About: New to Rover, not new to pet sitting! 🐾 I’m offering an introductory rate for my first few bookings while I build my profile here. I’ve spent much of my life caring for animals. I started working in dog and cat boarding at a veterinary practice in high school and have since pet and house sat for friends, family, and clients, volunteered with shelter animals through the PSPCA, and cared for dogs, cats, cows, rabbits, iguanas, ducks, quail, chickens, and fish. My goal is simple: to give you peace of mind while you’re away. I’ll care for your pets like family, communicate thoughtfully, and leave your home just as clean and cared for as you left it. Currently working from home, plenty of time and attention to lavish on your pets. I like to follow your set routines with them as much as possible. I do not currently care for pets in my home. I find that animals usually do best when they can be in their own environments.

Etna took great care of our miniature poodle Hazel while my wife and I were away for a long weekend. We loved the photos and informative updates. Etna also took great care of the house while we were gone—she even washed the bedding she used, and she used a sprinkling of cinnamon (excellent trick she suggested) to keep ants from getting close to Hazel’s food!
