Since I work in a school setting, I am off work earlier than most (around 3pm) and have a lot of availability in the summer and holiday breaks!

All my cats are indoors, so I am comfortable with keeping cats safe indoors as well as providing care and stimulation so they stay active and engaged. Or if your cat just prefers food and cuddles, that works too! Not only does it take a lot of trust for someone to care for your loved one, but also to be in your home so I am super respectful of your home and belongings and also happy to do any additional home tasks needed (e.g. bringing in mail, water plants, etc.).

How shy are your pets? This lets me know how much attention they are comfortable with, and whether I need to move a bit slower around the house as to not startle them, etc.
A typical day
Every household is different, and I respect every cat's unique lifestyle. Generally I try to follow a similar care style I do for my cat which is play then prey (some engagement before eating their meal). She's pretty high maintenance (4-5 meals a day, multiple play times), so I know the importance of routine and want to stick to yours as closely as possible while you're gone! I will definitely incorporate play and pets if they're comfortable before feeding. Of course I want to make sure they're fed with a clean bathroom, but also that they receive the attention and comfort they deserve!

Pet care experience
I've taken care of cats of my own over the last few years, and have lived in a household with multiple animals: large dogs, cats, and rodents who I have cared for while their owners were away.

We had a great experience with Andrea! She has a calm, gentle demeanor that our cats took to right away, and they seemed comfortable with her from the very start. Andrea is communicative, reliable, and responsible. Even though it was sometimes challenging, she took the time to walk our cats in the backyard and came up with a method that she felt comfortable with while keeping them safe. We really appreciated her patience and willingness to adapt. After each visit, Andrea sent us a detailed update along with lots of photos and videos. We looked forward to receiving them every day, and they gave us great peace of mind while we were away. We felt completely at ease knowing our cats were in her care. We highly recommend Andrea to anyone looking for a caring, dependable, and attentive cat sitter!
Andrea did an amazing job caring for our kitties, Leya and Simon! We really appreciated how thorough she was and how carefully she followed all of our instructions. She spent lots of quality playtime with Simon, which he absolutely loved, and gave both cats wonderful care and attention while we were away. Andrea was also very respectful of our home, which gave us extra peace of mind. It’s clear she genuinely cares about the pets she looks after. Such a pleasure to be working with Andrea again. Cats love her, she is very attentive, and goes above and beyond every time. This time we had a little accident with the cat locking herself in one of the bedrooms, and Andrea was able to come one extra time- to rescue her.
