home, dogs are welcomed into a clean, dog-friendly space alongside my well-socialized Rough Collie. In clients’ homes, I respect their space, follow routines exactly, and provide regular updates for peace of mind.”
“Molly and Stephen did a wonderful job taking care of my senior Lab during his overnight stay. Even though he’s older, he still has plenty of energy, and they balanced his need for comfort and activity. They made sure he was cozy in his bed at night, let him enjoy their lovely backyard for breaks, and took him on a fun “sniff-rari” walk in the morning. When we picked him up, he looked happy, relaxed, and well cared-for. I really appreciate the thoughtful attention they gave him during his short stay!”

“Mike is a fantastic Rover dad. Great communication before and during the stay. He really understands dog needs. Kobe got many, many good walks and play time. He's staying with Mike again next month and I know it will be just as successful.”

About: I've loved being around animals for as long as I can remember. Since middle school, I've helped take care of dogs by walking them, bathing them, feeding them, playing with them, and giving them lots of attention. Being around pets has always been something I enjoy, and I treat every animal like they're my own. Right now I live with two dogs, Taco and Balu, so taking care of dogs is part of my everyday routine. I know every dog has their own personality and needs, and I always try to make them feel comfortable, safe, and loved while their family is away. Pet care fits very well into my routine. I’m currently unemployed because the restaurant I worked at unexpectedly closed, which means I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give pets the attention and care they deserve. Whether it's walks, playtime, feeding, or just keeping them company, I’m able to be fully present and make sure they feel safe and comfortable while you're away. Whether I'm caring for a pet in my home or in a client's home, my priority is making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I always follow the owner's instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications if needed, and any specific routines. I know that pets are happiest when they can stick to what they're used to. I also make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and fresh water throughout the day. I'll treat your home with respect and keep it clean while you're away. My goal is to make sure your pet is happy and well cared for, so you can have peace of mind knowing they're in good hands.
“Lily was super great! Great communication and she updated with photos of Yuki during the entire stay, showcasing him chilling, him on walks, potty breaks, etc. She was super friendly off the bat and I highly recommend her and will use her services again in the future!”
