About: I myself have pets and I too am hesitant to leave anyone with them. I will treat your pet like it’s my own and keep you updated every step of the way! I am actively trying to get as many steps in as I can per day, so I love going on long walks! But I also love chilling on the couch with a shy or non-active pet. About: Hello! My name is Lyanne and I have been a teacher for 20 years. I currently am developing curriculum for National Geographic and love to go on walks and explore. I had two dogs that lived 12.5 and 15 years and they were my lifeline. I have cat sat and dog sat for the past 3 years through word of mouth and love creating deep bonds with the animals I care for. Long walks or fun play, keeping their schedules regular is my goal. I will tend to your pet throughout the day since this is my time off and I would not be working. This means, early morning wake up, 30 minutes to an hour walk, 30 minute rest, feeding, followed by relaxation and play until noon. At around noon, another walk (30 minute) and/or play or relaxing depending on energy level of the dog and finally evening, another walk and/or play. If you have a yard, there would be intermittent outdoor time throughout the day, especially as some dogs love to sunbathe, smell flowers, or chase lizards. Basically, I will tend to their needs and make them feel as comfortable as they could be without their owners around. I can take your pet on walks 2-3 times a day (less or more if you would like) and tend to their needs. Since I will be doing this during my time off, I will mostly be home with the dogs (at most 2-3 hours away total doing groceries or going to gym). I can crate your dog if needed, but they will mostly be with me. If there are parks around, I will gladly take them there.

Talia did such an amazing job taking care of my beautiful dog Phoenix and my sweet little cat Sadie while I was on vacation in Michigan with my family. Phoenix got lots of exercise and hiking adventures and Sadie got lots of love. Talia was very communicative with me and sent photos of my sweet pets regularly, and my home was spotless when I returned. Would definitely ask Talia to watch my pets again. Five stars! Juliana was a fantastic pet- and house-sitter. She took our dog on many fun outings and spent lots of time with her. Our dog actually seemed a little sad to have Juliana leave at the end of the week-long stay. Juliana took great care of the house as well, and communicated extremely well when a couple of minor issues came up. We highly recommend Juliana without any hesitation.
Kora was an excellent dog/house sitter. She was very responsive and sent us updates and photos of our dog throughout our trip. I felt very comfortable having her in our home and she was very respectful of it. We will be sure to book Kora for all of our future dogsitting needs.
We feel like we hit the jackpot when we discovered Claire! And we would not hesitate to book her again to stay with our two pets!!! Claire came by ahead of time for a meet-and-greet, and even our kids immediately loved her. They actually asked if she could come back and babysit, which she very kindly offered to do. While we were away, Claire sent photos and videos of our dog and cat, and clearly gave our pets loads of TLC. Our cat, who is usually pretty fussy with strangers, seemed completely relaxed and happy, which says everything!!! Our coonhound can also be a handful on walks and Claire handled her without a single issue all week!! When we got back from our trip late at night, the pets were calm and cozy, and it was such a relief to walk in and feel like everything had been so well cared for. We had such peace of mind with Claire at our house, looking after our pets, and we look forward to working with her again soon. Thanks again, Claire!!!!
Marc did a wonderful job taking care of our cats while we were away. He followed their feeding schedule perfectly, spent time keeping them company, and made sure they were well cared for. He was very communicative and sent regular updates and photos, which we really appreciated. We felt completely at ease knowing they were in good hands.
