About: I was a long time pet parent for over 20 years. I've lived in the East Cambridge area for over 3 years and know all the best spots for walks. I stay home most of the day, so I can keep a close eye on your pet. My schedule is currently very flexible, and I'm available most days from morning to late afternoon. I'm happy to work with you to find a time that works best for everyone. I was previously a realtor assistant and have 10+ years of experience entering other's homes, respecting privacy, and making sure to securely lock the entryways before leaving.

About: I’ve had pets since I was a child - cats, ferrets, rabbits, you name it. In 2021, I got my first cat as an adult — a British Shorthair kitten from Russia and he is well taken care of. Many friends, clients and family members have relied on me to take care of their cats. I am a writer and was a former book publicist for the last 6 years. I’m now writing full time with pet sitting as my other job! I have a lot of flexibility and time to travel to client’s homes. I will treat your pets and home they are our my own. I have two cats that live with me in Cambridge and will always put 100% effort in to taking care of your cat.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cats my entire life, including Golden Retrievers and multiple cats, and have experience raising and caring for puppies of different ages and sizes. I currently have an orange cat named Cleo, so I’m very comfortable with both dogs and cats and understand how important it is to make each pet feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in their own routine. I recently graduated from graduate school with a degree in architecture and engineering and live in the Central Square/Cambridge area. I love being outside and taking long walks around Cambridge and Boston, so I’m especially excited to spend that time with dogs who enjoy getting out and exploring. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and energy levels, from playful puppies to older, more relaxed dogs. I’m responsible, attentive, and will treat your pet like they’re my own. I’m happy to follow detailed feeding, walking, medication, and bedtime routines, and I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you can feel completely comfortable while you’re away. I also love getting to know each pet’s unique personality and making sure they receive plenty of attention, playtime, and affection! As a recent graduate, I currently have a very flexible schedule and can easily work pet care into my daily routine. I’ll make sure doors and windows are secure, pets are supervised appropriately, and their food, water, litter, medications, walks, and other routines are taken care of as instructed. I’m also happy to send regular photos and updates so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, happy, and cared for while keeping their normal routine as consistent as possible.

About: I have had dogs and cats my entire life, and have walked neighbors' dogs and watched their hamsters, Guinea pigs, and cats since I was 9! I have experience with every type of pet, from puppies to senior cats, and would love to show your animal some love :) I have had the privilege of volunteering with Broken Tail Rescue weekly for over a year, so I am very well-versed in caring for all kinds of cats and dogs. I am a grad student at Harvard University and have a very flexible schedule. I can be available at most reasonable times, just reach out! I will feed, walk, and play with your pets and do other things such as change litter or give meds as needed. I do all of these things with my animals at home!

About: I’ve been dog sitting for family for about 20 years and have also watched cats for neighbors. I’ve had my own dog for the past seven years, and we trained together so she could visit patients in hospitals. She was also reactive to certain breeds after a bad experience prior to adopting her, so I became very attentive on walks and learned how to recognize what might trigger her. I worked with her on counter-conditioning and gradually helped her become much more comfortable around all other dogs. I pay a lot of attention to a dog’s behavior and tailor my interactions based on the individual pup. I work full-time for a tech company, but I have a good amount of flexibility and control over my schedule. I’m used to building my day around pet care from having my own dog for seven years, so walks and regular breaks already fit naturally into my routine. I can usually be flexible with timing and am happy to work with an owner’s schedule and their pet’s normal routine. I’ve stayed in family members’ homes for one to two weeks at a time while caring for their dogs, so I’m comfortable staying in someone else’s home and treating it with respect. I’d keep a pet’s normal routine as much as possible and be attentive to things like doors, gates, feeding schedules, and anything else that could be a safety concern. On a recent group trip with people I’d just met, we voted on a series of “awards.” Almost everyone voted for me as the person they’d most want to leave their house keys with.

About: Hi everyone! My name is Maddie. I’ve been around my dogs my whole life and I’ve been taking care of dogs since middle school. I had a Portuguese Water Dog growing up, and have always loved volunteering to walk and spend nights with my neighbors’ dogs, as well. In college, I walked dogs for professors and people living in town. I would love nothing more than to help you out with your dog :). I’m responsive and organized, and typically have no issue picking up last-minute requests! I’m working a hybrid clinical research job that has fairly flexible hours, and I love breaking my day up with some fun dog time :). For walks and drop-ins, I will be sure to understand any particular details ahead of time to ensure your dog’s safety. As an athlete, I have no trouble with strong dogs on the leash.

About: I have had my own dog since I was born, and through this I fell in love with pets. I then started the care end of it on a smaller scale and then improved once I got more clients. I would go to client's house while they were on vacation to take care of their pets, i.e. walking, feeding, bathroom breaks, and entertainment. I would also walk dogs that needed a break in the day while their parents were away at work. I even started my own dog walking business junior year, but I have a small community so it didn't take off. I got a few replies from this, and did the best of my ability to get there in a timely manner. I hope to end up doing it on a bigger scale this summer and gain even more experience with dogs. I am available all day to check in on your pets as frequently as you would like. I just finished a grad school program and am currently looking at applying to others so I wanted the time in between to be filled with work that I really enjoy. I have a great respect for people’s home and personal items. I understand it can be difficult to let a stranger into your home to care for your animal who often means the world to you however I will work hard to make you and your furry friend comfortable!
