Caring pet pal while you're away
I have many years of experience caring for my own pets (cats, an elderly dog, and birds) as well as historically being that reliable friend/co-worker who can keep furry friends company while you're out of town. I understand that sometimes your pet may need individualized care to help them manage their anxiety while away from their family, so I'm always attentive to pets' body language for signs of what they need.

I try to recreate the structures and care you outline to make the times you're away the most stress-free they can be. That being said, I currently need to be out between 1:30-10:30 pm on Sundays, Mondays, and Wednesdays, and about 11:30-7:30 on Fridays. So, I’m a good fit for pets that can be left unattended for 8+ hours during those days of the week. Outside those time windows, I provide attentive care to my furry clients and send plenty of photos to their humans! Reach out for any special care needs or requests.

Vanessa was absolutely amazing! She house sat and watched my cat George and did a wonderful job. She was communicative, followed instructions perfectly and took excellent care of George. Schedule
While I drop-in or stay at your home, I make sure to maintain the playtime, feeding, walking and hangout routines that feel just-right for your furry companions.
- CatsVanessa can host up to 1 pet per night
- I'm happy to modify my daily routines around your pet's care needs while under my care. Please just communicate instructions and details when reaching out! It especially helps to know about their personalities, preferences/triggers, training specifics, or anything else that I can quickly put into practice to keep them feeling safe, secure, and happy.
