I’ve been caring for pets most of my life, starting with helping family friends with their cats and dogs when I was younger. Over the years, I’ve worked with pets of all ages, breeds, and personalities through Rover and personal experience. This has taught me how important it is to understand each animal’s unique needs—whether they are energetic, shy, playful, or in need of extra patience. I have experience with: 🐾 Dog walking, playtime, and enrichment activities 🐕 Senior pet care, including gentle handling and medication administration 🐱 Cat care, from feeding and litter box cleaning to play and companionship 📸 Providing daily updates with photos and notes, so you always know how your pet is doing What sets me apart is my focus on creating a safe, calm, and loving environment. I adapt to your pet’s routines and personality, making sure they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. Our experience with Emily was great. She was easy to communicate with, flexible on pickup and drop off times and our dog Summer seemed well cared for and happy. We appreciated that she only takes one boarding pet at a time.
Emily is great! super attentive to detail and great at following Maggie’s routine. She’s a pretty anxious dog and Emily handled her perfectly :)
Dexter was so happy and comfortable with Emily for the day.
Emily was great with our dog, he’s not super friendly with new people but he was really happy to go on walks with Emily!
Most importantly, our dog was safe and well cared for by Emily. We found Emily to be calm, flexible, thoughtful and conscientious. I was new to Rover and read a lot of profiles to find Emily. We arranged a meet and greet before booking and were confident we could trust her to take care of our dog. She sent daily photos/videos and took all our dog’s idiosyncrasies in stride. She was comfortable following his fresh food regimen and took him on his walk early when an extremely hot day was predicted. She responded quickly to all our questions before and during his stay, and she helped to resolve an issue whereby Rover double charged us instead of making the first charge a place holder. We highly recommend Emily for your pet care needs.
Emily was very professional and did a great job dropping in to care for our two cats for the weekend!

I love giving dogs both exercise and fun. This can mean a game of fetch, tug-of-war, or playful wrestling on the floor, depending on their energy level. I also enjoy taking walks and like to vary the routes so dogs don’t get bored with the same path each day. With cats, I provide playtime, enrichment, and plenty of affection (on their terms, of course).
