Hi! I'm Madison, a pet sitter and dog walker based in the Mission, San Francisco. I've been around animals my whole life, and cats especially, from the two kitties I adopted with my parents in early high school (Frida & Diego, who live with them back in NY), to all the cats I routinely watch for my friends. Since my freelance schedule has made cat care the easiest fit so far, that's where most of my experience comes from, but I'm just as happy on dog walks and dog sitting, and I'm looking to spend more time with dogs going forward. I'm calm, patient, and attentive. I love getting to know each animal's personality and playing with them once they're comfortable around me. For cats, I keep litter boxes spotless and follow feeding routines exactly. For dogs, I'm comfortable with leash walks and keeping to their regular routine and pace. Either way, I send regular photo updates while you're away. Note: I can walk and sit for dogs, but I'm not able to host dogs overnight in my apartment. I haven't had a chance to adopt my own cat yet (heavily considering it soon!), but I've cat-sat friends' cats in my apartment in SF, and I'm building up more dog experience through consistent walks around the city :)

Madison was an excellent caretaker! He called beforehand to check in on anything my dog needed and how he could cater to him. Got regular updates and pictures from him and I enjoyed my trip knowing my pet was in good hands!
Madison packed an awesome length walk into a 30 min booking and sent me great pics! Super thankful!
Madison was great with our two cats while we were out of town for a long weekend. He was super flexible and even able to come for an extra visit at the last minute. He took good care of our cats, get our shy cat to be comfortable and gave them lots of attention. Would definitely have him take care of them again!

Madison came over to walk my dogs at the last minute while I was out of town and unable to orient him in person. He was responsive, timely, and took great care of them. I would definitely recommend his services!
Madison was wonderful with my very energetic kitten! He brought over toys that my kitty loved and upon returning to my apartment, it seems that my cat had a lovely time getting to know Madison.

I work as a freelance graphic designer, so I’m 100% remote, flexible and in charge of my own time. I’m happy to work with your time and schedule!

Your cat or dog's safety and happiness is my top priority. Before every sitting arrangement, I'll ask all the right questions covering safety concerns, allergies, and any specific needs so you can have complete peace of mind. Whether at your home or mine, I make sure every pet in my care is safe, clean, well fed, and genuinely loved.
A typical day
Pets run the show, it’s all based on the space and attention they need! Whether they want cuddles, playtime, or simply to hangout from a distance, I’ll follow their lead :)

- Before our first booking, I'll walk you through a series of questions covering everything I need to know, from dietary restrictions and health needs to energy levels, behavioral traits, and how your pet interacts with strangers or other animals you might have in your home. The more I know about their routines and quirks, the better I can keep them comfortable and in their happy place. I'll also ask about your communication preferences, so you're always updated in the way that works best for you.
