Calm, caring, mature sitter
I've cared for all kinds of animals all over the world (the most unique: monitoring snake eggs in a hatchery!). I'm calm and confident, and good at keeping your pets from suffering anxiety while you're away on holiday. I specialize in senior pets, and experienced with administering medications, diapers, and helping mobility-challenged animals. I'm open to last-minute and short-term sits, as well as longer sits (14 days+). For longer sits, I can help improve your pet's behavior if you're experiencing challenges.

Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
I ask clients to provide written instructions, but follow that up with questions during our introduction when I arrive. I do ask that pet owners set aside about 25 minutes to introduce their pet to me, so their pet knows that I'm supposed to be there, and I can be trusted. If a pet has a challenging personality, I ask that we meet a few days before departure, so their pet gets to meet me more than once before I start sitting.

Susie took amazing care of our dog (and our home) while we were away. We were 100% confident that our goofy mutt was in great hands during our trip! She is responsible and responsive, caring and considerate…and just a lovely person overall. We had a few changes to our plans, and she just rolled with it so graciously. Susanne looked after our dog for a holiday weekend and was wonderful. Super attentive to our pet's needs while separated from her "pack". Delighted to be reunited but next time we met Susanne, our dog rushed to her - always a good sign. Susanne is very responsible and observant as well. Highly recommend.
Susie was a great petsitter for a whole week. I was of course anxious to leave my fur baby with someone who I had never met previously but Susie was so easy to communicate with and put me at ease. I came home to a house in perfect condition and a very happy & healthy cat. I would definitely recommend Susie to anyone needing help with their pet! She is a very responsible house sitter and seems like a very smart, interesting person over all.
Susie is reliable, capable, punctual, responsible, and was GREAT with our two indoor cats. (Furthermore, our house was cleaner when we returned than when we left, which was an unexpected perk!) We’ve had cat-sitters who barely SAW our cats (because the cats HID the whole time!) but ours were clearly very comfortable with her, which says a lot, and gave us real peace of mind while we were away. We don’t have dogs, but have seen her interact with our friends’ dogs, and she seems equally comfortable and confident, so I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her with either.

Schedule
I work for myself and my hours flexible, so it's easy for me to adjust my schedule to your pet's, whether for meals, walks, playtime or cuddles. Because most of my work is done remotely, your pet has a person around all day to help them feel calm.
