“Andy is the best pet sitter any pet parent can ask for. We had to go out of the country for two weeks, the longest we’ve been away from home and pet. Andy took care of our home and looked after our cat during the entire time, playing with her, keeping her engaged and sending us constant updates and pictures of her. About: Hi! Since I was 15, I’ve been responsible for taking care of my family’s dogs, foster dogs, neighbors cats, and other friends pets of all sorts, and have always loved giving them the attention, care, love, and activity that they need to thrive! I’ve taken dogs for long or short walks, stopped in to feed cats, or stayed overnight for multiple days for full pet care experience. I’ve missed caring for pets since moving to California from Michigan and am excited to spend time with animals again, especially by taking them on great walks around the neighborhood or caring for them in the comfort of their homes! I’m working full time about 8-4, but some days I work from home, and otherwise have a flexible schedule for walking or house sitting pets on evenings or weekends. She had my care notes printed and ready when I dropped Lola off, asked thoughtful questions, and kept me updated throughout the week with lots of photos—which brought so much peace of mind while I was traveling. She was also incredibly flexible, even adjusting plans when my flight was delayed and willing to drop Lola off when I returned. It’s clear she genuinely cares about the dogs she watches and takes the responsibility seriously. Lola was safe and well cared for, and I really appreciated the attention Sonia gave to all of her special needs. “Our Luna girl stayed with Adam and Julie for over a week and this was herfirst stay with them. We did do a meet and greet a couple months before the actual stay so we had an idea if Luna liked Adam and Julie. Luna is normally a fairly reactive young puppy like adolescent with frequent barking and lungeing at people and dogs that distress her which can be many people and dogs. We went to their home for the meet and greet and Luna was fairly comfortable with Adam and Julie right off the bat. That was definitely a good sign. Two months later and Luna now 2 months older and more mellow has her stay with Adam and Julie. We picked Luna up after our trip and she was happy, playful, and reacted like she had a good stay. Julie and Adam gave us a full report and it seems everything went well. We got a daily picture of Luna sent via text which made us very happy to connect with her. Thanks to Adam and Julie for taking good care of our girl while we were on vacation.”
About: Hi! I'm an artist working from home who loves spending time with pets and has a little black cat at home. I often pet sit for friends, from short visits to boarding for several days, so I’m very comfortable with daily routines like walks, feeding, playtime, and just keeping pets company so they feel safe and happy. I also tend to take way too many photos, so you can expect lots of photo updates while I'm with your pet! I work from home doing freelance work, so my schedule is pretty flexible and I’m able to plan my day around pet care, whether that’s walks, drop-ins, or staying with them for longer periods. I’m available for boarding, house sitting, and walks, and I like keeping a consistent routine so pets feel comfortable and not rushed. I live in an apartment right next to Washington Square Park and Coit Tower, so it’s really easy to get dogs out for nice long walks and some additional short walks to get some fresh air! I also have a 3-year-old cat who’s used to being around dogs. I keep my place clean and calm, and I pay attention to how each pet is feeling so they’re comfortable. I’m also happy to follow any routines or instructions so things feel familiar for them.

I’m experienced in caring for puppies, high-energy pets, and multi-pet households, as well as elderly pets and dogs that don’t want to walk. I work full time as a mental health counselor, and I bring the same positively and patience that I have for my human clients as I do for my canine and feline ones. :) I work from home and have a highly variable schedule, often have time in the mornings and evenings, and various pockets throughout the day to care for your pets. I have a pet-friendly apartment with lots of sunlight and windows for pets to look out onto the street. I love nearby the beach and many grassy parks for walks and playtime.
