Friendly, animal lover!
I’ve owned a couple of cats and shih tzus. I have personal experience caring for them in addition to Beagles, German Shepherds, Shibas, and Pit Bulls. I am not certified in Veterinary health care but have worked in the medical field for humans with a focus on emergency medicine for two decades and have received cross-training on basic care for dogs from the military; as such, I can interpret unusual symptoms and behaviors to pass on to you, the owner, in case your loved one needs further care at a Veterinary clinic.

Michael was great and helped me with housesitting my kitty. He was very communicative and sent me daily updates with lots of videos and photos of Carrot which I really appreciated, being a worried cat mom. He was super with her and she clearly enjoyed her time with him which was evident from the videos/photos. He is also trustworthy and very thoughtful and my place was cleaner when I got home than how I left it. I highly recommend Michael.
Michael was wonderful with Wally! He has a very calming personality and Wally took to him immediately. I got updates and cute photos during his stay, and Michael was always very responsive to my messages.
Michael is the best. He gave us detailed updates, made sure our dogs got plenty of exercise and sunshine and was accommodating of our tricky drop off / pickup times. Highly recommend!
I had a great experience with Michael! He was reliable, and took excellent care of Kona. He kept me updated throughout the stay with messages and photos. Kona was well cared for and happy. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy dog sitter, and I would definitely book with him again.
Michael was very communicative during the days my dog stayed with him! It made me feel so at ease knowing my pup was well taken care of while we were traveling. I will definitely be booking with Michael again in the future!
Michael was so great with our 2 dogs! He helped us with boarding in his home for our 30 and 35 dogs. He made sure they got great walks everyday, kept oral medication on schedule and was great with communication and pickup/dropoff. I highly recommend Michael for your dog sitting needs!

Schedule
I typically work part-time at a major hospital in the Bay Area- I have a fairly flexible schedule to accommodate those needing extra care for their furry friends!

Safety, trust & environment
In my home, I have a fenced backyard if your pet likes to sunbathe. A number of parks are in close proximity to my home that I can either drive to or walk to with your pet to give them a chance to exercise, potty, and socialize with other pets (if that is what you wish). I have clean, filtered water at home to provide to your pet and can tailor to your pet’s specific nutritional needs as long as you provide them to me. I have one, small dog at home who belongs to my tenant and is well-behaved. If you would like me to drop by your living arrangement to care for your pet, I can transport myself easily and accommodate your pets needs as long as you detail what you would like done for your loved one(s). If they require more frequent walks, that’s perfectly fine!
A typical day
For higher energy dogs, I can go on runs, walks, or hikes out on the beach, local parks, or one of the many nature trails in the bay area. I enjoy playing catch with them and letting them get their zoomies out! If they enjoy being snuggled, I’m more than happy to let them be big potatoes with me on my bed or couch, too! For cats, it’s always a ball using cat wands and engaging/playing with them in that fashion!
