I've been pet sitting for friends, family, and neighbors since I was 10 years old and have experience caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I'm also a Registered Veterinary Technician with over six years of experience in veterinary medicine. My background allows me to confidently care for senior pets, puppies and kittens, administer medications, recognize changes in a pet's health or behavior, and provide compassionate, low-stress care. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, loved, and well cared for while giving owners peace of mind.

When caring for pets in your home, I do my best to keep their routine as consistent as possible to help them feel comfortable and secure. I'll follow your instructions closely regarding feeding, walks, medications, and any special needs. As a Registered Veterinary Technician, I'm trained to recognize changes in a pet's health or behavior and will keep you updated if I have any concerns. I treat every home with respect, keeping it clean, secure, and exactly as I found it, while making sure your pets receive the same love and attention I would give my own.

Rachel was responsive, timely, and very easy to work with. It’s clear she is a wiz at animal care! This was my first time having an in home sitter and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The dogs loved her and even cuddled with her! I’m still so happy to have found a great sitter for them because they deserve the best!
Rachel is extremely professional, very kind and a highly educated vet tech. She kept me up to date on important details while we were gone - let me know about potential health issues given our girl is a 17 year old senior and the general care Wendel received from the family member who was dog watching for us. Knowing that I had walkers like Rachel looking out for her gave me a great deal of comfort during a difficult time. She also administered fluids to Wenny while we were away. I trust Rachel throughly and plan to continue working with her because Wendel likes her and it reduces the trauma of having to go to the vet for her fluid therapy.
Rachel took great care of my cat and my apartment while I was away! She was very communicative, sending timely updates and great photos. My cat took to her immediately and I was so happy to know she was in great hands. I would definitely hire Rachel again in the future!
Rachel is fantastic!! She came for a mid and greet and our pups immediately loved her, she has such a warm and calm presence and everyone felt immediately at ease! She had great communication along the way and we received the cutest pics and report from her walk, thank you Rachel!!
Rachel has the biggest heart and will take the best care of your pets. As a veterinarian myself, there are very few people I trust to take care of my dog. Rachel is one of them. She is well versed in animal behavior, husbandry, and medical care. You can’t go wrong choosing her for your pet, especially if they have a medical condition.

Schedule
Pet care is something I truly enjoy and intentionally make time for in my daily routine. As a full-time student, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide pets with the attention, exercise, playtime, and companionship they deserve. I do work 10 hour shifts on Saturdays and Sundays. Whether it's sticking to their normal routine, giving medications, or simply spending quality time with them, I'm committed to making them feel safe, happy, and loved while you're away.
