About: Hi there! I'm a lifelong animal lover and proud former fur mom to two amazing cats and a wonderful dog. They brought immeasurable love, laughter, and lessons into my life. Though I’m not currently able to commit to having pets of my own, I deeply miss the companionship and joy animals bring. That’s why I’ve joined Rover - to stay connected to the world of wagging tails, soft purrs, and loving snuggles. Whether it’s going for walks, playtime, feeding, or just curling up with your pet, I treat every furry friend like family. I have hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats through all stages of life. I raised my dog, Scrappy, a Jack-a-poo, from a young age through his senior years. He was very intelligent, stubborn, and needed space from other dogs and people, so I managed his walks with care - always making sure he was comfortable and had a safe space. As he aged, I adapted his routine, including stroller walks when needed. I handled everything from grooming and feeding a picky eater to administering medications and wiping paws (yes, even butts when needed). I also raised two cats, Fufinho and Chase, from kittenhood. Fufinho developed diabetes and pancreatitis in his senior years, which required a strict medication schedule, including insulin shots and IV fluids. Chase, who had kidney failure, also required close monitoring and advanced care. In addition, I cat-sit and dog-sit for my furry nieces - helping with walks, feeding, litter scooping, and giving them love, comfort, and attention while their owners are away. I’m confident and compassionate when it comes to furry babies, and I respect their space, allowing them to take the lead in the relationship. I understand it can be overwhelming or stressful for some pets, and I always approach them with patience, kindness, and care. I believe that animals have a way of grounding us, awakening parts of our soul we didn’t even know were sleeping. Their love is pure, their presence is healing, and every moment with them is a gift... I currently work full-time during the week, so I’m starting slow and offering weekend availability for now. I’m happy to help with cat visits, dog walks, or drop-ins on Saturdays and Sundays and possibly some weekday evenings with notice. As I ease into a schedule, I’ll open up more availability, but I’m committed to giving each baby the attention and care they deserve. At this time, I’m not offering pet boarding in my home — but it’s something I may consider in the future after getting to know your furry baby and building mutual trust. Their comfort and well-being come first, and I want to make sure any environment feels like home for them. While I don’t have a fenced yard, I do have cozy pet beds, bowls, toys, and access to lovely parks in the surrounding area for safe, leashed walks. If and when I begin offering boarding, it will be thoughtfully planned with your pet’s personality and needs in mind.
“Billy is great with big, excited dogs like Kendall. I went along for their first meet&greet walk and can confirm: he is a calming presence in the face of post-nap zoomies & other-dog-excitedness! Would absolutely recommend to others.”

“Cameron was great. Communicated well and even brought his pup to keep Cairo company during the hour long walk. If you need a walker, book him! Unfortunately, I’ll be unable to book him again since I’m moving out of state!”

“So wonderful working with Stephanie! She’s so sweet to my dog and very communicative on the app. Nothing I would change I feel very lucky my dog gets to hang out with her 🙂”

“Katherine was a wonderful dog walker, she took so many great photos of Ricki and had a lot of great notes for each walk! I would definitely book her again for Ricki!”

About: Hello! I’m a wildlife biologist by formal training and an animal lover by heart. I grew up with dogs and have dog-sat countless times for friends and family. Although my greatest joy is cuddling and playing with dogs, I also know that every dog is different and I always respect their boundaries. I’ve pet-sat a wide range of dogs — from small, derpy ones, all the way to large, reactive shelter dogs. Although I love dogs, the current joy of my life is my cat, Lumi. When I first adopted him, he struggled severely with food and play aggression. Through lots of training, patience, and routine, he is now a completely loving and sweet boy that has even learned to sit for his meals! Working with a shelter cat greatly improved my ability to read and understand them. I can’t wait to meet your pet! I work from home and I’m always looking to take a break and get outside. What a better way than to visit a furry friend?! I have a friendly cat who loves both dogs and other cats. If your pet were to stay with me, I have a nice yard and multiple rooms so that your pet will always have a safe space to themselves in my home.
“Ray is an incredibly wonderful dog sitter, and clearly works really well with my sweet puppy, who is still learning lots about the world and needs gentle guidance. I so appreciate all he does to support and reinforce her training, on the leash and off.”

About: As a full time higher education professional with a true passion for dogs, I spent my free time throughout my college and graduate school years getting professional experience in the dog care industry. Through my years working in a dog daycare setting I have learned crucial dog handling skills including reading dog body language, working with reactive dogs, basic obedience training, and medication dosing. My dedication spanned to working overnight shifts where I cared for boarding dogs ranging from 6 months to 14 years of age. With these important skills under my belt, I am hoping to keep utilizing them in the time I have beyond my 9-5. I am currently raising my own pup, Otis, to be the best gentleman he can be! I have absolutely adored the dog training process, and love watching him succeed. I would love to do the same for your dog. With years of professional experience and a passion to keep dog care in my life, you can be confident that your dog is under trustworthy and thoughtful supervision. I look forward to befriending your best friend!! 🐾 As mentioned, I am a full time professional by day, but I am dedicated to providing walks & drop ins to pups in need in the evenings, some days during lunch, and weekends! With extreme attention to detail, I will make sure your furry friend is walked and cared for exactly how you prefer. I understand that there is no “one-size-fits-all” approach to pet care, and every dog is unique. So, getting to know you and your dog is of utmost importance to me.
“Absolutely loved having Lynne as our dog walker! She was awesome - super friendly and had great communication throughout. She walked our dog, Liliboo, for 3 days and instantly became his new best friend. Lynne kept me updated every day with messages, notes, and adorable pics that made me smile. I could tell Liliboo absolutely adored her - he was so happy and comfortable. Can’t wait to book her again! Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve taken care of a wide range of dogs since I was a child. I have experience with both small and large dogs, puppies and seniors, shy-anxious, and even fear-aggressive dogs from my time working at a County Animal Shelter. Currently a grad student on summer break with plenty of time to take care of pets. My dog Bones also loves other dogs and is more than happy to host playmates! I have lots of experience leash walking, crating, bathing, potty and command training…you name it! I am also educated on dog and cat body language and capable of handling small groups of dogs. I promise to keep your baby safe and happy at all times.
“Meredith was incredibly reliable, trustworthy, and loving with my dog! I had issues with my previous walker with being flaky, but Meredith was proactive in confirming our upcoming walks for the month and took the initiative to make sure Rover reflected our scheduled walks. She was flexible with me when I needed time changes, and Coco absolutely adores her. Could not recommend more!”

About: My first cat was born in my backyard when I was 9, along with his 3 other siblings. He was the last born and the mother stopped cleaning the cats so my dad and I cared for him for a few days until returning him to the shelter we had built for the cats, where he was accepted back with love. His name was Paws. Since and during Paws' life we've had a dog and multiple other cats, in addition to being surrounded by the dogs, cats, bids, and lizards of countless friends and family. I have puppy-sat, dog-sat, cat-sat, and 3-weiner dogs at once for a week-sat. I also volunteer at the MSPCA and work with farm animals and their special handling needs. I work full time as a personal trainer so my hours vary and I can provide same day service for walks, potty breaks, and play time. House/overnight stays are easily coordinated as my schedule usually just requires a few hours (3-4) out of the house at a time, during daytime, working hours. Caring for your pet is in your control and I am merely a helper on that path. I can use the treats, foods, toys, parks, paths, and training tactics of your preference or am happy to work from my own experience. In the past I have also provided special care and am willing to take on most special medical needs for your animal friend. CPR/AED Certified.
