“Lydia took good care of Clancy, our fur baby, while my family was away for a 2-week vacation in Asia. She sent updates daily with lots of photos of Clancy and was very responsive to any of our questions in the Rover app. We have already booked her again for future cat sitting when we are away.”

“Emily was very attentive and kind to my cats while I was out of town, and she communicated with me clearly and consistently. She also helped me super last minute, which I’m so so appreciative of — would definitely book with her again!”

“Sofia was great. She asked good questions, followed instructions, and filled in some gaps that I didn't think to write down. The animals clearly loved her and barely seemed to notice that we'd been gone when we got back. Very trustworthy and kind to our pets.”

“Sandra was wonderful! She went above and beyond for my cat (who is usually shy meeting new sitters). She was lovely and adaptable to our needs and took very good care of both my cat's physical needs and her home environment while I was away. She also provided a preliminary meet and greet visit and plenty of pictures and updates throughout the booking. Will definitely book again in the future if at all possible and cannot recommend Sandra enough!!”

“I booked Sin Hang last minute once I realized I desperately need help with my new rescue. She was very responsive, easy to communicate, and non-judgemental. I highly recommend this sitter.”
About: I'm a dog lover looking to take care of community pets to ensure that they're dogs are taken care of like how I was able to care for my own dog. I have owned my own pets, including a dog for over 16 years. I am a responsible person who enjoys the presence of animals and will ensure that your dog (or cat) is being taken care of with the utmost care. I can host your pet at my house or sit at your house, whichever is more comfortable for your pet. I am also available to drop in and take your pet out for a walk, play, and socialize so they don't get lonely. I do request that dog boarding requests be discussed with me 48 hours prior to drop off date so that I can make sure that I am available and can accommodate your pet and their needs. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
“Mystyc was amazing with my elderly, disabled kitty Fiona! She was curious and helpful and willing to go the extra mile to make Fiona comfortable. She administered meds and changed protective coverings on Fiona's ankles with confidence and no trouble. Mystyc communicated clearly and sent updates and pics everyday. I would hire her again without hesitation, she truly cared about Fiona and it showed. Mystyc is a superstar and renewed my faith in Rover sitters!”

“As usual Shao is the best! She dropped by to spend time with ozzy while I worked a very long shift. She walked, fed, gave his medicine, comforted and spent time with him. Ozzy is my senior dog that requires very specific care and she always does the best job taking care of him just as I would do. Shao always updates me consistently with photos and videos of what they’re up to, Ozzy always looks genuinely happy and comfortable, which is so so important because he gets very bad anxiety. Whenever I get home after Shao dropped by he always looks very peaceful and rested. Thank you Shao! Highly recommend!”

“Vanessa was very communicative around planning the visit and she was also very respectful of my cat’s boundaries around new people! She also was skilled in giving my cat her medication with minimal resistance haha. Thank you for taking care of her!”

“Shai did an amazing job sitting our disabled, elderly kitty! She followed our routine and Fiona loved her. Fiona doesn't love many people. Shai communicated well and send pics. We will definitely book with her again!”

“Christal was great with Koda! I always stress leaving him behind when I travel, but Christal was able to keep my well informed with detailed updates, photos, and videos of koda throughout the booking! Koda was in a really great mood when I came back!! Would recommend Christal!”

I currently work a part-time job at a dental office as a receptionist, my weekly schedule for work is Monday - Thursday from noon- 5:30pm which gives me the mornings and evening to look after your fur babies if and when needed! I have a nice sized yard and I live in a very quiet and pleasant neighborhood to walk your dog! Growing up my mom was a house keeper so from a very young age I was taught how to keep any space whether it was my home or another’s nicely organized and cared for! Respect will always been shown to you and your pets while you are away!

About: Three years at an SPCA animal shelter taught me to read dogs of every breed, age, and temperament, from anxious rescues to energetic and rambunctious bigger dogs. As the parent of a senior rescue with anxiety and a finicky appetite, I bring hands-on experience with senior care, calming techniques, and patient, attentive handling that puts nervous dogs at ease. I’m currently between roles and actively interviewing for full-time positions, which has opened up a great routine for dog care. I’m reliably available early mornings after 8:30- 10:30, and evenings from 5-7 on weekdays. Weekends are flexible and worked out based on requests as they come in, so I’m happy to accommodate what fits your schedule. Your dog’s safety and comfort come first, whether we’re out on a walk or spending time at my place. I have a private balcony at home for supervised outdoor time, plus a big community playground nearby that’s great for extra space to play, sniff around, and burn off energy. I’m attentive to each dog’s individual needs, from leash handling to knowing when a dog needs a calmer, quieter space instead.
About: I have extensive experience caring for a variety of pets, having owned 6 cats and a dog over the years. I am comfortable with pets of all personalities, from the independent to the cuddly, and I understand the specific needs of both cats and dogs. My experience includes feeding, grooming, walking, and providing lots of love and attention. With my background in pet care, I’m ready to ensure your furry family members feel safe, happy, and well-cared for while you’re away. I have 2 cats who both lounge and play all day long! I make sure to do lots of play sessions as they are both under 2 years old and give them lots of love. I do have work Wednesdays 9am-5pm and Fridays and Saturdays from 2pm-10pm. In addition to work, I also have class on Thursdays 9am-11:50am, but I would love to fit your fur babies into my schedule! While I haven’t had experience caring for pets in someone else’s home yet, I am confident in my ability to adapt to new environments and provide the same level of care and attention as I do with my own pets. I take great care to ensure pets feel comfortable and secure, following their usual routines and respecting their space. I would ensure regular feeding, playtime, and attention while keeping their environment clean and safe. I'm excited to offer my services and look forward to the opportunity to care for your pets with the same love and dedication.

About: My family had cockapoo named Dobby growing up, and I’ve been dogsitting since moving away from home to get my dog fix! I’m looking to find more four legged friends in the area :) I was a local dogsitter in Austin for two years with regular families before moving to Denver. For my previous dog sitting positions, I’ll typically live and stay the night at the family’s home for weekends while they’re gone. I take their dog on walks and adventures to local hiking areas. At the end of the day the dog and I cuddle on the couch together! I’ll treat your dog like they’re a part of my family! I have a wide variety of experience with dogs of many different ages and breeds: puppies to senior dogs!

Ben has been extremely communicative and flexible leading up to and through out our scheduled drop-in visits for my Labrador retriever. He asked great questions. He was reliable so that I trusted my dog in his care for multiple days in a row. I am very happy to have Ben as our dog sitter.

Arillia communicated clearly and promptly, arrived on time to drop-in visits, and provided photos while we were away. We were able to relax and know that our kitties were well taken care of in our absence. We will definitely reach out to Arillia in the future!

Mystyc (and Jai) took excellent care of our two cats while we were away for 3 weeks! They followed all instructions perfectly, were awesome at sending over regular reports and photos during the scheduled check-ins and even helped to take packages in. I came back to neat litterboxes and our cats were happy and purring. Thank you Mystyc!!

Christal was great with Koda! I always stress leaving him behind when I travel, but Christal was able to keep my well informed with detailed updates, photos, and videos of koda throughout the booking! Koda was in a really great mood when I came back!! Would recommend Christal!

She was very thorough and took good care of our cats!! Both of our cats are a handful but she managed to look after them with ease. She made sure to interact a lot with them during the short amount of time she had with them each day, and I appreciate that she asked us a lot of questions when she needed more clarification on something. We would definitely book with her again!

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Brisbane. On Rover:
- 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 94% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
