Have reliable transportation (SUV) to take your dog or cat places such as grooming salons, hospitals, parks, etc. Available during weekends and holidays (I’m a hermit😅) If your dog doesn’t mind company, I would bring my German Shepherd. I will, of course, ask you first 🙃 Sharing is caring so I usually bring a wide variety of treats😋 I normally don’t walk more than 3 dogs at a time so that your pets get more attention and love🥰

Ein typischer Tag
I like to stimulate dogs physically and mentally so they stay healthy. I am a very active person and will be more than happy to take your dog on a jog/run. Also, it is important to take plenty of time for a slow walk, so dogs get lots of time to pick up new, exiting scents and to find a perfect spot to do their ‘business’.

I am an IT professional who is VERY passionate about animals 🫶🏻 I even decided to take them off my plate entirely 😅 Working with animals is my form of therapy and a way to exercise. I work from home and pretty much make my own schedule so I am very flexible 🤗 I grew up with dogs, cats and hamsters in the home, and I currently have a dog 🐕, 2 cats 🐈, and a hamster 🐹 I worked for a dog walking company in the past, so I have experience taking care of dogs of different sizes, from Tea Cup Poodles to Newfoundland Retrievers. I also did A Lot of volunteering at no-kill shelters when I was in school. During my Rover ‘career’ I got a chance to learn how to care for other animals: bunnies, parrots and mice😁 I have experience administering medications, including injections (subcutaneous and inter muscular only) PS I take a TON of photos for Rover cards and add notes to them😉 (see examples in my photo gallery)

Maria was great with my dog Miel at first, very communicative and reliable, sending photos and updates, and I was happy with her drop off care three times a week. Then she suddenly stopped showing up without notice, which left me in a difficult situation since I relied on her for my dog. She later mentioned she had been sick, which I completely understand, and we agreed she could come back for the next visit, but she never followed up or responded again.
My shy, fussy cats really warmed up to Maria! She came morning and evening for 12 days while I was away and during that time she brought them out of their shell. Not only that but she cleaned the litter box wach time and washed the food dishes and cleaned the feeding mat each time. So adding it all up: quality socializing and play time plus cleaning and feeding, My kitties and I give Maria 5 stars!
Maria helped me give liquid medication to my cat. Since I'm a new cat parent, I didn't have the skills to do it by myself. We worked out a good system and she taught me what I needed to do if I ever want to try it by myself. Even though my cat didn't like the medicine, she greeted Maria every time Maria came over. And, Maria brought lots of good treats to try out. The experience was very successful.
Maria was amazing with our temperamental kitty. Maria was very thoughtful and aware of Margot’s wariness of the “new person” in the house. She took her time with Margot and I think Maria definitely won over our kitty. Would definitely use Maria again in the future.
