About: Although I have never owned a dog myself, I have several years of experience caring for family dogs. My sister has had a dog since 2016, and my mom got a dog in 2023. I regularly help care for them when my family is out of town, including feeding them on schedule, providing fresh food and water, taking them on walks, and making sure they are safe and comfortable. While I do not have extensive pet-sitting experience, I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs and caring for them with patience, love, and responsibility. I would be grateful for the opportunity to care for your furry friend and appreciate the trust you place in me. I am a full-time student during the weekdays and a mom to a 6 six year old girl who also loves dogs. I am available in the evenings to take your dog on a walk. I am also available anytime on the weekend to board your pup or to take them for walks. I make sure dogs are safe and comfortable while in my home and I let them lead their walks. I keep them on a secure leash at all times, pay attention to their surroundings, allow them time to sniff and explore, and make sure they release enough energy without getting them overtired.

About: I grew up with cats and dogs and even started my own dog walking business when I was ten. I love animals … maybe even more than people. 😂 I’d be honored to care for your cats and dogs while you’re away. I would love to help you care for your pets when my children are at school…and if it’s okay for them to visit with your sweet dogs and cats as well I have TONS of flexibility all day. I am very careful with pets. They are part of the family. Please tell me what you feel comfortable with and I will follow the instructions to the last detail. I have so much love to give these animals and am hoping to get to spend my time with helping them not miss you too much while you’re away.

About: I have taking of dogs for about to years of all kind. I love them. Neighbors have relied on me to take of there dogs. Hi, I work part time and I go to school over the weekdays.so, I’m free to take care of your dogs over the weekend, and during school breaks. I I live by myself in my apartment of a bedroom and a living room and there is a patio that I could walk with your dog or take him for a walk or just play with him. I really love dogs and I really want to have one, but I can’t at the moment because I don’t make that much money to have one.
About: I’ve cared for dogs in a wide range of situations, including senior dogs, special-needs pups, and dogs recovering from injuries. Most dogs love nature, and it's exciting to see them perk up on walks at the sound of chirping birds, rustling brush, or a skittering lizard. There are great dog-friendly nature paths in Novato and San Rafael that give the pups both sniffing and social opportunities, so they come home tired and content. What I’m especially good at is communication. I pay close attention to a dog’s eyes, ears, posture, and energy, because they tell you so much before they ever make a sound. I use a gentle “dog voice” (yes, the sweet baby-talk voice) and clear, steady cues, because many dogs respond quickly to warmth, tone, and consistency. Even anxious or shy dogs usually soften when they realize they’re being understood. I’ve also cared for large dogs, and my Labrador retriever loves having big buddies to play with. No matter the size, age, or temperament, I’m respectful of each dog’s individual needs, and I make sure they feel safe, seen, and truly cared for with plenty of affection, attention, patience, and exercise. I currently work from home, and I have a (mostly) flexible schedule. I like to get out with my dog two times a day for 2+ mile walks on local trails and parks. I respect people's spaces, and I am good at following detailed instructions for homes and their pets. I have references and happy clients to tell you about it!

Nahir & Mitchell looked after our dog Lilly for three weeks while we were away. She had only met them once but from the beginning we could tell she felt comfortable with them. Jaimi was exceptional! Having just rolled into town from out of state and posting my dogsitting need on Rover on short notice, Jaimi was quick to provide a friendly response as well as to answer my rapid fire questions, offering a meet and greet with she and her cute and well-behaved dog, Ollie. My dog (whom I rarely place into a stranger’s care) has a history of seizures and is need of routine pill administration and careful oversight. Jaimi was super attentive and followed my protocol to a “t”. My dog loved her, Ollie and the family, as did I. I will use her again in an instant and refer her to my friends and family.
Laura & Joseph were absolutely wonderful. They were incredibly responsive, kept us updated with great photos, and made us feel completely at ease. When we picked Rainbow up, she was calm and relaxed, which honestly never happens when we leave her with others. That alone says so much about the care and attention they gave her. Ron is a rockstar! This was our first time using Rover as we are usually full-time in our RV and take our dog, Koda, with us everywhere but had a retreat he could not come with. It was our first time leaving him with a new person and Ron soothed our fear immediately. We did a virtual meet and greet which was helpful in making sure he was a good fit and when the time came we dropped Koda off early to ease him in. Ron was the greatest sending us pupdates and took Koda on a 5-mile run and hike which are his favorites! He was taken care of with extraordinary care and we would not hesitate to use Ron again when in town. Maria was absolutely wonderful in every way with my 2 Labs. So thoughtful & thorough - she made them feel right at home. She has an amazing space & yard as well as the most adorable pup. It felt to good to know they were in great hands. I’d have them stay with her again in a heartbeat!
Kathryn & her beautiful black lab Ogden as well as their home-sanctuary was unbelievable and the care & amount of love and attention that they exhibited for and with our little girl Aka was more than we could of expected. Aka was elated, overjoyed, and in-love from the moment we did a meet-and-greet, and the drop-off and pick-up moments felt like she was truly in heaven. Her black lab Ogden, was one of the most gentle and kind large dogs I have ever seen, he was very polite, welcoming, and was so gentle when asking Aka to play — she has been known to be shy and often struggled to introduce play with other dogs (but NOT with Ogden). I think she has found a 2nd home, a new dog-lover & best friend, and we will be returning more often to hang out & of course use Kathryn’s services in the future when needed!
