“Megan was very, kind, considerate and attentive with walking our dog Prescott! She’s was very thorough with his needs- as he recently injured his paw after swimming & hiking for a few days. She took it slow with him. Megan is also very organized in that she clarified walking times with me so I had the correct dates in for his walk. Appreciate you helping us out, would book with her again. Thanks a bunch Megan!”

About: Hello ! Although I am new to Rover, I've taken care of dogs and cats most of my life and have always had a natural connection with them. When they're in my care I treat them as if they are my own babies. In recent years I have often taken care of my sister's dog Juniper. We have a special bond and she's taught me so much about being a dog aunt :) I helped train her as a puppy and watching her grow up has been a source of so much joy in my life. Many people have observed my warm way with animals especially cats and dogs. I am very attentive, affectionate and protective with them. With that said I also know how to read them and respect their space/needs. I am currently finishing up my degree this Fall semester and have class once a week. I am flexible most of the week including weekends. I am available to dog or cat sit. If your dog or cat has special needs I am able to provide basic support and care. I am also available for dog walking services as well.
“Gage is so great! My dog is truly hit or miss with humans and the moment Gage walked in the door, he was immediately excited and happy to have found a new friend. Gage is always on time, incredibly thoughtful and polite and a true dog whisperer. He’s taken such great care of my boy while going through postpartum recovery and I couldn’t have made it the past four months without him. I would never chose to go with anyone else but sadly, we are moving and I hope my dog will remember that I can be fun too! I highly recommend Gage to anyone, you won’t regret his immense kindness and respect for animals, five stars all around!”

About: I have decades of experience caring for cats and dogs of all ages breeds. I'm a stay at home parent with older kids that would dote over your pet as much as they obsess over our resident Great Pyrenees. Your pet is part of our family as long as they're with us. I'm a stay at home parent so I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule for house sitting, boarding and last minute care for your pet. I have a fenced yard where your pet has access to our home and outside. I am home most of the time to tend to their needs and can help with medication administration as well.

About: I provide a calm environment in-home and exciting fun-filled adventures outside. Marin is my backyard and I love taking pups on hikes and to the beach. I have a 6-year old dog full time and she is great with all dogs. I've taken care of all kinds of dogs, from those that love to play to older dogs that need more one on one time. I'm comfortable with on and off-leash walks and am very attentive to dogs with unique triggers that need to be managed. I will provide a loving, caring environment with your dog where they can feel right at home and be their best self. I'm currently working part-time so I'm available throughout the day and evenings. I'm available weekdays and weekends. I live near a massive trail system, dog parks and the beach, so can customize your dog's stay based on what they love most. I have a 6-year old friendly dog, Chilli, in home to keep your pup company. I take Chilli on 2 big adventure walks each day and adjust that schedule for other dogs as needed, including additional potty breaks and play time. Dogs can be crated or not, depending on how they're most comfortable. Chilli roams freely in the house throughout the day and I often keep our patio door open for her to lounge in the sun.

About: Hi, I’m a teacher M-F and I’m hoping to earn extra $ to offset travel expenses from this past summer and to save for future travel. I love animals and think of this as a win/ win! The photos in my profile are of dogs I’ve cared for over the years (for friends, neighbors, family, and through Trusted Housesitters where I’ve stayed in people’s homes). I look forward to meeting you and your treasured pet. Free and flexible during the day and evening! During the summer months I don’t work. During the school year I’m free between 4pm - 10pm. I’m happy to care for pets in my own home once I’ve gotten to know them as a dog walker. I live near Hampton Park and it is a very dog friendly neighborhood.
About: I'm a lifelong pet guardian who has worked in veterinary offices, animal shelters, and volunteered at an animal sanctuary. I'm confident with all ages and have substantial experience with behavioral challenges. Caring for / being with / exercising / playing with animals is an integral part of my life. I have lived with dogs and sometimes cats for all of my adult life. Prior to pet-sitting, I meet the animal(s) and guardian to discuss their companion's routines regarding: feeding, activities, timing, cleaning supplies and medical needs. I typically pet-sit in the animals home. I keep the housing/yard/litter boxes clean. Routine consistency: Strictly adhere to their dog-walking routes, feeding times, and medication schedules.Security: Double-check gates, doors, and fences upon entry and exit to prevent accidental escapes.Environment management: Secure hazardous items (e.g., cleaning supplies, human food) and adjust thermostats for weather extremes

About: I have always grown up with pets in the house! I’ve also sat a variety of animals, breeds and temperaments. Always been a big animal lover! I currently have a very flexible and open schedule. I love being active and outdoors and always love to have a pet companion for that! About: Dogs are the light of my life! I've given forever homes to 7 German Shepherds, 2 Poodles and 4 Mixes. I've had extensive experience caring for them through various illnesses & am very knowledgeable about both their physical and emotional needs. I trained all of them myself with modernizing the methods as the practices changed over time. In High School I worked for a veterinary clinic washing dogs and administering vaccines as well as meds. I was a teacher for 20 years and am super resourceful. I've always had dogs. For me, life would be empty without them, and I'm one of these crazy people who would do absolutely anything to meet their needs!! You can definitely trust that I'll do everything to give your dog the best!! I LOVE DOGS & CATS!! Not to mention horses, ponies and rabbits! I love to house sit and spend my time with any wonderful canine or animal! They'll be given the absolute best of care and companionship when I'm there 24/7 the rest of the week! I'm a retired teacher of 20 years, in great physical condition, and want to do this full time. I LOVE DOGS AND CATS!! I've always worked in the helping professions as a teacher and behavioral case manager for the homeless. Now I want to do what means the most to me....spend my time with animals and give them the best experience possible!! Number 1, follow the directions of the client relative to their animals. Number 2, be respectful of their environment. Number 3, do all the extras possible for the animals including companionship. Number 4, leave the house as nice as it was on my arrival date.
About: As a lifelong Belvedere resident and fellow dog parent, I understand how important it is to find someone you trust with both your pet and your home. I have hands-on experience caring for dogs of different ages and temperaments, including anxious and reactive dogs, and I've spent years working alongside trainers using positive reinforcement techniques. I provide reliable, personalized care, clear communication, and regular updates so you can have peace of mind while you're away! • Flexible availability for dog walks, drop-in visits, and overnight house sitting • Reliable weekday availability, particularly during daytime hours • Weekend and overnight stays are frequently available with advance notice • Happy to accommodate both short-term and extended bookings whenever scheduling allows • I intentionally limit the number of clients I take on so I can provide attentive, personalized care to every pet • Feel free to reach out with specific dates or needs—I'm always happy to discuss availability! Even if the dates aren't showing as available on this calendar :) As a fellow dog parent and lifelong Belvedere resident with deep roots in the community, I understand how much trust is involved in inviting someone into your home and caring for a beloved pet. My goal is to make both you and your pet feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while you're away. I strive to follow each family's routines, preferences, and pet care instructions as closely as possible so that your dog can remain happy and secure in their familiar environment. Whether it's feeding schedules, medication, walking routines, house rules, favorite activities, or bedtime rituals, I believe every pet deserves individualized care. I also take pride in being a respectful guest. I'll treat your home, belongings, and privacy with care and consideration, and I always aim to leave things exactly as I found them—or better. I'm naturally organized, dependable, and detail-oriented, and I understand that peace of mind comes from knowing both your pet and your home are in good hands. You'll receive regular updates and photos throughout my stay so you can relax knowing everything is being well tended while you're away!
About: I have done about 50+ petsits including 3 farm sits (MY FAVOURITE!) I love hiking, long walks and snuggling at home with the fur babies. I was outside of the US and have met clients outside of the app while traveling, that is why my reviews here are not recent. I can offer recent references from the past few months from my pet sitting clients. ❤️ I am still available to book here. I call the animals I take care of "my babies." I can run outside with the dogs 3 hours per day. I am a homebody and work online, so for me it's heaven to be inside the home with beautiful pets. That is actually my idea of a dreamy day. I would be a great sitter for an animal who wants lots of company or who isn't used to being alone. I can be out less than 2 hours per day if requested. I also respect the space and preferences of animals. I think about making them happy first, not them making me happy. I love long walks and making sure Dogs who need to run off leash, do so. I also love playing games like tug of war and fetch. I'm able to spend several hours per day to play with and excercise the Dogs. I research about each breed before I accept the sit and I now have experience with different breeds. I send photos and videos every day. You may have to tell me when you think it's too much. I filled up a lot of my memory on my phone and solid state drive with the pets I've taken care of, but I can't delete the photos. It's like deleting photos of your kids. Not possible. Excited to hear from you. I sure have enjoyed the love of pets and I hope to be able to continue enjoying caring for pets. Amazingly. I work better when there are pets around. I already prefer to be home. I'm the type of person that reminds myself to go out of the house and be among people. The one thing I am good at is taking walks every day, so that habit also works well when I'm taking care of Dogs who like walks. I could walk a Dog more than their used to even, if the owners thinks it will make them happy. I am used to preparing special foods for Dogs and Cats, being sure animals don't escape. I would say I go into Mommy mode once I'm with the animals. When there are more than two pets in the house, if I snuggle with one, I will then go to snuggle and give attention to the other one. If the other animal loves playing fetch, I may snuggle the animal, then play fetch after. I don't play loud music around the animals. Although I also don't like loud music when I'm alone .
“This last week, Isabel it has been a lifesaver for us and our two four legged children. Isabel was very compassionate and thoughtful with all the caring of our boys. We can't thank her enough for her amazing work!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Tiburon
Ella was fantastic walking my 4 year old cattle dog. He is high energy and she brought him back happy with a wagging tail and panting. He sometimes takes a bit to get to know someone but he immediately warmed up to Ella. You can tell she has the right demeanor and a calming presence working with animals. Would highly recommend!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
