It is abundantly clear that Sophie, an energetic college student trying to earn some money on Rover, could not be more motivated to take phenomenal care of your cherished companion. About: I've had dogs in my life since I was a middle schooler. Between my family dogs and dogs who have lived in my home since then I have been responsible for at least 7 dogs, of all shapes, sizes and demeanors. I've kept moody Dachshunds, energetic Shelties, even tempered Retrievers and even rescue Pitbulls. I love hiking and getting outdoors, and bringing a canine friend along. I currently have one dog of my own, a peppy rescue mix, and he is my best friend I am available to dog/house sit very regularly. I am an ecological land designer working most days from home with the exception of days where I need to do a site visit or connect with my team in person. I can pretty much work from anywhere with a good internet connection, so most days would be able to be around in case your dog needs more frequent walks or attention. In addition to dogs I love other pets and plants! If you have house plants, a veggie garden or other plants that need some watering or attention while you're away I'll be able to help in the department as well! I work from home most days, so I am able to be flexible around a pets needs regarding feeding, walks, and medication. Ocassionally I do have to leave home for work, and that is typically up to 4 hours. We have one dog at home and since we don't have a yard, we typically take him up on the ridge to walk, or to the Red hill Dog park or San Quentin beach. These are great places to have some fun exercise

About: I’ve worked with many different animals, including cats, dogs, birds, hamsters. I love working and caring for them. Patience is needed to make your furry friends feel comfortable. I’ve worked with many large dog breeds, which include malamutes, German shepherds, pitbulls and even Akita’s. I’m currently work during the day so I am free most evenings Sunday through Thursday. I have more availability on Fridays and Saturdays during the day. I make sure the pets are in safe areas for them so that they don’t get into anything that isn’t safe. I make sure to give them space but follow them just in case. I want them feel comfortable in their space.

Normally they would just play in the back but our yard was too flooded to permit it. Lydia jumped in to help on very short notice and in the middle of some crazy weather. She was punctual and took Nova out on a different walk each morning that we needed her. She is communicative, responsible, and took good care of our spoiled princess baby. I highly recommend her!”

About: I was raised in a home full of dogs and cats. We took in any and all strays. Even had a pet duck that lived to be 12 years old. I have bottle fed puppies that the mom dog was too spoiled to care for and my English Bulldog taught me so much about how to deal with a dog with medical challenges. I'm patient and kind. I'm currently working as an assistant TK teacher and I only work part-time so I have plenty of time to watch over your fur babies. My apt is safe and I can take them on neighborhood walks or hikes. I'm fully capable of taking care of dogs or cats in my home or yours.
