Hi, I am Perry. I am a certified dog trainer through GoodPup Dog Training that uses positive reinforcement. I love dogs and cats and grew up with dogs! I’ve volunteered at the San Francisco SPCA for over a decade and have worked with many breeds of dogs of various ages, sizes, and temperaments. I have also walked up to six dogs off leash at Fort Funston when I worked with Top Dog SF for two years. I always strive to stay calm and respond rather than react in any stressful situation. I specialize in animal safe handling and behavior, and look forward to meeting you and your furry best friend for lots of daily enrichment and exercise.

Safety is my number one rule. On my housesitting visits, I will follow your guidelines and rules (if you have any) for taking great care of your pup(s) and making them feel safe and comfortable.

Again, Perry did an amazing job walking my 2.5 year old American Eskimo. Ocean has a handful of special monitoring needs due to a chronic GI condition and his playful interest in exploring, if not trying to consume, anything. Perry is extremely conscienscious and is very alert to Ocean's behaviors. Perry is also wonderful at making sure my dog is properly back in his kennel area when he drops off and leaves. Ocean is also over the top happy and excited the moment he realizes Perry is coming to walk and play with him. Its been really wonderful and a relief to know I have Perry onboard to walk and care for my boy.

My dog and I have been so happy we found Perry. Perry does an amazing job walking, playing and monitoring Ocean. Ocean has. a chronic GI condition and also wants to eat anything he can get to in the house or on walks. I've had a hard time finding someone who can really care for my dog. Perry Is extremely talented at looking out for things Ocean can get at. He also does an excellent job of redirecting If my dog starts having episodes of leash reactivity. It is evident Perry has strong training taking care of dogs. I appreciate that he listens carefully to what the plan is when he drops in and the thorough report and pictures. Best of all, my dog is really happy whenever he sees Perry. I am extremely comfortable knowing Perry can take great care of my mischievous and often sick dog.

Schedule
My availability is typically weekdays for walks and drop-ins. I am also flexible on weekends if needed when enough advanced notice is given. For sittings, weekdays and weekends both work with a preference for weekends.
