“Sofia was great. She asked good questions, followed instructions, and filled in some gaps that I didn't think to write down. The animals clearly loved her and barely seemed to notice that we'd been gone when we got back. Very trustworthy and kind to our pets.”

“Vanessa was very communicative around planning the visit and she was also very respectful of my cat’s boundaries around new people! She also was skilled in giving my cat her medication with minimal resistance haha. Thank you for taking care of her!”

About: I've had dogs my whole life — that's 29 years of hands-on experience caring for them at every stage. Growing up around both working and non-working dogs gave me a well-rounded understanding of different breeds, temperaments, and needs. I currently have a dog of my own, so your pup will always be in the care of someone who genuinely lives and breathes this. As an added bonus, my sister is a veterinarian — so I bring not just personal experience, but a household full of professional-level knowledge when it comes to your pet's health and wellbeing. I work from home on weekdays, which means your pet is never far from someone who cares. I'm available for drop-in visits throughout the day as long as I can bring my laptop, and I'm free for walks Monday through Friday from 2:30–7pm. Weekends are more flexible, and I'm happy to house sit with advance notice. Having a work-from-home setup is honestly a perk for the pets I care for - there's always a calm, present person nearby. I'm no stranger to multi-dog households as I live with my own dog alongside my family's two dogs, so I'm comfortable managing the dynamics that come with multiple pets under one roof. I have hands-on experience with crate training and potty training, and I've cared for dogs in all kinds of setups: yards, apartments, you name it. For house sitting and drop-in visits, I actually prefer caring for dogs in their own environment as familiar surroundings mean less stress for your pet, and I'm there to keep their routine as normal as possible. It's the setup where I do my best work.
About: I have volunteered and helped cats at the Peninsula Humane Society since 2016. I have experience with socializing shy cats and kittens. I have also been a cat mom for the past two years and neighbors have asked me to watch their cats as well. I have experience with administering medication orally and through injections. I also have experience socializing, playing, and walking small to medium sized dogs! I currently live in San Bruno and work full-time in San Mateo so I will always be nearby for a visit to your pet. I am entirely free on weekends so I may be able to drop in for a visit earlier in the day. I am always diligent about following guidelines set aside for me. I understand that every household is different, so I do my very best to learn and adapt to any changes as needed.
“Sandra was an excellent sitter - she updated me in detail with every visit, made sure my kitty was equipped with food, water, and fresh litter, and always tried to socialize with her even when she was being a grump. She also was very flexible and extremely helpful when my schedule changed last minute - she truly saved my skin! I cannot recommend Sandra enough!”

About: I've been caring for dogs for over 12 years and have experience with all breeds and sizes, from small puppies to large dogs. I'm patient, dependable, and treat every dog like family. Whether it's walks, playtime, feeding, or providing lots of attention, I focus on making every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I am currently working from home, and have the flexibility to step out to take care of your loved ones. I have my own car to get around as needed. I have a fenced yard for my two dogs as well as crates for them to sleep in. Both dogs are very friendly just young and a little crazy.
About: I’m a lifelong dog lover with 20 years of experience raising dogs from puppyhood to happy seniorhood. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes. I have two kids (10 and 12) who love to give snuggles and play with dogs, but they are also respectful and experienced with reading cues when a dog needs space. On walks, I'll make sure your pup is engaged, enriched and comes back happy and tired. When boarding your dog, I’ll warmly provide the home away from home they need and send regular updates and photos for your peace of mind. I am highly communicative and very responsive. I look forward to meeting your pup! I have a flexible schedule, and I’m regularly available for dog walking and drop in visits Monday-Friday. I can board your dog overnight any days of the week or do weekend drop ins or walks with advanced notice. I have a roomy SUV and can pick up/drop off your dog if needed. I have a one story home and a large fenced in backyard. The backyard has a large grassy area as well as a covered deck, a lower open deck and a concrete area. My 85lb 2 year old rescue pup loves other dogs and will provide your dog with lots of playtime and company. My neighborhood is great for walks, and I live right by a large open park. I have experience with puppies, having successfully housetrained three big dogs from 8 weeks old. I also have experience with senior dogs and special needs dogs. Our previous labs lived to 15 and 13, with one that had regular seizures in her last year of life. I believe in positive reinforcement training and will make sure to keep up with any training you’re currently working on with your dog during walks and while they stay with me. I’ve taken care of dogs of all ages and sizes and have a confident yet warm personality that will help your dog quickly get comfortable with me.
About: I've had dogs for as long as I can remember and love caring for them. Nothing makes me happier than seeing a dog enjoying a walk, playing, or getting plenty of belly scratches. I also foster dogs, so I'm experienced with different personalities and needs. If your dog would do best with one-on-one care while boarding, I'll pause fostering to make sure they have my full attention and a safe, loving environment. I have a flexible work schedule and we will go on at least 2 walks during the day. Keep us both healthier and happier throughout the day! I'll always watch them like they are my own and will make sure they don't get into anything unexpected to keep them in good health!
“Jie provided excellent care for our 15-year-old medically fragile senior kitty, who has several health conditions that require daily medication. We booked her to visit our cat three times daily to give her food, meds, litter box scooping, and quality time (cuddles, pets, scritches) while we were out of the country. During these check-ins, she sent us lots of pics, videos, and detailed notes about our cat’s appetite, hydration levels, medication reactions, and litter box activity. When she noticed concerning symptoms (decreased appetite, peeing outside the litter box) she called me immediately to let me know and discuss our options. What impressed me most was her ability to give our cat her daily medication (oral pills) in a way that was quick and low-stress, which did not result in any hisses or bites. I can tell she truly loves cats and cared about our kitty’s well-being as much as we do. We felt reassured that our cat was in good hands with Jie, and we’d definitely book her again for future cat sitting.”

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was 13 years old, and have had cats and dogs for my entire adult life. I have helped friends and family take care of their pets for just as long. I love animals, and their well-being is my utmost priority. I have extensive experience and knowledge on what pets need from experience with my own pets and taking care of pets for others. When I am traveling or need to be away from home for any reason, my main concern is always whether my cats and dogs are happy and getting everything they need. My mission is to do everything I can to give you the worry-free experience I would want myself. I am self-employed, so my schedule is flexible around what you and your pet(s) need. I am available at most times of the day and on weekends/holidays. I understand that every pet’s need can differ based on the situation. I will care for your pet according to his/her individual need.
“We engaged Chenyang for several drop-in visits to take care of our cats. She is very responsible, communicative, and punctual. She’s detail-oriented and took photos of her work to assure us that everything was in order. She’s very kind and gentle to pets and our cats warmed up to her very quickly. We would definitely work with her next time!”

“Stephanie has been so great with my cat. He seems to really like her and she gives detailed notes about her visits. I gave her a few specific requests and she followed them exactly which I appreciate so much. Overall, she’s a great choice and I would not hesitate to reach out to her again.”

“Sabrina took care of my Battouta cat when I was gone for 3 weeks.Sabrina stopped by my house every other day, provided wet food and fresh water, cleaned the litter box, and most importantly played with my cat. She didn't forget to send me cute pics and videos of Battouta. Sabrina got along well with Battouta and I don't see a scenario where pets won't fall in love with her because she cares for them as if they were hers. I highly recommend her take care of your fur babies and I will definitely rebook her whenever I need a sitter again. Thanks Sabrina!”

We are familiar with friendly or anxious/shy dogs as our dog was rescued from the dog meat trade. We would love to get to know your pets and take good care of them! Pet parents share their Rover experiences - San Bruno
Andrea did such an amazing job caring for my two senior, fussy kitties. She is friendly, progressional and kind. The updates she provided me during my trip helped me feel like they were in good hands and I didn’t have to worry. So glad to have found her and I would highly recommend her for any of your pets.

Outstanding! I cannot recommend Natalie highly enough. She looked after our cats for three weeks and each day gave them excellent care with detailed reports and photos. She outfoxed an invading ant colony, offered to do laundry where cats had sickup-ed, cleaned floors of accidents, brought extra treats, supplies and litter from home.

I cannot recommend Shao highly enough! She took incredible care of my two high-energy dogs, one of whom can be very anxious with new people. She was incredibly gentle, respectful of their boundaries, and professional from the moment she arrived. She kept me completely at ease by sending frequent, beautiful photo and video updates throughout the visit. It is so rare to find someone who truly understands a dog’s behavior and can instantly earn the trust of anxious pets. She is an absolute gem, and I will definitely be booking her again!

Blessy was great! Super communicative before, after and during the week she looked after my cat. She even did some light cleaning since the litter tends to track so I didn’t come home to cat litter everywhere. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a sitter!

Yujie watched my two cats while I was away for almost 10 days, and I couldn't have asked for a better sitter. She was very communicative, sending updates and photos regularly, which gave me a lot of peace of mind while I was traveling. I would absolutely book with Yujie again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy
