I raised a Bichon puppy and later cared for her as a 12 year old senior dog. I have fostered and helped to train 4 rescue dogs through the Milo Foundation and frequently pop by to volunteer walk Milo dogs. I am an executive who works from home so I am at the dog's side non-stop and have the flexibility to take several walks a day. I'm also a 5 minute drive to Blackie's Pasture for longer walks. I have a super clean home. The dogs are allowed everywhere. I have a very clean, safe home. I also have access to popular dog parks/walks. I pay close attention to dietary restrictions, etc. And when it comes to passing another dog on leash I always ask if the dog is friendly. About: Shelby grew up with Labrador retrievers ever since she was 5 years old. She has experience with medication administration, ear cleaning, walking, and more. We have a 2.5 year old dachshund who we crate, potty, and leash trained. We are both dog lovers with some of our friends saying Shelby is “the most dog obsessed person I’ve ever met.” We will strive to make your dog feel as comfortable as possible while respecting any rules and boundaries you have in your own home. We absolutely love every kind of dog and would give your fur baby 5 star care ⭐️ We both work from home, so our schedules are very flexible. We take our dog out 3 times a day for potty breaks and several walks a day. We can really take your dog out whenever is needed, as one of us is always available. Our home is very, very dog proof. Our dog loves to eat everything so we’re very mindful of keeping things tidy. Especially with larger dogs, we put away our dogs smaller toys, so that there’s no possibility of them being ingested (there’s the labrador experience haha!) we will be around and loving your pet 24/7 while they’re in our care ❤️

“Kara and Val were a godsend when we needed a last minute sitter for our pup. Kara was prompt and responsive in setting up a meet & greet where she got to talk with us and get to know Petunia a little bit. We were nervous as it was our first time leaving her, but she warmed up to Kara, Val and their adorable daughter Mae quite quickly! Kara was great about sending updates and photos and made us feel secure, at ease and able to enjoy our time away. Cannot recommend them enough 🐶😁”

“Betty was a fantastic dog sitter and we recommend her highly. We were a little nervous to leave our dog for a long two week stay given our dog has a bit of stranger danger and it was their first time staying with a sitter in the sitter’s home. Thus, we wanted a sitter who was familiar with dog body language and had a lot of experience. Betty fit those criteria perfectly, was extremely communicative, and sent us frequent updates with pictures everyday. Our dog also really seemed to enjoy Betty’s dog Jacques’s company and they had a fun time playing together daily as well.”

“Henri had a great weekend at Paulina’s! She came out to greet us and then took the leash and introduced Henri to her home-he was so comfortable with her from the start. Our dog has hardly been away from us in his 7 years and I was a little nervous about leaving him with someone new, but I soon realized I had nothing to worry about. Paulina is a very relaxed person and sent updates and adorable photos each day. It made me happy to see him look so at home with her. Don’t let her lack of a backyard discourage you-Henri was happy and tired when we picked him up. We will call on her whenever we need a dog sitter for when we visit our daughter in SF. Paulina was an absolute lifesaver and we are so happy to have found her!”
About: Shelby grew up with Labrador retrievers ever since she was 5 years old. She has experience with medication administration, ear cleaning, walking, and more. We have a 2.5 year old dachshund who we crate, potty, and leash trained. We are both dog lovers with some of our friends saying Shelby is “the most dog obsessed person I’ve ever met.” We will strive to make your dog feel as comfortable as possible while respecting any rules and boundaries you have in your own home. We absolutely love every kind of dog and would give your fur baby 5 star care ⭐️ We both work from home, so our schedules are very flexible. We take our dog out 3 times a day for potty breaks and several walks a day. We can really take your dog out whenever is needed, as one of us is always available. Our home is very, very dog proof. Our dog loves to eat everything so we’re very mindful of keeping things tidy. Especially with larger dogs, we put away our dogs smaller toys, so that there’s no possibility of them being ingested (there’s the labrador experience haha!) we will be around and loving your pet 24/7 while they’re in our care ❤️

“Our Luna girl stayed with Adam and Julie for over a week and this was herfirst stay with them. We did do a meet and greet a couple months before the actual stay so we had an idea if Luna liked Adam and Julie. Luna is normally a fairly reactive young puppy like adolescent with frequent barking and lungeing at people and dogs that distress her which can be many people and dogs. We went to their home for the meet and greet and Luna was fairly comfortable with Adam and Julie right off the bat. That was definitely a good sign. Two months later and Luna now 2 months older and more mellow has her stay with Adam and Julie. We picked Luna up after our trip and she was happy, playful, and reacted like she had a good stay. Julie and Adam gave us a full report and it seems everything went well. We got a daily picture of Luna sent via text which made us very happy to connect with her. Thanks to Adam and Julie for taking good care of our girl while we were on vacation.”
